I always had Moxie's down as a place to try for brunch however, I unexpectedly found myself there last night on a date. We came with our belly's empty as the 1st place we were at, the kitchen had closed an Moxie's was the closest place that was open. We wanted to sit outside an it was less that a 10 minute wait. It was crowded inside since it was the NBA Finals game going on. We ordered the calamari, thai chili chicken, an cesar salad all to share. We added salmon to the salad an oh my goodness it was the BEST Cesar salad I've ever had! My date couldn't stop raving over the garlic bread. Everything was delicious an came out hot an in a timely manner. As for drinks, my date had the Riesling (suggested by our server Kaitlyn) an I had the Pinapple Basil Margarita which was just okay. Next time I'd get the wine. It was a costly meal @ $86 but definitely money well spent! Looking forward to going back. Came here after a hockey game for some post game drinks and dinner. We're seated relatively quickly even though they were pretty busy but there were only two of us. I had one of their specialty drinks, a peppermint mocha martini. It was decent & the rim was lined with candy cane or something of that sort, it was good. My friend had the basil pineapple margarita, I thought it was ok but they thought it had a bit too much basil. We tried the potstickers & Brussel sprouts for apps. The potstickers definitely need the sauce it's served with otherwise they were very bland. The Brussel sprouts were very good though, the sauce they had on it was delicious! For entree I had the veggie power bowl, it looks really good & ended up being good after I got some more of the sauce/dressing that was on it. And my friend had the burger which looked good & they enjoyed. Overall a decent experience and good place to watch the games if you're looking for something like that. I've always heard good things about Moxies and finally decided to try. Had a reservation on New Years Eve and we were sat immediately. In order to make a reservation they put a $50 hold on your card incase for no show. Not sure if this is always a rule or because of the holiday. The place was really cute and they have 2 areas. 1 is by the bar where it's more social and loud. They have another section which is more quiet and perfect for dates or family time. Service was soo great and our waitress was very attentive. We got steak bites as an appetizer and they were very flavor and tender, highly recommend. I got the steak frites and my friend got the blackened mahi mahi. Everything was very delicious and enjoyed the meal from beginning to end. Lots of space indoors and outdoors with large heaters and cabana style seating ensuring that all parties have some sort of warmth and privach should they choose to brave the outdoors in the fall/winter. Living in the DFW I had heard of Moxie's several times but I'd never been until a friend suggested it for a birthday celebration. The interior is open and airy with an upscale sports lounge type feel. I ordered the breakfast tacos with chorizo and it was really good! We ordered a margarita of some sort but it was actually very weak so we sent them back and just settled for orange juice. The portion sizes were very reasonable for the price too. Had passed by this restaurant many times and finally decided to give it a try. So glad we did. It was buzzing, even at 5:00 in the evening before a typical dinner crowd. The menu has plenty to select from and lots of variety, so we will be going back again, multiple times. We started with drinks and then decided to just order several appetizers rather than a main course and share everything. My wife and I actually do this quite frequently and this was an idea restaurant for that. The items we decided on were the Crab Cake, the pork dumpling Potstickers, the Roasted Tomato Bruschetta and the Cashew Chicken Lettuce Wraps. Each one of them was a delight and some had a particularly different flair to them. The crab cakes were pretty much pure crab with just enough breading to hold them together. A highlight of this item was the amazing lemon cream. The potstickers would rival any Asian restaurant and were perfectly cooked with an outstanding chili ponzu & fresh mango salsa. The deconstructed bruschetta was outstanding and the whipped feta made them totally unique. The lettuce wraps were also incredible with the crispest iceberg lettuce in perfect sizes we have ever had for this dish elsewhere. We can highly recommend Moxies for the food. The service was also outstanding with our server totally into our idea of appetizers and very assuring on our quantity being right. 2/16/2025 today was my first day at Moxie....we decided to have brunch with friends after church and heard great things....we were seated in a timely manner but oh did we know that was going to be the only timely thing that would happen... the waiter came to our table maybe twice...and we had to tell her to check on our drinks and to check on our food...our drinks took over 20 mins and when they ask the bartender how long on the drinks they were told no such ticket was implemented... our appetizers took 30mins and when my food was cold... The tables around us had great service from other waiters but everyone who had our waiter was complaining....after I had to take my food back it came back quicker then when I first ordered and it was to my satisfaction....Caroline needs more training on service and customer service...I will not be back at this location read more

Had lunch here and the food is cooked to perfection. I selected the Blacken Mahi Mahi. Wasn't my favorite dish. I'm not big on Chorizo on tuna or with mashed potatoes. My boyfriend got the Steak Frites. That was delicious! I will get that next time. Our service lacked some basic food serving knowledge but she was fairly new so I won't take a star away for that. If you sit outdoors you're constantly hearing traffic at an intersection with loud motorist. Overall I would recommend this restaurant and will definitely return to try dinner indoors. read more

Started with a smoked mezcal old fashioned which had a great smoky smell to it; the smell was kinda a unique smell smoke, not sure what wood it was they used to create the smoke but I liked that it was different. And the mezcal was a great smoky one. Really well crafted cocktail. Opted for the next of their old fashioned which was a fusion old fashioned based on Japenese whiskey. It was cool but not as good as the mezcal one. Got a blackened chicken sandwich which was a ton of chicken, really flavorful, and delicious. There was a ton of blackening spice, not just a dash so it actually had some great kick to it. The fries were great too but I was pretty full off sandwich by that point. Some tiny manager girl there is on a power trip, literally stuck the person next to us tab onto our tab and then claimed it was ours to pay. When we argued that wasn't our tab she threatened to call the onsite police over and bullied us into paying 70 tab of a man we didn't even know to avoid being arrested.
