I found Mr Fix It Right Plumber on Craigslist. I gave him a call and he made an appointment for later that same night to swing by and fix my plumbing problem in Oakland. I was installing a bidet i've installed before but having trouble installing leak free at this location. Turns out I was missing a washer and crossthreaded the fill valve. Bryan was able to identify both issues and ended up replacing the washer and fill valve with a reasonable flat flee for the labor and parts. He conveniently carries extra parts in his van. read more

Had a clogged main line and had everything backed up. Invision toilet paper coming out of the shower drain. Called around to maybe 10 different local companies and Mr fix it was by far the cheapest. Within an hour they arrived and fixed the problem. Not only were they easy to talk to they were transparent with the work they were doing and very helpful on suggestions for longer term solutions. Bryan did a great job and was very helpful. Working at a hair salon there come times where pipes get clogged. We have had other people come to snake the pipes multiple times and it never really did much to fix the problem. When Bryan came he actually assessed the problem and didn't just grab the rooter and have at it. He paid attention to details and even went under the shop to see what was going on. So it's the Eve of Christmas Eve (and a Saturday night too) and our sink clogs up. Called a couple of other plumbers who either didn't answer the phone or couldn't get anyone out until Tuesday after Christmas.
