The staff are very professional and attentive. We like to order the monthly special, this month is chateaubriand for two. For $125, this includes the steak, two sides and a dessert to share. The steak is so flavorful and tender, the server slices it right in front of your table before serving it to you on a cutting board. We shared roasted Brussel sprouts that were lightly drizzled with maple, I think. We also ordered the Mac n cheese which was very creamy and rich. I can't remember our waiter's name but he did a great job, i think it was Michael though (seen on my receipt) he was very friendly & made us feel welcomed. the meal came out to around $340, pricey, but we new what we were getting into and we think the meal was well worth it. i don't know the original price of the surf and turf, i just asked for the steak to be replaced with a ribeye, the total for my dish was $130 plus an extra $15 charge for "the catch of the day?" idk. but it was fine, i enjoyed my food, the steak was cooked well, the lobster was HUGE and soft as hell. Cool ambiance, very spacious with a traditional steakhouse vibe. Very clean, white linens and all staff wore gloves. FOOD - 5 stars. If I could give 10 stars I would! Everything was delicious and reasonably priced for a high end steakhouse. The Ceasar salad was served chopped with homemade croutons. Those croutons should be packaged and sold in bulk - one of the best Caesars I've had! My husband and I also shared the surf and turf special and crab chowder. We have come here many times. Unfortunately this time the steaks for us we're very dry and had no flavor. Everything else was good. Just disappointed to pay so much for a steak that wasn't that good. I've been to MRKT several times. This is the first time I can say that the food was absolutely horrible. My wife asked for her appetizer (shrimp cocktail) to come out first. It was forgotten, and she didn't get it until after she was served her main course. My wife also asked for her Prime Ribeye to be cooked medium. It was served beyond raw. It looked pretty gross, to be blunt. My father ordered fish. Zero flavor, and it was hard to eat around the burnt paper it was stuck to. I ordered the cheese burger, and it was horrible. A simple dish, that I assumed sat under a heat lamp way too long. I understand it was busy for Mother's Day. And the servers tried their best to make their patrons happy. But if the kitchen can't handle the volume, then the reservations should be kept to a minimum. As much as we love the restaurant, paying a high price for a horrible dinner is enough to prevent us from coming back. I'm sorry MRKT. We were guests of the hotel and we ate here on a Tuesday night. It has a cool vibe, sophisticated yet laid back. We ate at the bar. It took me a little while to get a drink but they have a good variety of draft beers and a good selection of liquor. I got a woodford old fashioned and it was delicious. I have a garlic allergy and they said they could make my salmon with no garlic with a side of asparagus. The rest of my party at the bar got their food and enjoyed their meals including steaks and the soups. It took me another 25 minutes to get my meal and the manager apologized to me as by the time my meal came everyone was done. Seems there was a mix up in the kitchen with my order. The salmon I had was really delicious and the asparagus was done perfectly. I would give this a 3.5 as the meal was delicious but the service was spotty. They did comp my meal which I appreciated. My parents frequent this steakhouse fairly often. I came with them for Father's Day. They were dead set on getting the tomahawk special they had available. I didn't have a date so I painfully ordered a ribeye alllll to myself knowing I can't finish it. We also ordered mashed potatoes, both sautéed and creamed spinach, and a sweet potato. Now, in the few times I've eaten here there isn't one thing I haven't liked or returned. The meat isn't exactly prime quality but it is perfectly delicious. The service here is top notch.. always. The food is great, but it's very salty so if you're looking for your cardio health, you may want to ask the server to tell the cook to not put any salt in your food. So my wife and I have been coming here for 10 plus years and I believe over the past year the quality of food has deteriorated greatly. I use to not have to return food but over the past 12 months I have probably returned food 10 times and we use to go there at least twice a month. We started going back to the Carve aka Waverly's and find the food there much better. Service at both restaurant's is great as we have waiters we request who know us. We have also noticed that when we do eat out at the Market my spouse has stomach issues the next day, but not at the Carve or other restaurant's, wonder what it might be? The most recent change is how they provide bread to the table, which is stupid, as it is stale. The other change is the desert tray, really you need to show off your deserts...try ensuring your regular food is up to par instead of trying to rely on merchandising gimmicks. This is one of the best fine dining experiences I've had in Vegas in the last 4 years. Staff takes pride in their service, genuinely kind and prompt. Waiters know the menu very well and everything was perfectly prepared. MRKT doesn't generally disappoint with the quality of the food. My wife and I have eaten there two times now. We started with fresh oysters. Most excellent. However, their calamari was overcooked almost to the point of being burned. Previously, I had scallops for my main dish, which were delicious, but this last visit I "settled" for their shrimp scampi with angel hair pasta. It was very average. My wife ordered steaks both times, and they were seasoned and cooked flawlessly. She left a happy patron. My issue is their price point. I get it that the restaurant is inside a casino and that hikes up the price, but it's not that good for what they charge. We may return, but probably not. read more

I haven't been to Aliante in a million years. My hubby and I had a rare weekend with no responsibilities and so decided a date night was in order. I'm so glad we decided to try MRKT. We managed to get a same day reservation nice and early. We ordered their surf n turf, Alaskan king crab legs, asparagus, a sweet potato, beef carpaccio, classic wedge salad, AND strawberry cheese cake. Every single component of this meal was cooked to perfection. I'm not a huge fan of the filet (normally) but this one melted in my mouth and the lobster was WAY bigger than expected. The crab was perfect and sliced open so all I had to do was scoop it out with my fork and enjoy. The place decor is beautiful. Nice intimate place to go on a date. We were seated right away at 7pm which was our reservation time. Joseph our waiter was phenomenal. We started off with some drinks, and got the oysters and calamari. The calamari was just okay, but the oysters tasted fresh. I really enjoyed them. We ordered the ribeye steak and 1.5 lbs of the Alaskan king crab legs. The steak was amazing! Cooked perfectly with this mushroom brown gravy and the mashed potatoes. Everything melted in my mouth. The king crabs were cut in half and was easy to eat which I loved. My date got a creme brûlée and loved it. A little pricey, but you get what you pay for. Hubby and I went there a few nights ago for date night. That's rare for us these days with young kids. Nonetheless, the meal was ok. I didn't hate it, but I also didn't love it. We ordered the calamari and baked oysters for appetizers. We both had bone-in ribeyes. I had a better cut than my husband's. Although both were ordered medium well, his steak was a lot tougher compared to mine. We got a garlic cilantro sauce that came with the steak. I felt like that saved the steak as far as flavor goes. The Yukon gold mashed potatoes were tasty. As was the grilled asparagus. I added a 5oz lobster tail and my husband add jumbo grilled shrimp. Both were fine. Lastly we had crème brûlée and NY style cheesecake for dessert, which were both good. I would've liked a better server. He seemed uninterested most of the time. Did his job, but certainly no more. There was another server who brought our food out and he had much more flair, which could've made our visit more enjoyable. It was our first time dining here. Prices were commensurate with the quality of the meal. I had the bone in ribeye, which was served in this butter/garlic/cilantro sauce which was amazing. Wife had some prosciutto wrapped scallops on rice and some pesto on the side. We both started off with some great French Onion Soup. I had a cocktail, (A Moscow mule that was made to perfection).
