A must-stop if you're visiting San Diego. This is a a staple of culture and community with delicious beer + micheladas and NA options too! Many nights you can find a variety of events happening like poetry, paint, cooking classes and Spanish club! Definitely worth a visit!

Did you know women were the original brewers of beer? At Mujeres Brew House, that legacy is alive and thriving! This 100% female-owned and operated brewery is crafted by women, with beers brewed for women. Bold, flavorful, and unapologetically unique. The space itself is a vibe. Located on a sunny corner lot with a huge courtyard filled with colorful murals. Step inside the taproom and you're instantly surrounded by warmth, culture, and creativity. Their brews are infused with Latino flair, using ingredients and fruits rooted in Mexican tradition. The flavor combos are bold, refreshing, and like nothing you've had before. Amor a la Mexicana | Mexican Lager | 5.1% Crisp, clean, and super drinkable. A perfect warm day sipper. Fiesta en el Barrio | Mexican Amber Lager | 5.5% Smooth and sweet with light caramel notes, a malty base, and a root beer-like finish. Oktoberfiesta | Marzen | 5.5% Malty with subtle black tea notes, unexpected and totally delicious. Whether you're a beer lover or just here for the vibes, Mujeres Brew House is an experience worth toasting to!

Anytime I'm in San Diego, I try to make it to Mujeres Brewhouse. I appreciate the art, the beer and most of all the sense of community. I've tried a variety of their beer over periods of time and my order is usually good. Last month I went for my bday and had a Japonesa and Mexicana, both were delicious and yes, I probably misnamed them. I also got to see some Lucha Libre and local band, it was a good time. Anyone saying there's attitude and lack of service don't understand how to come correct.

Great service. Ordered an Horchata stout and a Green Apple seltzer. The seltzer tasted like a green jolly rancher. The stout was light and had a nice blend of spices that paired well with the beer. Both were delicious and refreshing! Plenty of shaded outdoor seating, as well as a nearby taco food truck.

A friend of ours had a gathering this past Sunday here. It was a nice place to sit back a d relax. Had covered umbrella tables and awesome tejano music playing. The bartenders and cashier were so nice and attentive. We all enjoyed our time there with friends.

Mujeres Brew House in Barrio Logan is such a cute spot. I love the decor and the fact that it's women-owned--it really adds to the vibe of supporting local businesses and the neighborhood. They also host a lot of great events, which makes it feel like more than just a bar but a real community space. The drinks are always on point and super yummy. Definitely a fun place to check out if you're in the area.

Great service, ambiance, brew and food! They have local vendors selling their wares. The beers were great and migeulitos catering had great food and big portions!

Great beer. Great service. Come in and try a few beers. More in the light side, but good beer.

Tasty drinks, friendly staff! I enjoyed the two beers I tried and would definitely be interested in trying some more in the future!

there wasn't when I was there, but there were good sours.

Hi Yes! we are family friendly.

Mujeres is unique in its brewing philosophy! They believe taste above all else and have not only the traditional Lagers and IPA's, but specialize in light, fruit forward beers as well as Cocktail Seltzers!

We love dogs! Bring them all, just keep on a leash and be a responsible pet parent!

With upstairs/downstairs seating, trivia on Thursday's, and being pup friendly, this place is a true gem. The food is affordable and delicious. Lots of vegetarian options for tacos, along with some sides like chips + guac. They have a great drink selection and one of my girlfriend's fave is some apricot bevvy that is just the perfect summer unwind drink! I have to give a special shoutout to Gavin for going above and beyond the last visit. I brought my dog and asked the gentleman at the front if they have unseasoned meat that I can give the pup. He said they had unseasoned chicken so I got a side. We went upstairs for seating and shortly after got our food. The chicken however, was definitely seasoned. Definitely not giving that to a dog. We checked back with the server upstairs (which was Gavin) who immediately told us that yes, it's definitely seasoned. Since I ordered food, I decided to try and finish my avocado taco (delish!), before going downstairs to sort things. In this time Gavin had gone out of his way to get some unseasoned carne asada and brought a healthy portion of it, remembered our table and brought it to us. My girlfriend spoke to him, I hadn't so for him to not only find us upstairs (no number) but he corrected the confusion/mistake. Needless to say, my dog was also very pleased! The vibes are casual. Staff here is always supportive and sweet. Total beach vibes, and honestly great at any time. Also highly recommend this place for people watching.

It is a touristy restaurant, so seating can get tricky, but we managed to find spots on the patio. You order at the bar counter, receive a table number, and then they bring the food to you. Chips and Guac (3/5): Plenty of guac, but a little flavorless and could use more limes or salt. Mahi Tostada (3.5/5): Fresh raw cuts of mahi were minced on top of a crispy thin tostada, but again, a little plain and could be accompanied with a lime or a light green sauce. Crispy Shrimp Taco (4/5): A heavy shrimp taco! I wasn't expecting the shrimp to be wrapped in what looked like an egg roll wrap. It was very crunchy and juicy. Although again, needed some sauce for the taco as they did not provide us any. Fish and Chips (3.5/5): Not as crispy as I would have liked, and the tartar sauce had a lot of tangy dill flavor, which was a little much for me. The fries that came with it were truffle flavored, which was a unique twist! I thought the food was quite average, but they did have more unique options I have not seen before! Come for the views during sunset, but I'd keep the food limited here and probably enjoy the drinks more.

The servers were attentive and checked in on us frequently. The food is typical American bar fare. Smash burgers and sandwiches were popular choices. I opted for the poke bowl, which was reasonably priced. However, I might go for the poke nachos next time. The poke bowl had a lot of onions, and the sauce was a bit teriyaki-like. My friends enjoyed the burgers, smash burgers, and French fries. The portion sizes were perfect for individual servings. They have a kid's menu on the kids' coloring page, and they provide crayons for the kids. I also tried their kombuchas, which are around ABV 6%. I tried the dragon fruit kombucha, which had an amazing pink-purple color and smelled like dragon fruit. It wasn't overly sweet and had low carbonation. I recommend asking the servers for recommendations to suit your taste. The indoor space is cooler and spacious, making it great for gatherings. There were many family and friend gatherings here. You can grab a drink and let the kids run around. I also appreciate that they accept reservations on OpenTable, which is perfect for planning large group gatherings. They have a happy hour from 12 to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, which I'll definitely check out. There's plenty of parking at the Mission Valley Mall. There's a small lot nearby or the parking structure. Note that the mall has been renovated over the last couple of years and looks amazing. You can make a whole day out of it by coming here for lunch or dinner, then spending some time at the mall or getting errands done at Target nearby.
