You get a free breadstick + marinara sauce through the website and 100% of the payment goes to the business (whereas Yelp takes some of the payment as commission). During pandemic times, I just couldn't stand the idea of another home cooked meal or the crap from Dominos, so I yelped for a good pizza and came across this one. I had never heard of it, but I will 100% order from there again. Pizza was fresh and delicious. What sealed the deal for me though was how appreciative the man who delivered was for our supporting a local business. It felt like I was doing a good deed by eating an amazing tasting pizza. I was having a huge craving for pasta but didn't want to spend a lot of money since I am a typical financially struggling college student. I went to this family owned Italian restaurant that I had been to one time before, and I'm so glad I did. The restaurant is very clean, food is delicious, and price is decent. The owner asked me questions about my university and major (I was wearing a shirt with its logo), was extremely nice and I even saw him offer a bag of goldfish to a young child at another table. Before I left he asked me if I had been there before, and when I said yes he graciously thanked me for supporting them. This is the reason I love family owned restaurants. I'm pretty new to Diamond Bar, and as a person of Italian heritage, I felt like a fish out of water when I first arrived. Lots of great Korean food but none of my comfort food spots. I ordered delivery from Mr. G's not really expecting much, but I was impressed! Their pizza crust is superb and their pastas are delicious! Even their salads are yummy. First of all, their staff is super nice. IMO NYC = thin crust pizza. Crispy on the bottom, but able to fold over. Their crust was thin, but bubbly? I've been to NY a few times and I don't recall a bubbly type of crust. Also, the crust tasted like it was brushed with garlic butter? I liked it a lot. Toppings and sauce were fresh. This place is a gem, I have ordered from here a few times for the office. The food is always delivered hot and its always very delicious. We have tried several different pastas and pizzas and have been satisfied every time. You can tell that it's a mom and pop operation from the great customer service they provide as well.
