Formerly Silver Lake Ramen at the Veranda service was quick, cashier was very nice. Loved the seats were under the heat lamps as it was freezing that night. Ordered the rice plate with pork belly and spicy chicken. The rice was very overcooked and quite mushy. Which made the fattiness of the pork belly a really bad bite. The dressing on the green salad was really good. The Mac salad was lacking flavor. The Gyoza had a porky flavor that wasn't appealing at all.

I have been sitting here waiting for someone for 15 minutes I've seen 5 customers walk away - no one at the window but claim to be open - a sign of some sort would be helpful if away - we really wanted to try this place and drove 45 minutes.

The pho and fried rice were delicious, but I didn't enjoy the Korean hot dog, which i ordered out of curiosity. Our order takes a little time because it's prepared fresh and served hot. We'll come back and try some different food from the menu. It's a cute little to-go food place.

Mrs. Pho is a great little shop they you may not notice at first. Mrs Pho is located in the Veranda shopping center with only outside seating. The location is specifically next to pop bar and the children play structure. It's a great stop for a quick meal or snack while the kids play. The cashier was friendly and efficient. Whole I didn't have any questions, she did help the family before me with some small questions about the options and what they're made out of. My spouse and I ordered the King Pho and the House Pho. Both were excellent and had a nice flavor profile. The star anise was present and added the right amount of balance. The meat from both were very tender and tasty. They were out of basil which was unfortunate but reasonable on an extremely busy day. The only downside was that seating is limited and we had to sit next to the cotton candy machine which was less than enjoyable with an almost constant line of kids/teens/families who would gather on both sides of the table and ask to use our table to hold their stuff while they get cotton candy or record videos of it.

I've only ever had Mrs. Pho brought to me, so I've never gotten to see what the inside looks like. BUT! The pictures on Yelp make it look cute. What I do know, is that they have an amazing vegan pho! It comes with a veggie broth, tofu, & tons of veggies: broccoli, cabbage, carrot, green onion, white onion, jalapeño, lime, bean sprouts, bell pepper, & cilantro. I topped it off with sriracha & it was to die for!

Food tasted great here ! Tasty and hot pho but unfortunately I can't say the same about the service. Arriving to the restaurant there was no greeting back just a cold blank stare by cashier. There were no thank yous or you're welcome. It feels like you're ordering from a robot or something. Pho is good just not the customer service.

Went here by accident. My daughter was at Dave n busters and I was like not staying here! Walked over to see a few businesses and decided this was it. Strips were flavored and fries the good thick's ones. Egg rolls were yummy. It's a little spot u can eat outside and enjoy while getting fresh air. I'll for sure go back.

First time trying this small pho spot at Veranda. I got the Spicy pho and it's actually not bad at all. I enjoyed it and it was satisfying to me. The chili was pretty spicy that they put in. The service was ok, the lady that took our order didn't seem like she was happy to be there so that minus a star. I'd like to try other food next time to see if my review will increase. The 3 star is for the pho itself.

First of all, parking in the Veranda is always terrible on the weekend because there are so many people. If you can walk, park farther out or good luck trying to find something close by. This restaurant replaced the ramen place that used to be here and I may like this pho place better. I really wanted to try the king pho because I was curious about the big beef rib, but I got the spicy pho instead since it had more meat and I love spicy. Well, I guess my spice tolerance has gotten lower because on top of the broth being literally hot, the spice was pretty up there. My boyfriend also got the spicy pho and he was sweating LOL unfortunately, it was hard for me to actually taste the flavor of the broth because the spice was overpowering. I liked that there was shrimp, fish balls, meatballs, and brisket, but I thought it was all was a bit overcooked. The other thing with this place is you're not gonna get all of the side sauces that you would normally get at any other pho place. They just give you the hoisin sauce and I believe it's sriracha in tiny containers (not sure if it was sriracha but that's what it looked like). My boyfriend's aunt got the spring rolls, which we tasted and I thought was ok. The peanut sauce was a little watery. His dad got the chicken rice bowl, which we thought was actually pretty good. I liked the chicken because it had light breading but enough to be crispy on the outside. The sauce they put on the bowl was good too. Their portion sizing is pretty big so I'd say it's worth it for the price. I'd like to come back to try the classic or king pho. lol

This lady made a face at me when I told her the customer service sucked.

I have a hard time with people who are rude to children and are so cheap they couldn't bare lose out on the cost of giving a child a napkin. The manager was rude and lacked customer service. Not sure why this is in an area where children play if they don't like children. I recommend eating at better locations at the Veranda

Excellent taste! Fresh ingredients. I can't attest to the customer service because my order was sent to me by my sister. I am home sick with Covid. The dish opened up my sinus and made my tastebuds tingle!!! I will order again when I am feeling better so I can truly enjoy. Can't wait to try the other dishes!

If you blink, you might miss it. Service is still 10/10! This time around, I ordered a hot matcha latte, and honestly, I wasn't expecting much (let's be real, some places can mess up matcha). But surprise, surprise -- it actually tasted like real matcha! It was delicious! For my meal, I tried the cowboy scramble, which I swear was everything but the kitchen sink tossed in a pan. It was hearty, satisfying, and totally hit the spot. The only hiccup? The melted butter they used on the toast had a weird aftertaste. I can't quite explain it -- like if butter went to a weird party and came back a little off. But hey, it didn't ruin the whole meal, just a little side note. All in all, I'm into the new look, and I'll definitely be back for that legit matcha latte and hefty scramble!

I originally went out looking for a sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich and Googled "good breakfast…read morenear me." This spot came up, and although my wife and I have driven past it many times, we've never stopped in. Today, I decided to finally give it a try. After looking through the Google photos, I changed my mind and ordered a breakfast plate instead of a sandwich. Parking was a little challenging. I arrived around 11:00 a.m. and had to circle the block a few times before finding a spot directly in front of the diner. When I walked in, I wasn't sure whether I should seat myself or wait to be seated. All of the waitresses appeared busy, so I stood near the entrance. Once she was available, Marianna greeted me. Initially, I wasn't a fan of being asked whether I was picking up food rather than whether I was dining in or taking out, but I quickly realized they may be accustomed to regular customers who already know the process. Since it was my first visit, I explained that I wasn't sure if I should seat myself. Personally, I think a sign near the entrance would be helpful for first-time guests. Since I was dining alone, I chose a seat at the counter and ordered the Sugar Plum Special with cheese grits and sourdough toast. While waiting for my food, I noticed something that concerned me. The staff did not appear to be wearing gloves, and I observed food being handled after touching various surfaces, including condiments, plates, glasses, and trash areas. While I understand that food service relies heavily on proper handwashing practices, I personally felt uncomfortable watching bread being handled directly by hand. I requested that my toast be handled with a utensil instead, and my request was accommodated without issue. When my food arrived, my eggs were cooked exactly as requested--scrambled hard--and the bacon was perfectly crispy. The bacon was a little saltier than I personally prefer, but that's more about my taste than the preparation. Overall, both items were flavorful. Now, let's talk about the grits. I come from a strong Southern background, and we take our grits seriously. The presentation was fantastic. The butter melting on top and the cheese looked absolutely perfect. Unfortunately, the texture wasn't there on the first serving. The grits were noticeably gritty and undercooked. After a couple of bites, I sent them back and requested they be cooked a bit longer. One of the waitresses explained that customers typically need to request the grits "well done." That was surprising to me because I've always believed grits should naturally be cooked until smooth and creamy. In my opinion, that's how they're meant to be served. Thankfully, the second batch was much better. While they still could have been stirred a bit more, the texture improved significantly and was much closer to what I expected. I also want to recognize Marianna for her excellent service. She was accommodating, attentive, and handled my concerns professionally throughout the meal. Overall, I would return. The restaurant has a warm, family-oriented atmosphere and an old-school diner feel that is becoming harder to find these days. It reminded me of the kind of place you'd visit after church on a Sunday morning or somewhere you'd go with your grandparents for a comforting home-cooked meal. While there were a few areas that could be improved, the welcoming environment and friendly service left a positive impression on me.

I think, Min's has the best presentation for take out, literally! It doesn't look like much, but it was exactly what you want for breakfast. Jose Omelet: 10/10 it has spinach, mushroom and apple sausage with cheese. I have never came across a place with an omelet with everything I love in an omelet without having to customize it. I literally cleaned my plate. Biscuit and gravy: 10/10 they give you 3 biscuits and gravy on the side. Biscuits were super fluffy and the gravy its self was seasoned perfectly. I always add extra pepper to mine and it was a hit for myself and my husband. Chicken Fried Steak: 10/10 my husband alwayssss gets CFS and he has stated this the best he's had because the gravy was made perfectly. I think to make your CFS taste great, the gravy has to match that energy, and it did! There is sausage in the gravy, but its like bits of sausage smashed down to the perfect bits of sausage with gravy ratio frls. Overall: 10/10 I think if they continue to make their gravy perfectly and the portions enough to make you perfectly full, this place is going to be better than great. We will be coming here and we will be trying everything on their menu.

We were given menus right after being seated and the waitress came back a few minutes later. I'd say service was friendly and the food came out pretty fast. This is what we ordered: * Organic beet salad with ranch dressing, $13 - delicious and refreshing salad with romaine, sliced beets, avocado chunks, grape tomatoes, nuts, sliced red onions, and feta cheese. I chose ranch and thought it paired well with the salad. * Fish and chips, $16.95 - 5 crispy battered cod (tasted like cod to me) pieces with plenty of French fries and a side of tartar sauce and lemon wedges. My mom liked how the batter was thin and crispy. The fish pieces were a little smaller than my hands. * Very berry waffle, $15.95 - soft waffle with blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, and strawberries dusted with powdered sugar and came with syrup on the side. The berries were sweet and the waffle was very tasty with syrup on top. * Sweet potato fries, $5.95 - crispy outside and soft inside. I love sweet potato fries and theirs were delicious. I ate it with ketchup, ranch, hot sauce, and tartar sauce. The portions were pretty big so my mom and I split everything. We ended up taking some fries home. The reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is because I found a hair in one of the containers of ranch that came with the salad, I thought the fries tasted a bit stale and dry when they were cold, and I wish the waffle came with butter and wish it was a little more crispy. Overall, I did enjoy my lunch here and my mom and I would come back! I'd try one of the omelettes next time.
