I had done a bunch of research for a cross country move from Southern California to Boston and found Moving Pros online and noticed they had outstanding reviews! I saw they were family owned and operated and saw wonderful pictures of various moves they had made for different clients. They just seemed like really good people! I got in touch with Vicky and because we were only moving a one-bedroom apartment all the way across the country, it was going to take some work to make it happen. When Vicky said she'd work on it, she meant it! It took only a few phone calls and we locked everything in! Fast-forward to the day of the move and Haim, Sergio and Jr were fantastic! My husband and I had packed everything ourselves (much was in storage from a previous move) and the crew quickly and efficiently repacked things that needed it to sustain a cross-country trip, (they told us in advance that they would do it if necessary). Hubby and I drove our car to Boston and Vicky kept in touch with me along the way to let us know how the driver was doing with timing. He actually had to pick up a load in the Bay Area after our house before driving across the country. Our new street is very narrow and we knew the big trailer could not do the delivery so all of our items were transferred to a shuttle before being brought here. The driver and his crew were also incredible! It was the hottest, most humid day here in Boston and we did not have AC for our 3rd floor unit, (we bought an AC right after that). We felt so bad for the crew but we made sure to have plenty of cold waters, bananas and string cheeses. Everything was such a smooth process. They seriously were amazing! Not one scratch on anything! Expert moving professionals. Made our cross country moving experience so much less stressful! My fiancee and I were moving from Los Angeles to Vermont during the pandemic on tight timelines. This family-run business in LA really stepped up and made sure every part of the move was smoothly coordinate. The packers came in and got our LA apartment and storage unit packed up so quickly. Watching them pack, I was impressed by how they diligently wrapped everything for protection while keeping it condensed. Our belongings took up way less space than if we'd done the packing ourselves, that's for sure. Every box was packed with a tracking system, which is the inventory system they check against when dropped off to make sure everything is received. My move was completely screwed by Moving Pro. (Moving Date: Oct. 7th 2017) I needed to move out of my Mountain View house by Oct. 7th to New York. Vicky repeatedly told me how much she cared about my move and taking my business seriously. Oh my God, I was completely fooled. Considering the stress & anxiety I suffered with Moving Pro, I suspect all the excellent Yelp reviews they got are fake. Mila from Moving Pro initially worked so hard to get my business. Once I signed and paid deposit with Moving Pro, they did not seem to want to do my move. First of all, Vicky could not confirm my moving date 6th or 7th until 2 days before the move date. She never called me to tell me the moving date. Every time I called her, she told me to call her back in a few days. At this point, I felt something was really wrong. When I called 2 days before the move to find out the exact move date, Vicky added $450 to pack my 5 mirrors. I completely lost my trust in Moving Por. I cancelled Moving Pro. Moving Pro did not give me a full refund on my deposit. Here is event log: Spt. 18-27: I started conversation with Mila about moving. I sent photos of items. I had many phone calls to make sure Mila could give me as accurate quote as possible. I told her that the only thing I was packing was boxes. Mila said, "We will put all of your mirrors and framed paintings in boxes so that they do not brake." and "I am glad that you chose us since you have many breakables. We can pack them nicely for you so they will not brake." Sep. 27: Mila sent me a final quote. I paid deposit to be moved on Oct. 6th or 7th. Mila told me that Vicky would know the exact date on Oct. 2nd. Oct. 2: I called Vicky to ask for the exact date of the move. She told me to call back on 5th. I was already feeling uneasy. Oct. 5: I called Vicky to find out the date of the move. She said, "By the way I have been wandering who is packing your 5 mirrors? Your quote does not say that we are packing the mirrors. I saw these mirrors in photos you sent to me. They are really big." If she had these questions, why didn't she call me as soon as she noticed for clarification? Why didn't she wait to ask these questions until I called 2 days before the move??? Vicky said, "I need to charge you additional $450 to pack your mirrors." My suspicion about Moving Pro came true at this point. Maybe Vicky thought that I would pay additional $450 since it was already 2 days before my moving due date. I cancelled Moving Pro. This company is amazing. Let me tell you how they changed a nightmare situation into a stress free move. I called around and got quotes for my move from San Diego to Denver and stupidly chose a company that quoted me $300 less than Moving Pro. The job was a complete pack-out, pickup, and delivery. The job window was Sunday-Wednesday. No one ever showed. As in, Wednesday night rolls around and not a single person has shown up to pack so much as a plate. So I called Mila back at Moving Pro and she helped fix everything. Friday morning arrives and Haim is there with his crew to pack everything for us. This was in June, peak moving season, and they were at my house in under 36 hours. We told Haim that we had to be in Denver by Monday to sign for our new house and he and his crew stayed until 11 pm packing and loading our 2300 sq ft house so that we could make signing. They were true professionals in every sense of the word and I could not be happier. Vicky called on Wednesday to let us know how our shipment was going and that we would take delivery on Saturday. I rolled the dice and went with them based on yelp reviews but it all worked out and all our stuff got up from LA to Seattle all in one piece and the only issue was that our stuff got there a day later than expected. However, even though our stuff came a day or 2 later than expected (in 7 days), it was still slightly faster than what other moving companies were quoting (10+ days) and I'm still giving them 5 stars. The rate was very good for the service we received. Haim and Vicky were very responsive and helpful the entire time and even followed up days after the move to make sure there were no issues. What a wonderful company. My family needed a pretty fast move across country from LA to Atlanta. We had multiple highly recommended companies come provide an estimate. At the last minute a friend from Atlanta referred us to Moving Pro. From the moment I got on the phone with Vicky (owner - it's family owned which is a huge perk to me), I knew, despite the jump in cost, that I'd be hooked. Vicky & Chaim took incredible care of us. They came to the house to do an estimate, and walked me through all of my questions and corrected any of my misconceptions about the process. They explained to me some of the issues that I would encounter with the other estimates as well. While they are a high quality company and could not 'compete' with some of the more competitive quotes, they made sure that they were worth every extra penny. They wound up packing (and in some cases repacking) all of my boxes with a guarantee that everything would come back in one piece (and they did. When they did a walk through and saw what I had already packed they explained to me that the boxes I used and packing methods were not going to hold up in a long distance move). Most importantly, though all of the moving companies demanded a 15-20 day delivery window, Vicky & Chaim knew I was in a predicament as I have 3 little children (1 of them an infant) and 2 dogs. I needed a move in asap. They PROMISED ME (and delivered on that promise) a turnaround within 1 week of the pickup. They picked up on a thursday and delivered the following thursday. That alone was worth the difference in cost from the other companies. The crew that came to pack up was incredible. SO FAST, respectful, and caring of my items. One of the guys in particular was awesome. I can't remember his name. Greg? Steve? Lol (I'm bad w names). But he was extremely friendly, patient, helpful...listened to all of my requests. I'd call myself a high maintenance customer and I was met with patience and amicability at every turn. One little qualm I had is that not all the packers labeled what box the room came from, so I would want to make sure you told them to do that in the future (it made unpacking a little more time consuming then it had to be). But their attitudes and efficiency were amazing. The same crew came to load up the car. Also, so fast. So respectful. They made what would have been an incredibly stressful time as enjoyable as I could hope for. I cannot stress how much I adore Chaim (& Vicky), who personally led the packing/loading crew because he knew all of my concerns. The driver george gave me his number. After she reviewed she called us back,saying everything looks great quoting us around $12,000 (this was $4000 less than Allied) I also need to mention that my husband requested the estimate for a higher cu.ft. than Allied counted, just to be on the safe side. Here she is with a very friendly voice, talking about all the free stuff they are going to do for us and charge us only $12,000 for our move from Redondo Beach to Omaha. SOUNDED GREAT!!! we said let's do it. Mila said we had to put $3000 down on the phone, sounded wrong to us... but for this very friendly person who has been very helping, we said "WHAT CAN GO WRONG" paid the down payment, set the date and good to go!!! ON THE DAY OF THE MOVE!!!! NIGHTMARE HAS STARTED!!! 3 guys in blue company tshirt have arrived at the door 2 hours later than the scheduled meeting (I won't even complain about that , this is nothing big comparing to the treatment I faced) one of the guy introduced himself as HAYIM and asked if his guys can put the blankets by the door and if he can have a look at the packages and the house. I let him in. AS soon as he walks in, he sees the boxes that are very organized and carefully placed by the kitchen and says "you used the wrong boxes, home depot boxes are wrong boxes, everything you put in this will be broken, our boxes are great, they are ticker, we will open all these boxes and repack them in our boxes" I refused and said " you don't even know what is in them or how they are placed in plastic containers inside" ... he said to me with an 80's greedy, businessman mindset "Look Pinar, the point of moving your stuff from point A to point B is to move them safely... you pay for receiving your stuff without any brakeage. We want to make sure your stuff gets point B without any damage" . Unbelievably lame old school businessman talks non stop. I stopped him and said, I moved so many times, I know how to pack, and I know I did a great job.Repacking everything will waste so much time and I am not ok with that. After literally arguing with him to stop being so pertinacious about a service I don't want he agreed to leave the boxes as they are. And started to walk through the house. OMG!!! This time he said to me upstairs... this estimate is wrong that we gave you and asked if we asked for a walk through estimate from them... I said YES I DID. But your rep, said ALLIED is a reliable estimator and she took their estimate as base and used items from their list to give me this estimate. We even asked for extra cu.ft. to be in the safe side. HAYIM SAID " THIS HOUSE IS SO BIG AND FULL OF NICE FURNITURE" I said " DO YOU CHARGE BY THE SIZE OF THE HOUSE and fine furniture OR by the cu.ft or LBS of the items. YOU ARE NOT GOING TO MOVE THE HOUSE" ... After argueing, he said let me work on the new estimate and let's talk about it. I said OK... I was expecting it to be couple thousands dollar more and I was going to be OK with it. I haven't seen my kids for 2 weeks, SO RATHER THAN ARGUEING WITH THIS MAN I'D PAY COUPLE THOUSAND MORE AND JUST COMPLETE THIS MOVE AND GO HUG MY KIDS. I AM IN THIS MINDSET... HAYIM CAME BACK WITH THE REVISED ESTIMATE!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!! OUT OF THIS WORLD... MY NEW PRICE WAS $21,883.24 . because we had a lavish house and lavish everything. I asked him to leave, he called me "psychopath" on his way out, threatened me saying I will never get back my $3000 "you know I don't have to give back". WE ENDED UP HIRING SKYVANLINES and paid just a little over $12,000 and nothing but nothing is broken they were super helping and respectful. WE COULDNT GET $1000 of OUR DEPOSIT back. read more

I am sooo glad I found Haim and his wonderful team! My move was not my first experience with Haim, he had originally helped my friend move across the country (from Southern California to Pennsylvania) and that was how I met him. He was so terrific with her and her move that I had to book him for myself a year later. I had a much bigger job, moving my whole house to Washington, but Haim was simply wonderful. He drove down to San Diego to give me a visual estimate so it would be more accurate. I booked him about 2 months in advance, and during that time he would periodically check up on me to see how I was handling the move. Vicky was friendly and communicative whenever I had questions. Finally, the week of the move, they let me know the day and the time frame of when Haim and his team, Humberto, Sean, and Junior, would arrive, I received a text 30 minutes before his arrival, and they set to work. I did the full service packing and shipping with them, and although I had already packed up a lot of stuff myself in order to do the home showing, there were still a lot of stuff lying around and half filled boxes everywhere. They packed up the house in a couple of hours, tagged, wrapped, and loaded everything. Small parts for furniture were carefully packed up and clearly marked so they wouldn't be lost or thrown out. They even helped sweep up! I've heard of some horror stories when moving, movers not showing up on time, or at all, not knowing they had to pack things, being late, things broken, etc, none of that happened with Haim. Once the stuff were all on the truck, we set out for our move and our stuff arrived in Washington in 3 days! There was a 1 day delay from their original plan, but it was well within my expectations for delivery. The delivery team here, Avery and his helper (sorry I forgot his name, it was a hectic week) were also wonderful. Very friendly, helpful, and got everything done quickly. After the move, they called again, checking in on me, asking if everything went to my satisfaction, and just to see how I was. If I ever moved again, I would definitely go with Moving Pro and would recommend him to everyone. Haim and Vicky genuinely care about their clients. PS: His big purple truck is awesome! read more

I'm very satisfied with the care and professionalism shown by Haim (our driver) and Moving Pro. My wife and I moved from PA to Los Angeles and we have multiple glass and mirrored pieces of furniture which needed special care. We were told in detail by our driver Haim what the move would look like, where the stops would be, and given an estimate on when our things would arrive at our destination. Most importantly, Haim and the other mover carefully placed our things from the truck into our house, without breaking ANYTHING, charged a fair price, and were totally reasonable to work with the entire time.
