We had an absolute catastrophe. Sewage coming out of our clean out flooding our side yard. Had Roto router out and they could not fix the problem. Then said that they can't send anyone else out until the next morning.Called Mr. fix it right plumbing in a panic. The gentleman on the phone so that they would be over in less than an hour. He got there in 20 minutes. He was there maybe 25 minutes. Fixed good as new. He was knowledgeable And extremely effective. I couldn't recommend these guys anymore. I should say Brian did replace my water valve for the washing machine and put in a new faucet that I had purchased already. It was an easy faucet to install, as told to me by another plumber who told me to buy that kind. Both of these items took a total of less than 1.5 hrs. $500 . He claims he told me the price over they phone. He said $350 for new valve and $150 for new sink. The $350 is the general price "per job" he charges. I want to pay fair wages, but that is insane!!!! I will not have him back.. He was nice, though. I feel super swindled. He doesn't book more than a day in advance. read more

The price shown for any clogged drain with proper access was 69.99. Good deal I thought. He came to my house on time but told me that the access point to the clog was inside my home and therefore he could not honor the $69 pricing. He charged me $150. He put approx. 30 feet of cable into access point and five minutes of total labor later was done. I'm so disappointed. Mr. Fix It advertises all over its website and on Yelp that it charges $69.99 for ANY CLOGGED drain. My shower drain is clogged. I would definitely put that in the "any drain" category. Brian came out this afternoon and told me that he would only charge the $69.99 for a clean out drain. For my shower clog, he would charge more than twice that. I won't work with a business that does false advertising to get in the door. I have a leaky pipe under my kitchen sink. There was a lot of water on our kitchen floor. I called tonight at 8pm and asked for someone to come out tomorrow. The guy who answered the phone was great and said he would be out tomorrow. So far really good. My neighbor recommended this business to me. Bryan came to the rescue today. I had two leaking toilets from the base last night at 8PM. They were not usable unless I wanted to clean the river that came in after it being flushed. I reached Bryan at 8:30PM and explained the issue he said he would be at my house at 8:30AM. Bryan showed up promptly and got to work. Within 45 minutes the clogs were fixed and one of the toilets was re-sealed. He explained what happened and didn't try to add additional service (I.e. using a camera) He also told us of some great de-clogger to use for the sinks and how to apply it. The plumber showed up on short notice and appeared to have fixed the clogged toilet/backup in the bathtub by snaking through the vent pipe on the roof. He was in and out quickly and was nice enough. The toilets became clogged again less than 24 hours later. It was apparent the issue wasn't fixed. We called him back that morning and he said "I don't offer a warranty on my work because I don't know what you put down your drain after I leave, but since it was less than 24 hours ago I'll come back". He came back, plunged and flushed the toilets a few times and the clog appeared to be gone. Fast forward three weeks - everything is backed up again. This guy does a lot of snaking but not a lot of problem diagnosing and solving. $175 spent for nothing. read more

My specialized hot water heater with the fancy fan went out over the weekend, of course I had an extended warranty for my home and of course, they said, "your warranty don't cover leaks or pumps", of course I was mad and one day has gone by with freezing cold water. They came out, replaced my hot water heater and last night I took a hot shower, it's the little things you lose sight of, but appreciate so much. The work was not perfect the first time and Bryan was there as soon as I called him to make sure and triple check (time consuming) that the leak was fixed. Bryant came to save us from our flooding kitchen sink at last minute notice. Suddenly one day our kitchen sink got clogged and water started to come up from the drain, leaking to the floor through our dishwasher. Thankfully, we were home to see it start leaking. We called Bryant and he helped us first stop the water coming up from the drain--by telling us it was due to our upstairs neighbors using the water, which we were then quick to tell them to stop--he sucked up the standing water in the sink and drain, and then used a snake to clear the clog. This was very discouraging. Never had an experience like this with a plumber. I did not get the sense that the persons who came were very focused on determining our problem - they looked at the water heater for one minute. I was explaining what had already happened. Out of the blue one said to me then "well if you want to argue with me" or something, when I was calmly explaining that I had asked them to come to find out what is wrong with our water heater. This just astonished me. At that point, I asked them to leave, of course. I think maybe they don't like dealing with women? Not sure. read more

Brian just finished his second service call with us. First was a few months back for a serious back-up to find out that the six year old sewer lateral was offset and creating the problem. Brian fixed the back-up and very clearly explained how the offset occurred. We were so impressed we called him back for a clogged sink and an official sewer lateral inspection to take to the original plumbing contractor. Bryan came out to our house to work on a clog. When he got there he could not reach the clog with the snake he brought so he didn't charge us for that visit, AND came back the next day. Spent HOURS trying to find a point he could get to it (our plumbing layout is arcane to put it mildly) ... eventually he had to cut a cap off to reach the clog that was so bad the snake couldn't touch it, he and his assitant manually pulled it out. They were crawling around for HOURS, and charged us a truly unreasonable (in our favor, not his ) price for all the work. I called him on a late saturday afternoon after my sink backed up and I tried to cleaned out the clean out drain and snake it with my neighbors help but it was still backed up.
