Lemongrass chicken spring roll Vermicelli 20$

Love this place the service was wonderful. The other night I ordered their beef pho. The broth was really good and although it was a little in the higer end at $20 the Pho was delicious and they were so nice to bring it out to me as I was at yhe bar enjoying a beer. Ill continue to come here delicious food, great vibes and friendly service!

Ms. Nguyen Banh Mi & Rolls offers Chicken Pho, aka phò gà ( I have jokes bit I won't go there, especially when I don't have the proper punctuation), which is a bit unusual as most pho shops are beef bone broth based. I briefly spoke with the owner - she mentioned the chicken pho has a lighter broth - and she was quite pleasant. Food came 5-7 minutes after a walk-up order. It's been awhile since I've had a chicken bone broth pho. It is almost as good as the beef and lighter as previously mentioned. Generous with the accoutrements. Also, got an Iced Vietnamese Coffee. Adequate...it's a bit labor/time-intensive to make it to order. But it's like an iced blended coffee milkshake...whether it's from a corporate chain or not...adequate is still pretty good. Strong and sweet. Worth looking at a bahn mi on my next visit. Located near the k park bar in Midtown Eats Food Hall.

This little pho spot is tucked away in the food court under the condo building. You honestly can't beat the convenience as it's just an elevator ride down and you've got a hot pho that'll be out in less than 10 minutes. Perfect for those lazy nights when you don't feel like going far but still want something really good. It's in a food court so service is rather fast! The pho itself was on point. Super flavorful broth, fresh ingredients, and a generous portion that definitely hits the spot. I can already tell this is going to be a regular go-to for me.

Ms. Nguyen Banh Mi & Rolls is a food vendor at the Midtown Eats food hall offering a variety of Banh mi sandwiches and rolls with a limited offering of Pho and Bún. Midtown Eats is located at The Park Keeaumoku condos. Validated parking is available in the parking structure from Liona and Rycroft St. with purchase. This food stall is on the makai side of the food hall--across the bar. No dedicated seating area - just order and sit where you like. We ordered the Saigon Special Banh Mi. What's in it? Who knows. Nothing is noted on their menu, but it looked like pork roll, pate, pork belly, and a slice of ham with the usual pickled carrot and radish, cucumber and cilantro. The portion was good and beautifully prepared in the middle. The bread was all right. Crisp outside, but a little dense inside. I don't believe there was any Mayo or butter on the bread and the pork roll and belly ate like they were just boiled to done. The pickled vegetables were quite tame. Overall, the Banh Mi was overall on the bland and light side. It was meaty, simple and straightforward. It just needed some fat to bring everything together. Service was as expected when it's a little busy. The sandwich didn't take too long. (The higher) Prices are the same as other restaurants. Sad we're getting in the $20 range for a bowl of Pho.

This was the first time coming to the restaurant. I love all the availability to order in one kiosk. But we did order at the counter with great service. The man was so helpful and smiling and pleasant here. The food is over the top tasty. Very clean area to eat at. Air conditioned. And comfortable.

The food was delicious especially the tofu bahn mi. The bread was slightly crisp and fresh. The chicken pho was also good and a nice selection instead of beef. Shrimp rolls were crispy and tasty. As for the Vietnamese Coffee it was strong and perfect to kick start our day. Service and ambiance were great. Definitely thumbs up!

Ordered the Vietnamese BBQ pork spring rolls with vermicelli and it was so fresh and flavorful. The BBQ pork had a really nice smoky sweetness, and it paired perfectly with the light vermicelli noodles and crisp vegetables. The spring rolls were packed with fresh herbs and lettuce, and the rice paper was soft without being too sticky. Everything tasted really balanced and refreshing. The dipping sauce tied it all together with that perfect sweet and savory flavor. Overall, a super satisfying dish that felt light but still really filling. Great option if you want something fresh, flavorful, and classic Vietnamese. I'd definitely order this again.

We've been here twice, and the experiences were mixed. On the first visit, we ordered the rare steak pho and grilled pork summer rolls, and both were underwhelming. The pho broth tasted thin. More like warm water with a faint hint of beef bone and star anise and the portion size was small especially for $21.50. There are definitely better pho options in Chinatown for both flavor and value. The summer rolls were generously sized, but the pork itself lacked seasoning and depth of flavor. On our second visit, we shared the Saigon Special bánh mì, which fared a much bette. I asked the staff behind the counter and he said it came with Vietnamese ham, pâté, and pork belly. When I opened the sandwich, there was only one small slice of pork belly. In any case, the sandwich itself was tasty. The baguette was fresh/flaky, and the pâté added a nice richness. Didn't taste any mayo or butter. I always want to support local businesses but there are better values out there for Vietnamese food. Happy eating! 18

Early dinner in Honolulu, Hawaii... I brought my friends to this new Food Hall: Midtown Eats at The Park on Keeaumoku and they chose to patronize Ms. Nguyen Bahn Mi & Rolls while I got my meal elsewhere. Honestly... I looked at their food with envy... Their Bahn Mi and Summer Rolls looked delicious. I had to go back and get some for myself... haha! I went on my own a few days later and parked in the structure... The entrance is on Liona Street. It's free right now because it's Soft Opening. Later, they will validate for 2 hours. Service was very friendly, efficient, and helpful! The environment is clean and spacious in the shared space. The bright lighting air conditioning, and ramps for wheelchairs and strollers are much appreciated The restroom is at the end of the Food Hall. I ordered the "Shrimp Rolls". They were fresh and filling! I poured the savory dipping sauce on the ends as I bit them. Yum! I look forward to returning!

Note: This is a soft opening review from a very limited menu. New Vietnamese eatery inside Midtown Eats food hall. A single banh mi sampled but from that alone, it's good in a local Vietnamese way. Fresh baked baguette, crisp but not cut the roof of your mouth crisp with good chewy internal texture. Well marinated veg, deeply marinated BBQ pork, fresh cilantro, lacking jalapeno. Solid but will not topple the best on the island, Le's. A "Saigon" and dry curry chicken banh mi, three rolls and a chicken pho also available at the time of writing. Fair prices. Extremely friendly service even offering to have our meal sent to the bar so we could get some drinks and watch the game. On first try, solid.

Located in midtown eats, a food hall. There are many open tables and restaurants you can order from using a kiosk and pick up at the counter. It's open seating so you can sit wherever you want. We ordered a lemongrass chicken banh mi and added avocado. It was flavorful and surprisingly filling. I love the spice from the jalapeños and the pickled vegetables are always good! I will be back for more!

heard there's a new banh mi in town and had to check it out. They're located in the Midtown Eats, handful of eateries were open in this food hall. My favorite banh mi is nearby, so will this place be able to top it. Ordered the Saigon Special with the friendly worker. Took about 5 minutes or so. Was able to walk nearby to another stall to get juices, and when i came back the sandwich was ready. The bread is crispy. There were cilantros, pickled carrots and daikon, cucumber, and lettuce, with pate, and the meats. Interesting. First time I ever anyone put lettuce in a banh mi. But my heart and taste bud is still calling out to my favorite place. Noticed a lot of lunch diners were having pho. Will be back to try that.

Free parking. New building. Clean kitchen. The grilled pork sandwich was good! And the cashier was very nice!

I heard they will keep this space for special events. The restaurant is quite busy and I'm glad we had reservations. Good thing I was there prior to lunch hour opening, otherwise we may lose our reservations since the person who made reservations tends to be habitual in arriving late. We dined in May, but it's been awhile since I first dined here. I preferred dining in Chinatown during lunch time than at dinner. Our waiter was really nice and helpful. I forgot his name, but I remembered that his eyeglasses that he wore was cool/funny, since the frames for each eye didn't match the other eye! lol. Funny it wasn't me who first noticed it. One was square frame and the other was a round frame! The restaurant doesn't do anything special for birthdays except may write Happy Birthday in chocolate on the dessert plate that you purchase for the birthday person. Their desserts are unique and refreshing. I think there are some rotating desserts /flavors like their seasonal menu for their main menu. I guess you can always keep coming back without being bored of the menu! I was bummed to see a previous dish posted of a pasta that I wanted to try that wasn't on the current spring seasonal menu! When we dined for brunch over the weekend, I was able to get the Hainan chicken with the crispy roast pork combo. It was very filling , tasty and satisfying. I do love ginger sauce on the cold ginger chicken but sometimes the chicken is just okay. This Hainan chicken was really good and the chicken was really moist! I thought it was the best I've tried! It was good that I wanted to takeout one last time in August before they moved! No more the 50/50 combo with the crispy roast pork on the lunch menu during the weekday. It was on the spring menu. Of course it's best to eat it in the restaurant than for take out. Bathroom is a must for me when dining out and they had only one shared bathroom for everyone! There was a guy who tried to make several attempts but wasn't successful, since there was always someone in the restroom. I'm glad the waiter told me there was a bigger separate bathroom with several stalls for men and ladies upstairs. You go straight through the kitchen to catch the elevator and to another kitchen /storage area! Thank Goodness! Best wishes at your new location. You offer yummy and tasty food!

I'm usually more of a spring roll person, but these were so good and something I'd definitely order again. I had the brisket pho, and my boyfriend got the beef and flank pho. Both were delicious, and the broth was flavorful and comforting. I'm pretty particular about Thai tea, but theirs is always really good. The restaurant is small and fills up quickly. The service is always good and the food comes out fast. If you're in the Aiea area and looking for a solid pho spot, Pho Time is worth a visit!

While the servers were nice, we did order ahead of time and showed up when the Beluga app (where we ordered off of) told us to show up, but I ended up waiting 15 minutes at the restaurant later than I was supposed to get my food. Additionally, the staff seemed to forget I was sitting/waiting for my food. My suspicion is that the online ordering service isn't actively monitored and our order wasn't started until I actually showed up to the restaurant to pick up our food at the designated time. The food was okay for us. I'm a big Banh Mi fan and was looking forward to eating their Combination Banh Mi, but unfortunately the Banh Mi seemed a little rushed in preparation and lacked flavor. My husband on the other hand, ordered their Combination Pho and it absolutely did not disappoint. Although their Banh Mi was not as delicious and flavorful as I expected, their Pho was the exact opposite of that. They give you a generous amount of broth and their portions of greens was beyond enough (maybe a little bit too much for one serving). The last food item to talk about are their Spring Rolls. It wasn't anything too special compared to your usual Spring Rolls, but I will say that their dipping sauce and everything else that comes with it (rice noodles, cucumbers, cabbage, carrots) made it so that you could easily make it a meal vice an appetizer. If you're looking for a cozy place to have dinner, their space was a bit crowded but if you're okay with then this place is good. Just be warned that their prices are a little bit on the higher side in my opinion and be prepared for long wait times to receive your order.
