Pizza, sausage subs, burgers and more pizza!

Best DAMN PIZZA IN NJ! The classic small town pizza joint everyone flicks to! Great menu! Great prices! The kind of place kids would go to after school and at lunchtime and be able to afford pizza and a soda and still have change left. This place has to be a national landmark. It's been here since I was a little kid. The prices haven't changed that much it seems too it's very affordable and the quality is incredible. Family owned and operated, real pizza chefs. Thank you Mr. Pizza Slice.

Very solid pizza place. Came here on an afternoon on the weekend and certainly enjoyed the pizza and garlic knots quite a bit! Price point is pretty par for the course and the specialtslice I had was really excellent. My friends and I really enjoyed our time here and I super enjoyed the marinara sauce for dipping, very tasty!

a whole pizza in a box

Ordered a pie with my contractor on thursday... The absolute worse Pizza I ever tasted in My Life.. It was delivered cold and like eating cardboard....got with half sausage...all of the sausage was off the pie into the corner of the Box........I have photos .....terrible... Will never ever order from them ever again..

What a dump. Every table was filthy. It was around 6:00 on a Friday night. Only one other table was occupied. Pizza was tasteless and extremely thin. Probably the worst pizza I have ever had. We were pressed with time and a guy from yestercades recommended this pizza place because it was right around the corner.

Their signature round fries = YUM!

Horrible slices. Paper thin and cheese just dropped off. Grease dripping down your arm.

Some of my first memories were eating a few bites of their good pizza and large hot dogs.

The coal fired wings with Gorgonzola sauce are also great. Would I give this place 5 stars if it was located in NYC? Probably not. For the Middletown area, though, it's the best.

Today my daughter wanted pizza. She's been away at school and said that good pizza is nonexistent in Florida, unless it's a chain like Dominos. So we searched and we found this small and clean place with good reviews and our very nice wait staff named Veronica. We had a quick lunch which consisted of a large margarita pie with vodka sauce. We also ordered triangle shaped fried mozzarella. The breading on the mozzarella as well as the sauce was very good. My daughter loved the pizza but I can't say I was a big fan of the vodka sauce. It was my first time having it. I prefer the margarita with tomato sauce and I think that's what I will order the next time that I visit again. I did love that the pie was thin crust, but it arrived a bit burnt. I'll have to request that my pie not arrive burnt. I will be returning to try other items.

Service was nice but you could definitely tell they were busy and possibly understaffed! You have to put your entire order all the once so make sure you read up on the menu ahead of time so you know what you want. The Red Bank location is decorated nicely, very intimate and is a BYOB. The menu is the same. Katelyn provided outstanding service. The food is very good. Red Sauce Italian and they do it well. The baked clams are my favorite. The eggplant rollatini is very good. The Spedini was less successful as they prepared it like Mozzarella en Carozza with the Anchovy caper sauce. The dish should be prepared as a loaf as opposed to a sandwich style. I will definitely add Via Sposito into my Italian rotation as the prices are reasonable, the service is excellent and the food is good. I will try their pizza next. Parking on the street in the off season is easy, during the summer parking can be very difficult. There is a garage within a 5 minute walk.

First of all, there was a little kids birthday party here and it was LOUD. This is clearly not the restaurant's fault but wow was it loud. I wish we could have sat outside but it was a bit chilly. We started with a 'Watermelon Mint Cooler' and 'Frozen Strawberry Margarita' - both were mocktails. They were both delicious and refreshing. My husband got the meatballs for his appetizer and I got the Caprese salad. He loved the appetizer and I loved mine. You cannot go wrong with Caprese salad in my opinion. For our entrees, he got the 'Bistecca alla Pizzaiola" which was a steak with tomato, garlic and red wine with potatoes. It was really good. The steak was very tender. I got the 'Ravioli Limoncello' which was Ravioli in a Lemon cream sauce. I am not a huge lemon fan but this was great. We ended with the 'Carrot Cake' and the 'Toasted Almond' cake - both were delicious as well. Everything was great. The service was quick, attentive and very friendly. I would definitely come back and would recommend. Next time though, I'm sitting outside if I see a big party though!

The 'Sweet Heat' pizza had sweet sopressata, goat cheese, mozzarella and hot honey. It was delicious! It had such the right amount of heat and sweet, plus it was super creamy. It was a thin crust and we got a medium size and the only downfall is I wanted more!!! The 'Coal Fired Wings' had nothing really wrong with them but after tasting them, I would have probably gotten something else. I've had the same type of wing from another place by my house and they were much better at the other place so I would have just preferred something else. They were still good, just not as good as the other place I've been to. The service was very quick and it looked nice inside but we ate outside so I can't really speak of what it was like inside. Overall, I enjoyed it and would be back!

The dessert came with plastic !!! spoons. What is this doing to the environment ???? Needless to say we left very disappointed. On our way out we noticed that all other tables hat "real" glasses, even for the water. Are we coming back? I do not think so. There are many great restaurants close to 2 River Theater.
