Really good food, service, and bowling. The bathrooms are basically any public bathroom. The whole place is just nice and well priced.

The food is generally delicious! It's a nice small bowling alley, the bowling game computers are really dated though!

Clearwater restaurant came highly recommended and now I know why!…read more With beautiful view of the pier and sea and fishing and tour boats passing by, but most of all the sea lions located just in-front of the restaurant. Besides the view the food is exceptionally fresh and delicious, I ordered the New Seafood platter so I could try a lot of different items on the menu. The chilled Dungeness crab was very good and tasty. No need to add anything! The fresh shucked oysters were tasty and fresh and clean. The crab dip was exceptionally good with chucks of crab meat to eat with the fried won ton chips & crackers. The ceviche was okay and also the spicy shrimp salad. The clam chowder was very good and flavorful and it was okay on the thicker side, came out nice and hot not warm. My wife had the Halibut & garlic fries which the French fries were very tasty and crispy and the halibut was great with a lightly breaded batter. Service was great and waiter was friendly Restroom they have 1 on the 1st floor and another one on the 2nd floor to be shared by both men & women. Restroom was clean only thing with the amount of customers they can accommodate you most likely have to wait to use the restroom. Entrance is about 4 steps to enter with hand rail on one side, did not see a wheelchair accessible ramp. Pets are allowed. We saw couple of retrievers seating outside with their owners.

Went to celebrate a friends birthday and we had a great experience. Service was good and the food was excellent. View is outstanding. We had clams for an appetizer. Very good solid clams and tasty broth. They could serve a little more garlic toast to soak up that yummy broth. Had their Rave pasta, the wagyu tenderloin and the ling cod. All dishes were very good and would recommend. Wine prices were quite reasonable, as was the food. TR was one of my parents favorites as they visited Depot Bay a lot back in the 90-2000's. Was fun to think about that with the dinner tonight.

If you want a window seat - make a reservation- which we did not have but was grateful they could seat us. As for service, a restaurant of this caliber should have someone filling water glasses and taking empty plates out of our way if the waitress is going to pass you constantly and not notice. That said we would definitely eat here again, lots more on the menu we would like to try. He suggested we have a sampling taste of the soups of the day before ordering. We settled on two different cups of soup. Then ordered our entrees. One was a basic hamburger plain with just bacon. The person who ordered it said it was the best tasting burger he ever had. I ordered the bouillabaisse that had shrimp. Scallops, crab, and a wonderful piece of Halibut. The sauce was extremely tasty. Another entree sautéed oysters. Everything was outstanding. We don't stop and ordered desserts that our waiter suggested. It was just a fantastic experience.

Upon returning this year, I looked forward to another great meal there. I was surprised to find that Side Bar Cafe has changed quite a bit from what I remembered. In the past the restaurant used only the southern part of the building it's in, with maybe 16 tables, which created a warm and quiet atmosphere suitable for a date night. I was surprised to find that they have expanded to include many more tables and a second bar in the adjoining space, which was formerly rarely used, seemingly only for random entertainment events. This created a busier and noisier environment, which I didn't enjoy as much. The list of food and beverages on the menu is much greater than in that distant past. From what I could tell from one visit the food is just as good as it was, but the place felt more crowded and the service was more rushed due to the volume of guests, and the noise level was definitely higher. I will go again on my next visit to the area, but my fond expectations will have changed.

First, it was noticed that you are no longer able to make reservations unless it is a party of 7 or more. That was unusual and thought the cause sure to peak summer travel. Secondly, there was no bread service, initially mistaken as an oversight then realized it was no longer offered. Third, the appetizer always ordered the seafood fondue was cool. In the past, it was piping hot served in a chafing style manner. While the chafing was there, in no way was that to get it to a piping hot temperature as served previously. Lastly, the dessert, again a staple when at Georgie's the Marionberry cobbler changed from previous offerings. Overall, Georgie's has a special place, however, the changes concern the level of quality menu items. I hope this feedback helps as Georgie's has been a gem for years and one of a kind on the coast. it would be very disappointing to see a downward level of food quality and service. The views are amazing; however, it did not pair with quality food and great service it would be no different than any other locale with ocean views.
