Nick was the server for our family and it was a pleasant surprise. In an area of the district that seems to be a revolving door for restraunts, im hoping that this place sticks around. Not only did my cup never go empty during lunch service, he was attentive enough to keep my kids entertained and made sure mom and dad had a chance to eat too. What an amazing experience! We visited on a Saturday at 6pm and expected to wait an hour, but our table was ready within 15 min! The environment was clean and entire staff was friendly. We also liked the fact that the music wasn't so loud, so we could actually talk and enjoy our meal. Our waiter Edgar was on it! He was friendly, efficient, and helpful explaining the menu items and how the ordering system works. We were even visited by the manager, Amanda, who took the time to ask us about our visit, the food, and any recommendations. This was my first AYCE korean bbq experience, so I didn't know what to expect. We ordered a variety of bulgogi, brisket, pork belly, and even chicken. I had the friends I was with do all the cooking, but I learned a lot! The meats were fresh, the servers were friendly and easily available for any questions we may have had. We ordered Peach Soju, but they had plenty of other options available too. We went on a Tuesday evening so it was not too busy, it was perfect. We just went here for the first time with my family. It gets very busy, so definitely sign in on Yelp to get your place in line. The variety of different dishes, meats, noodles, tacos and salads was impressive. We loved cooking on the open grill and our server constantly came to check in on us and place a new grill often. It is a really fun family experience and believe me, you won't leave hungry. It's a great value as well when compared to other Korean BBQ. Highly recommend checking it out. I was excited to try this Korean BBQ restaurant after seeing significant hype on TikTok. I added myself to the waitlist and was quoted an approximate 40-minute wait. However, once we arrived and checked in, the experience became frustrating. Although Yelp notified us that our table was ready and a staff member initially told us the same, we waited an additional 40 minutes while repeatedly being told, "we are setting up your table." During this time, two other parties were seated before us. After we approached the staff again, a manager finally acknowledged the situation and seated us. She explained they were short-staffed, which we would have understood had expectations been communicated more clearly. The restaurant itself was very busy but visually appealing, with a cute atmosphere and artwork that stood out. Our waiter was excellent and provided attentive service. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the restaurant was lacking, and the menu felt limited in terms of food, meat selection, and beverages. Given the pricing, the offerings felt overpriced. Additionally, the flavors leaned heavily toward an Americanized version of Korean BBQ, which was not to my preference. Toward the end of our visit, we witnessed a staff member slip and injure himself due to the cleanliness issues. The response from the team was concerning, as the incident appeared to be largely ignored and the employee was encouraged to continue working. Overall, while there were some positive aspects, the wait time miscommunication, cleanliness concerns, limited menu, and handling of staff safety issues ultimately left a negative impression. It has the same food we already love but in a smaller spot and it felt a lot more relaxed. The appetizers were amazing too. I'm glad we checked out this newly opened AYCE KBBQ They had Korean street foods on their menu (e.g., tteokbokki, mandu, fried chicken, bulgogi fries) and some soup/noodle dishes. But, we only got to try soondubu (tofu soup). The service crew were also very attentive. They changed our grills, even before we request for it. They checked on us regularly to see if we need any refill in any of the small dishes (banchan). At the end of the meal, they gave us 2 tokens so we can try our luck at the claw machine :) read more
