    OMG! French Toast
    Michelle C.

Great brunch place! I've always thought breakfast places were basic and nothing special, but Snooze has proved me wrong. Cocktails: Boozy Blackberry Mint Lemonade was good, very much tequila-forward. I don't ever get bloody mary's, but my friend said their Spicy Bloody is the best. I tried his and it was amazing. After I finished my Boozy Blackberry Mint Lemonade, we ordered a round of Spicy Bloody's for the three of us. The first Spicy Bloody was amazing, but the second round that I personally got was very watery-I couldn't finish it. If I could have that first Spicy Bloody Mary again, I would in a heart beat. Food: We started off with the Bacon but different, it was good, nothing crazy. I have never ordered Biscuits and Gravy in my life because to me, it's such a basic dish. However, my friend ordered and it was actually really good! I would actually order that myself. The Habernero Pork Belly Breakfast Fried Rice was really good! The OMG! French Toast was good as well, but it didn't blow my mind. We the. Finished off with Shrimp & Grits, it was really good as well-loved the cajun inspiration. It reminded me so much of gumbo, but in grits form which I loved! We came in knowing that Snooze is always busy all the time, so for the service, we didn't top tier service. The ambiance was chill, but with how busy it was, the atmosphere was very fast-paced. We had to ask for other servers for shared plates, ordered a dish through another server, and requested for water refills twice from the others. With how busy it was, I believe our server did the best she could have done. Overall, Snooze is the only place that I would ever order a Spicy Bloody and Biscuits and Gravy at. Definitely my favorite breakfast place, I would definitely come back!

Couldn't believe the Vegan Options included Pancakes This is my second review for Snooze AM The vegan options include tofu and plant based chorizo: -Burrito -Tacos -Two of their bowls (forgot the names but it includes sweet potato) -Vegan Banana Bliss Pancakes I love everything but the Tofu is not well seasoned, thank goodness I love Tofu in general. I love all their locations all over the states but my fave is the one in Oaklawn Ave. & Plano They even shared one of my social media posts because I took all my non vegan friends for the first time and they all love it. What I love the most is the rewards I went for my birthday and got free pancakes and a discount because I am a silver bennefit.

Found in Google and it was a fun experience. An eclectic staff, and we sat at the bar which was maned by Abby. Abby was funny, engaging and helpful. I would go again just for her. She makes an excellent spicy Bloody Mary. The food was very good. Only run is the Avocado toast, was a spread (not enough) and wasn't freshly made. Everything else was great

Don't snooze - get over here real quick for an amazing breakfast! The host & hostess were super welcoming. We actually got a free pancake to start the morning on the right track! Super large portions so come hungry. The strawberry pancake and banana pancake are yummy. The mimosas were top notch. Try a blend of orange and pineapple - deliciousness! Parking can be a bit of a challenge on Sunday fundays.

Stopped by for brunch and enjoyed it. Good food and friendly service. Plenty of seating and they have a parking lot. Family friendly casual spot to eat at.

This was likely one of the best brunch experiences I have ever had. The restaurant was full, but we had no wait. The restaurant was actually a lot larger than I was expecting. Our waiter was Oliver and he was great, he wasn't pushy when we weren't ready and he came at all the right times. It was very loud inside, you can still hear your party, but be prepared to repeat a thing or 2. We both go the strawberry martini mimosas and I got the buy 2 deal for the eggs Benedict and got the smashed avocado and the one with prosciutto. Husband got the jalapeno pork belly.

Another great visit! Brandy always makes sure I'm taken care of! The pork belly fried rice was sold out so i had to get something different. The bacon was super tasty. Good easter brunch meal but i missed the fried rice! Wait wasnt bad either!

Snooze's food always hits. If you time your commute well, you can join the waitlist via Yelp before arriving - I wouldn't recommend trying to walk in unless you're a party of 1 or 2. I got the Bella Bella Benny & Habanero Pork Belly Benny. My dad and I both preferred the Bella Bella Benny but both were good, just note the habanero pork belly benny is pretty sweet and I didn't get much heat from it. My dad enjoyed his Snooze Classic. Very cute interior! We enjoyed our brunch but wish the server was more attentive as she barely checked on us throughout our meal. Sliced prosciutto, melted Italian cheese, poached cage-free eggs on toasted rustic bread. Topped with house-made cream cheese hollandaise, balsamic glaze, Dijon vinaigrette and Parmesan-dressed arugula. Ciao Bella! Habanero Pork Belly Benny Braised habanero pork belly on English muffin with bacon-espresso jam, poached cage-free eggs, house-made cream cheese hollandaise and candied cranberry - 1480 cal

What a great breakfast spot! Totally exceeded expectations, the food was excellent (I had the protein bowl BLT, but then ALSO had the cinnamon pancake & hashbrowns on the side!) Suffice to say I was very full and happy! Service was friendly as well :)

I've come to Snooze several times and their Chocolate Chip Pancake and Spuds Deluxe w\ Sunnyside eggs were fire. They also have dirty soda . Meme was my sever and she was so sweet and helpful making sure we got everything w needed and checked on is frequently. Highly recommend Snooze for a brunch or weekend spot

Can't go wrong with Snooze, love this place. Great service, good food and champagne on tap! No complaints... hate to wait but glad they have the waitlist on yelp. I love the bigger tables but I'll take what I can get! Will definitely return! The pancake flight was amazing!!

Overall it was a fair experience with some hiccups. The service was good, the hostess was friendly and my server was attentive. I didn't enjoy how my food was initially served to me. The bacon was burnt hard as a rock and not edible. My pancake was also cold and wouldn't even melt the butter served on it. The manager did apologize for the bacon and explained what they had ready was all burnt and it would take 18 minutes to make fresh. She offered me other choices so I chose the sausage patty. Overall I would like to try them again to see if the food can improve. The coffee was just very basic too almost too watery.

My mom and I were in town to visit family and found Snooze by accident. Right off the bat we loved the vibe of the place and the decor. The staff that greeted us were all smiles and immediately welcoming! We were sat at a table quick and took some time to look at the menu, afterall everything sounded great! Let me start by saying I grew up on a mix of down home southern/cajun food and I have to admit I am so picky about my breakfasts! I tend to rate breakfasts spots based on a few things, Hot chocolate ( I am a kid at heart what can I say), eggs (how well theyre cooked) and the big one....Biscuits and Gravy!!! Now lucky for me, on this rainy Dallas morning, I was able to try all 3! Without disrespecting the Queen of my family, my Grandma, I have to say the Biscuits and Gravy I had at Snooze that morning, were right up there with hers. I was immediately transported to my Grandmothers Sunday table, with a big plate of Biscuits and Gravy, Eggs and a hot cocoa. The Biscuits were light and fluffy and the gravy has a little kick to it and delicious sausage. The eggs were cooked to perfection, not overly cooked and well seasoned. My Hot chocolate came with a perfect topping of whipped cream and a swirl of chocolate sauce. It was the perfect start to my week! My mom has the pick 2 benedict where she had their ham benny and the bella bella benny and she finished her plate without a crumb left! The eggs were perfectly poached and the flavors were out of this world! I realize of course this is a lenghthy review but when you're good you're good, and they were GREAT! We felt like we were amongst family and friends and the food left us with both full stomachs and hearts! I believe our waiter was Omar, but I could very well have that wrong, what I can say without a doubt was he was kind, funny and knowledgeable about the food and estrablishment. We can not wait to come back and have told everyone we know in the area to visit!

We came in near closing time, but Emilia provided us great service and stayed attentive even though they were clearly packed. We were seated at a table near the door, and unfortunately it had a vomit smell. Whatever it was, my friend could not stand it and had to get up and step away from the table. We first thought the culprit was the paper drink coasters, but then the staff removed the door mat near us later on, so maybe someone puked on it and the smell lingered, even after it was cleaned up. Clear Mizu ($16): This has Sakura vermouth and bitters, so we ordered it. It tasted like straight up gin and was not good. It was actually one of the rare times my husband could not finish his drink. Kyoto Sunset ($15): This one wasn't bad and tasted like honeydew. The ingredients include honeydew Calpico, so that makes sense. Johnny Walker Black ($16): This was our friend's drink, which I think was just coke and Johnny Walker. Nothing special about the taste either. Given the smell and so-so/terrible cocktails, we will not be coming back or taking our friends here.

During my second visit, I tried the Bitter Lemon Soda, which was also very good--simple, refreshing, and without any overpowering flavors. I actually enjoyed The Bowen House so much that I went twice during my weekend trip to Dallas. It has an almost speakeasy-like atmosphere, with low lighting and a cozy, historic feel. It's also in a very walkable area, which made it easy to visit on foot. There is some parking available, although I would say it's somewhat limited. I don't think it would be the best spot for a very large group, but it would be perfect for a few friends getting together. I also appreciated that you can order a drink while waiting for a table or bar seating, which made the wait feel much more enjoyable. Overall, The Bowen House was one of my favorite places I visited while in Dallas. Between the atmosphere, welcoming service, and well-crafted drinks, it's definitely a place I would return to the next time I'm in town.

The hotel property is like four legs under the table - a great location, a great hotel experience, a great restaurant experience, and a entertainment experience (The Mansion Bar). At least one leg has been kicked out, one is suffering. The Mansion Bar used to have a great recipe for success - proven by how busy and regular the customers were and loyal (or was), and the top tier talent that was routine for 10+ years. Me and my friends have a relationship with the long time staff as customers as well as the excellent music talent. The cause? Not precisely sure but I think it's new ownership, at the very least a new Food & Bev manager. I also know the staff is very upset about these changes and the relationships with the repeat music talent is now a mess. I wouldn't be surprise if the staff start leaving. I'm hoping whomever is making these decisions can revert back to what was working. Dallas has a lot of great venues that will fill this void.

(I rarely post Yelp reviews so that's how bad it was) I ordered the steak frites medium-well (thinking it would probably come out well-done, as most non-steakhouses tend to do). After a long wait for our food (the restaurant didn't look that busy, but maybe a lot of to-go orders?) I received the pictured steak: I'm pretty sure I can still hear it mooing. How anyone could look at this and think this is medium-well is beyond me. I tried taking a bite, but it was so raw it was inedible to eat - I would've been chewing for ages. I brought this up to my waiter, who said he would take it back and speak to the kitchen. My group needed to leave for another event (didn't anticipate waiting nearly an hour for our food) so we simultaneously asked for our checks. The kicker? My waiter did not follow up with me on how raw the steak was and did not comp my meal/provide any kind of remedy. I wasn't looking for a free meal, but the lack of follow-through to remedy the situation was the icing on the cake (or insert some kind of raw steak pun). My cocktail (which all arrived AFTER our meals were delivered) was pretty good, thus the 2 stars. But I question why/how my steak was so raw despite me waiting 45-55 minutes for it. Overall, only come here for drinks - so long as you're okay with waiting forever & a day for them.
