We came here for dinner one night. The place gets busy so here there early. We were a group of 8 and sat at picnic table outside and it was a little tight. Service was good. I had the blue crabs. They were delicious!! Good flavor and lots of meat. They took a while to break open and they didn't rush us. The only thing is we asked for another metal cracker to open our shells and they told us only one per table.

Food and drinks were great!!! It was busy and they all did a great job!! Definitely will come back again.

    - Quick seating: we checked in with the hostess for a table for two around 6pm on a Saturday night without a reservations and were seated within 15 minutes. - Outdoor seating it down steps and not easily accessible if you have mobility issues or if you have a stroller. - Staff was quick and attentive and our orders were taken and food arrived within 15 minutes. - Steamed shrimp were small and not deveined. - The corn that comes with the meals was not good. I think they cooked all of the corn earlier in the day and let them sit in the wet husks for hours until they became soggy and inedible. The meal wasn't terrible, however for the price, the quality didn't meet my expectations.

Although I did enjoy this delicacy entree. I would have to technically rate it a 7.5/10. The seasoning was more on the saltier side. Also, the bread could have been more softer when it comes to re-heating. Other than that I still have to respect this beauty and pay homage to the seafood gods.

I can't say enough good stuff about the VEGAN options. Vegan crabcake, vegan fish and chips, and vegan shrimp cocktail were also awesome. Even vegan tartar sauce. (The shrimp is eerily realistic) + the corn is vegan as a side (no butter or anything) Our server was great and knowledgeable about vegan options and even the origin of the vegan menu. We sat outside and it was nice with the breeze from the ocean. So grateful to have these very legit vegan options in an otherwise dead zone.

The customer service was good, and the crab dip was fantastic. Unfortunately, the rest of the meal was underwhelming.

Small inside but they make it work. The bathrooms are sooooo tiny but we're clean. We sat inside as it was going to rain and was dark and cold. We went off season beginning of May. Waitress was super sweet and brought over another corn for my daughter as she dropped hers. The seafood we got was yummy. Just the calms we're so Over cooked they were tiny and hard.

Love their steamed shrimp and crabs! I get shrimp every time I go and it's the only place towards the end of the boardwalk that you can get md crab. I like the divey feel and staff is always friendly.

So glad this place offers vegan options!!! I can't give it 5 stars because as a vegan it's kind of an intense experience with people hitting their crabs with hammers and cracking them open. I don't begrudge people eating what they want but it's just that crab eating like lobster eating and crawfish eating is... objectively, I think, kinda... gross. They offer konjac vegan shrimp in a number of options. I had the shrimp cocktail and I gotta say the cocktail sauce was BOMB! It was full of flavor and nice spiciness! They offer Gardein fish fillets which are pretty delicious. I had fishless and chips, my wife had fishless tacos. It was pretty tasty. Daughter had a decent beyond burger but was bummed there weren't any pickles available. All in all good vegan food on the OC boardwalk is great!

Great food and great service. Seating is tight outside, but we dont mind it. Food was excellent and service was stellar!

See the kernels are bigger and the corn is dull which is also an indication of feed corn

Now, 50 years later, Phillips is gone and many establishments advertise their Crabs as the best in OC. Having not been here since 2012, I need to scour the reviews to find where we could get the best take out seafood especially Maryland Crabs. Lo and behold, just steps away from our Courtyard Marriott is the Crab Stop. It's before season so many places are still closed but the Owner answered when I called, had a great sense of humor, and happily took my order for a designated pick up time. We arrived 10 minutes early and they had just completed the order, packed it up, and we were out the door in minutes. This is a Father/Son establishment. Dave (?) the Father is 85 and his son Tom (?) run this fine eatery. It's built for take out and there is no disappointment. We ordered 6 large crabs, 1# of Lump Crab and 2 ears of corn. Within minutes our table was covered with crab, crab shells, Old Bay, and we savored every minute of the delicious fresh sweet crab meat. Look no further than Crab Stop to enjoy the best crabs that OC has to offer and the friendliness and service of these two gentlemen.

Operating out of a building that has served as Ocean City's oldest continually operating sub shop location since circa 1950, it officially opened as Belly Busters Seafood and Deli in 1985 under owner Scott and his family. Over the decades, it has grown into a beloved local institution where you can walk straight off the beach in board shorts to grab a cold beer, crack open fresh seafood, or order a massive sub. The Food & Standout Dishes Steamed Crabs: True to its coastal roots, Belly Busters sources heavy, fat blue crabs from Maryland waters when in season (and top regional bayous off-season). Steamed to order with heavy Old Bay seasoning, they're available for dine-in or via their popular local crab delivery service. Blackened Mahi & Fish Tacos: Among their most famous specialties, the fish tacos feature blackened or fried fish piled high with house-made pico de gallo, fresh cabbage, New York spicy cheddar, and a signature cream sauce. The blackened mahi tacos in particular are a fan favorite for their bold Cajun kick. Overstuffed Sandwiches & Subs: True to its name, the portion sizes are huge. Their ribeye cheesesteaks, house-cooked meats, and fresh seafood salads--like the lump crab cake and jumbo shrimp salad subs--are packed generously on toasted rolls. Accolades & Reputation Belly Busters consistently earns spots on Best of Ocean City lists, routinely capturing awards and editorial picks in competitive categories like Best Carry-Out, Best Subs, and Best Fresh Seafood/Tuna. Rob and Rose greeted and welcomed us. We ordered the Medium steamed Crabs, Crab Cake Sandwich, Crab Bisque, corn on the cob and Hush Puppies. Wow! What a treat so early in the season. The Bisque was excellent. It's not too spicy but they give you extra seasoning and spice to add according to your personal taste. The Crab Cake was just as advertised. No filler, fresh Crab, Eastern Shore style and delicious. The medium crabs were very good. Some establishments would be seeking them as Large. They were seasoned and steamed perfectly. Heavy and sweet. The sides; Corn on the Cob, steamed in the Husk was very good and the Hush Puppies were a perfect pairing. My apologies for lack of pictures, we ate most everything before I started taking pictures. Rob and Rose were very attentive. They told us their story and shared a scrap book of their off season home in New Mexico. They were in the process of training and orienting their summer staff while we enjoyed our meal. The attention to detail, customer first, quality service and passion for excellent food was on full display. The dining is beach rustic and perfect. There's a good amount of parking and it's easy to find them right along coastal highway. What initially seemed like a disappointment today turned into a wonderful discovery of a new favorite. On The Bay Seafood is a must try if you're at the shore this year.

We ordered the seafood combo that included six hard-shell crabs, three pounds of snow crab legs, a half-pound of shrimp, corn, and hush puppies. The hard-shell crabs were decent, although they seemed slightly oversteamed. The meat in the legs was practically fused to the shell, making them difficult to eat. The snow crab legs were good, but the shrimp were noticeably undercooked, which made peeling them nearly impossible. There were a few bright spots. The beer was reasonably priced at $4.50 a pint, and the hush puppies were excellent--arguably the best part of the entire meal. The corn, however, was tough and seemed past its prime. For the roughly $145 we spent on the combo, I expected a better overall dining experience. Sadly, this seems to be the standard at many seafood restaurants these days: higher prices without a corresponding increase in quality. And while it's a minor issue compared to the food, the deck seating chairs were surprisingly uncomfortable and felt out of place for a restaurant charging these prices. Overall, the meal wasn't terrible, but it fell well short of expectations given the cost.
