Moxie has been very reliable in their scheduling, responsiveness, and pricing. This week, we needed a re-service and they fit us in quickly and at no cost to us. The day of service, some construction workers told our field expert some conflicting information, preventing the Moxie vehicle from approaching our home. After clarifying the situation, the field expert, Cooper D, came back within a few minutes and provided the whole service with a great and kind attitude - despite the circumstances. We were so grateful Cooper D was willing and happy to come back to service our home. The office staff was also very kind and helpful during the mix-up. Highly recommended. read more

Angel G. came today almost on a moment's notice to tend to my spider situation. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He assured me it was not poisonous but would take care of it. In my experience, Moxie Service is very good, but I dislike not having the same tech assigned to my home every quarter, not that any of them have been subpar; they all have been great. The reason this is important to me is because there are places I don't want sprayed (mostly edible plants/ herbs), and I can't guarantee they will avoid those areas. It's a pain to repeat myself and wonder if the instructions are being passed on to the next tech when they service the front yard on times we're not home. Maybe they write notes in my account, I'm just not sure. Sometime, my front yard is the only thing serviced because I don't have a chance to call and reschedule the time assigned via voice message. If they call and you don't answer, they don't call back to be sure the assigned date works. The scheduler will call and leave a message assuming her chosen date works for us, which most times it does not. My last company would oftentimes come out on the same day, for the most part, every quarter. Working Monday-Friday with pets that can't be cooped up all day is challenging , in general. I know we've become a tipping culture, but I don't like that they encourage tipping for a service I pay good money for. Overall, good company. :) read more

We had Field Expert Mason Kapphahn come for our scheduled pest inspection and treatment. He did an outstanding job, looking for spiders and any crawling insects. I watched from afar as he treated all the areas that the insects hide. He sprayed the base of the building, entry way and edge of the patio area. Rude, lied about trying there month to month service. Said there spray was pet safe, my dogs got so sick with diarrhea, and vomiting for two weeks. Admitted they lied and said oh well, when they asked my husband to sign for services but it was actually a contract. read more

I got my place serviced within 2 weeks ago and shortly after started to see army of black ants in my kitchen. I paid $189 for the service. When I asked about their warranty work they said it wasn't. I asked if they come and do a free touch up since it has only been 2 weeks and they said they would have to charge me again. I told them this was not good business and they pretty much said-can't help you. I will never use this company again. If you can't eliminate bugs and keep them out within a 3 week period, then you didn't do a good job. The customer shouldn't have to pay every month for your services to work. Moxie has been handling our monthly servicing. I called them to come check out a small hole. I sent a text Friday and received a prompt response. They were able to come out the following Tuesday. The Field Expert, Tiago A handled the situation. He explained to me what the problem was, the resolution, and how it works. It was mice or rats. We live behind a green belt with a view fence and we also have a green belt across the street on one side of our house. I liked how informative he was. We walked around my property and proposed other places traps can be installed but he assured me that what was put out would work. He also sprayed visible ant activity at the front of our home. Technician Casey Leroy did a fantastic job at our home on 3/16/2023. Casey was very punctual arriving at our location. Casey was clean in his attire and demonstrated a very professional attitude. Casey also very thoroughly explained the process and what he was doing before starting the job and ask if I had any questions before he began working. His mannerisms and demeanor spoke volumes for the type of person he was. After completing the job, Casey once again explained everything in its entirety, and wanted to validate if I had a clear understanding of the job he performed and where there any questions. The detailed report provided online was outstanding! The behavior of Casey's attitude and professional character is truly a great asset for Moxie (or any company who hires someone of his caliber). Our service techs are always a 5/5, especially Kayla G in our latest visit! Cannot emphasize enough that the standard pest techs are amazing. However, their "termite" inspection team is a 0/5. I have had car sleezy car salesman that are less pushy. I would avoid this inspection at all cost as they will try to "make you a great deal" for $2500 on a system you won't actually own, and need to use their $350 annual service to actually keep on property. Not to mention, after a local company came out, they made me aware that our home is already protected from our builder for 3 years (of course the builder didn't inform us of this), and any termite inspection should have checked for this (in the electrical panel) just to inform us and know the property. Not only this, but a door to door salesman knocked, ignoring 4 no soliciting signs to try and enroll us.. even though we already used Moxie. This combined with price increases are likely leading me to switch to someone local to me. read more

Moxie is deceiving its customers by not being out front when selling a product. I had moxie come out and sell me termite bait stations and bait at high, high cost ($2174) with a contract that hides the fact that these stations are rentals. That is ridiculous because if customers knew that after paying such high price for these plastic bait stations that are only rentals they would be losing money because most customers will not buy them. The contract should be straightforward out front and state that these are rentals instead of hiding the fact in areas where the busy customers mostly just take a Quick Look. Even in the second page of the contract it's not clear that they are rentals. Stop cheating your customers. I don't usually do reviews but now I will in Next Door, yahoo, google, Yelp, and any where else I can including putting in a complaint via bbb. read more

Total scam. This company over promised and under delivered BIG TIME. Completed my 1 year contract and less than 2 weeks after their last "service" had to have my NEW company come out to get rid of all the pests that have come around due to the lack of service they provide. Save your money and literally choose ANY OTHER COMPANY!!!!! Giving one star because it's required, but zero to negative stars is what this company deserves. read more
