Based on everything that had happened, all signs pointed toward the alternator being the problem. Even the tow truck driver felt that was likely the issue. So when I brought it in, I was fully expecting to hear that I needed an alternator. Instead, Chris called me and told me that all I needed was a new battery. That might sound like a small thing, but to me, that says everything about the kind of person Chris is and the kind of business he's running. He could have easily told me I needed an alternator, and I wouldn't have questioned it. Instead, he was completely honest and only recommended what my van actually needed. Chris was not only professional, but incredibly compassionate, patient, and genuinely a pleasure to speak with. When you're dealing with a vehicle that has unexpectedly broken down, it's stressful enough. Having someone on the other end of the phone who treats you with kindness, explains what's going on, and doesn't make you feel like you're being taken advantage of makes all the difference. And then there's Dakota, the head mechanic. He seems to bring a good amount of knowledge and experience to the table, and it's obvious that he takes pride in his work. He was extremely polite, helpful, and professional throughout the process. At the same time, I was also in need of front brakes, rotors, and two new front tires. Because of Chris's honesty and how professional and personable he was over the phone, I had him take care of the entire job. He was able to get us in his shop within about 15 minutes. He put the car up in the lift and quickly diagnosed it as a heat shield that had fallen into the driveshaft. He fixed it in about 20 minutes and didn't want to charge us very much for the repair. We were so grateful at how quickly he was able to address the situation and get us back on the road towards home. I paid them for four new valve stems cause my original ones leaked leak tested this morning they are all leaking so they never changed the valve stems wasted 4 and half hours of my time and charged me $150 for some of the worst work I've ever seen. Don't waste your time here after speaking with their "technicians" it's pretty obvious drug testing isn't a requirement for employment here. I guess I'm insane for even going here lol. (Update) lug nuts on two wheels were hand tightened thank God I made it home this crosses the line from uneducated lazy workers to dangerous and unsafe practices. They ran an additional PS line instead of repair and replacing the original hose line leading to a line going to nowhere in the engine compartment. All in all, second rate,,, discounted car care. Prices were in line with others. But their lack of care and underperformance had me changing to others. A non recommend.
