Scheduling was easy and they promised 3 men. On the day of the move, only two men arrived, a supervisor and helper. They would not move anything until my wife signed paperwork stating that they were not responsible for damages. I was not home and would not have signed this. We had to move that weekend or I would have found a different company. They worked extremely fast and did not take there time. When we arrived at our new home, they only unloaded the truck as fast as they could and stated that they had to move a third home before they could go home. They only stacked everything and would not place the furniture or boxes where we needed. Before I contacted with this company, I asked if they would set everything up and move everything since I just had spine surgery. They promised me that they would. They did not set up anything, not even the beds. They threw most items in the basement. They broke or damaged many items. The helper had to move almost everything by his self, even large furniture as the supervisor stayed in the back of the truck. After the helper moved everything, I asked him for his help to set up furniture in the living room and master. When his supervisor saw him helping, he yelled at him and said that that is not their job. If you need boxes moved from warehouse to warehouse, I am sure they can. If you are moving a home, beware. Wow, wow, WOW!!! The movers just delivered my items to storage a few minutes ago and I could not hop on here fast enough to review! They showed up within their appointment window, called when they were close, and it was smooth sailing the whole way through. My poor husband is so used to moving everything on his own, so this was a much needed service for our physical and mental well-being. Called for them to rectify the situation and they told me they don't look at the inventory and that I'd have to pay for them to return claiming to take 1/2 off for my inconvenience as if that would make it alright. Great Communication, Hardworking, Go Getters! From the moment I contacted Move and Go, Davorius who was my contact was responsive, patient and great communicator. We moved interstate NC to FL and it was "not a problem". We then wanted a partial pack and that was "not a problem". Are you getting the theme? "not a problem" and best of all it wasn't. Slight delay on packing day due to traffic but he communicated and kept us apprised of status, not just they were delayed but update on timing twice. We ended up with a set price rather than hourly. They packed us, one long day and drove and unloaded us mid afternoon the next. This was between Christmas and New Years. We aren't completely unpacked but so far on tea cup lost a handle. Things happen. It didn't look poorly packed and all the other cups were fine in the box. Each mover in both locations introduced themselves and were available to all of us for quick assistance, usually moving a box to another room or lifting and relocating furniture as there was room or adjustments needed. We brought our fridge and needed the fridge from the new house relocated to the garage, not a problem. Moving can be a trying experience and stress can't be escaped, but Davorius and OShane and their team did their best to make it as good an experience and possible. read more

We hired move and go for a local move where half our belongings went to a new home and half to a storage unit. That made logistics a little more challenging and they did a great job maximizing our storage unit. They were polite and professional and took care of our belongings. They worked well together as a team and seemed to care about taking good care of our furniture. Their pricing was very fair and in line with one other local mover we priced out. I just want to say they were great and well worth the money! I was sooo nervous about this. It completely worked out. They were upfront about pricing and what was quoted and agreed upon was exactly that. Everything is in writing it's not verbal. They even have a website for you to enter in your inventory. I appreciate Oshin(name probably spelled wrong) and Josh. They even dissembled and reassembled my bed. Although I will say I found a small broke piece the day after. But my bed is under warranty and the way they had to fight to get apart and back together Im super happy about. It's not their fault that the previous assemblymen messed up things. A couple months ago, when a national moving company shipped our container across country to their warehouse in Charlotte, they refused to complete the move to our driveway as they advertised and were holding our stuff in their warehouse stating that we had to come pick it up as they refused to deliver. I contacted Move and Go and they were fabulous and worked with us to get our possessions delivered to our driveway. The young man that was in charge of the crew was excellent, great attitude and manners. They got everything into our house and saved the day. Absolutely phenomenal movers. Arrived on time, did a quick familiarization on the move site and got to work right away. We then went to a second pickup site at a local storage facility. I was only anticipating having them move my bigger stuff and I was gonna get all the boxes and bins myself at a later time. There was room in the truck so they agreed to move all of it. They had the truck packed bottom to top, front to back with no room to spare. I was amazed that they managed to fit it all but they did. I originally found Move and Go on Craigslist and I was a bit apprehensive. After reading their online reviews I chose them and I am not disappointed that I did. Best rates in town. INCREDIBLY UNPROFESSIONAL BUSINESS. BEWARE !!!!! Scheduled and confirmed a move with this company three weeks before my move date. A day before my scheduled move date Move and Go called and asked if I could switch my morning time move to the afternoon which I agreed upon with no issue. I was informed that the move time would be between 1 -3 pm and someone would reach out when they were on the way. Got a call first thing in the morning asking to add an extra man to the move and at an added fee that I refused because I didn't have that many items. By 3:15 pm I had received no call from anyone and no one had showed up. When I reached out to the company to find out what was going on, it took almost twenty minutes to finally speak with someone and I was put on hold while the dispatcher reached out to find out what had happened. I was told that they had a number of employees out that were no call/no shows and didn't know if they could handle the move today. I explained to them I needed to be out of my apartment ASAP and whether I needed to call another moving service to handle the move. They offered no way of helping me fix this issue that I was now in because of them and their unprofessionalism and told me it probably would be best to go with another service.
