    Pineapple flavored Taiwan Beer

Visiting in Atlanta and wanted to try another fried chicken place. Had tried Gus' already. Wasn't expecting to try Korean style but glad we did. Four of us thought the chicken was delicious...nicely fried and juicy (even the white meat). We also tried their green salad (cabbage and corn with a 1000 Island-type dressing), Kimchee mac and cheese (not to our liking), and the Korean corn (kernels with mozzarella cheese). Didn't get a pic of our 1/2 bird before we chowed at it. For the Taiwan Beer, this was the least favorite version that we tried (mango and lychee were great tasting). The establishment itself was simple, with some bench seating and regular chairs around tables, black walls and a couple of tvs. You order at the counter and the menu is clearly displayed on the wall. The cashier was cheerful and welcoming. It wasn't long for our order to come up and the chicken was piping hot. We chose the honey garlic sauce, which was like the Asian take of syrup (a bit too much on the sweet side). It's definitely a place to go try when you're over there. Yum!

I had been wanting to check this place out for a while, so my friend and I finally walked over for a Saturday night dinner. Inside, the space felt pretty industrial and seemed like more of a takeout spot, but there was still plenty of space and seating. I ordered the wings with the Korean Sweet Heat sauce and also got a side of the roasted kimchi mac & cheese. The food came out pretty fast and the staff was super nice with getting us napkins to clean off our table which I appreciated. I found it a little strange the wings came with sauce on the side rather than coated in the sauce, but the wings themselves were super delicious and juicy! The sauce also had a fantastic blend of sweet and spicy. The star was definitely the kimchi mac n cheese though!! The mac n cheese was so creamy and cheesy and I LOVED the kimchi (and I'm usually not a kimchi person!). There was some great tanginess and flavors in the mac n cheese. Overall, neat spot and really solid food, but I wish the wings came dressed in sauce already and I'd probably just get takeout next time.

Very casual fast food vibe. The menu is small and very specialized to what they do. I ordered the chicken tenders which came with a very generous 6 pieces nicely breaded with a bit of a spicy seasoning (I'm a spice wimp so it was a little spicy for me). I ordered them with the Korean sweet heat sauce as the person taking my order at the counter said that it wasn't very spicy and she was right. She was also very efficient and friendly. The sweetness of the sauce pairs wonderfully with the already spiciness of the chicken. I also got the kimchi Mac and cheese which was delicious and also just a little spicy. They have a fountain drink machine with Coke products which I loved to see as so many places just have a cooler with bottled and canned drinks and I prefer fountain soda. Music playing was a mix of r&b hip hop soul and was pleasant for the environment. There were mistake TV's showing tennis, nascar and ESPN. If you're jonesing for some chicken, I recommend.

Very good experience! Tenders were good, Sandwich was great, wings were nice crispy. My favorite side were the cheese fries, didn't love the kimchi Mac and cheese, the kimchi didn't have the familiar fermented flavor but it tasted like sauerkraut. Overall very good place

Just ok to me. It was almost completely empty when we visited on a Saturday afternoon. The cashier was knowledgeable and provided recommendations, but the food was just ok to me. I really loved the fries, especially the ones with the cheese powder. The chicken tenders were just ok, however. Nothing to really write home about. Could use some more seasoning. I wish you could try the different sauces vs. just kinda blindly pick one. I chose the sweet heat, with the hopes it would taste like the Chick-fil-A sweet sriracha. It didn't. :/ the wings are pretty small too.

Not sure if it's cause of delivery... But for the price I'd paid. You would expect this meal to be bigger portions? I felt like the value just isn't there. If it was solely base on their technique and gave a different type of flavors compared to many fried chicken spots. I would've been okay with that, sadly it wasn't. The chicken was sadly dry and the mini sides were easily forgettable. Hopefully if we choose this next time around with our company. It'll be better.

This is a great fast casual korean fried chicken spot. We got a half bird which comes with 3 sides and pickled radish! The server at the counter was welcoming and order came out pretty quick. There were many tables and chairs even around dinner time. The bird was a mixed of white and dark meat but didn't taste dry. They had awesome Korean slaw salad with a strong taste of gochujang, kimchi mac and cheese with Gouda and cheese corn! Overall, this is a great spot for a quick bite and fusion flavors!

    Corn Cheese. Very good.

We will definitely be returning. Food aside, Sean's friendliness and overall hospitality was refreshing. You don't get that from the food industry nowadays. He visited our table a couple times to answer our questions, chat with us, and give us tips on how to maximize our meal experience (like encouraging us to use the palate cleanser, and trying my side with my chicken. You can tell he cares about the customer experience. Thanks, Sean! Now, onto the food. 10/10. The chicken was juicy and crispy. The sauces were on point. The Cheese Fries were addictive! The Korean Slaw was sooo refreshing and flavorful (and it has a kick!). The Cheese Corn was pretty good. The restaurant was very clean, and the art was nice! We can't wait to go back and try more sauces and menu options.

Delicious fast casual spot in Atl. Don't expect to be blown away in terms of service or ambiance as it's like any fast casual sport, but the food definitely hits home. Ordered mac n cheese, loaded fries, and a few types of chicken. All were delicious but the kimchi mac (unfortunately not pictured) was the star of the show! Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for good food without having to break the budget.

The Korean fried chicken was The crunch, juiciness, seasoning, the size. I loved the Korean Sweet Heat sauce to dip the chicken and fries in. The fries were very tasty, salty and crispy. The Mac & Cheese was not tasty at all but I'm sure someone would like it. The menu is simplistic. I appreciated the sauce being on the side versus cooked in. Ambiance was nothing special but I appreciate the cleanliness and simplicity.

It was my first time trying something like this. It was different yet tasty and a bit on the spicy side. If I were a spice girl, this place would definitely be at the top of my list! However, I'm not but I still forged through. The flavors are yummy and a, I would have never thought of this but surprisingly, it works! The space coming in was cool too, very modern chic. Unfortunately, on the day that I went the staff there wasn't as helpful. In a place so unique like this, it is imperative that someone greets you and when you tell them that you've never been here before, give you insight on what's in store and maybe offer suggestions. That didn't happen at all, it was more so, please know what you want before ordering because I don't have the patience or willingness to assist. Outside of that (which is a big thing because if anyone has read my reviews we all know that friendly staff is major on my list of feeling like me and my money is appreciated and for whether or not I'll return, share and invite others since I always have family and friends coming into town. Now although I live about 20 plus minutes away, I still wouldn't mind giving them another try with someone who has a palette for their food combinations. Meaning I'm willing to refer and bring someone else there to give them a chance to experience it. Until next time, enjoy the food pics below.

Once my party and I arrived, it took Mr. Ross nearly 10 minutes to greet us. By the time he came over, we were already prepared to order. Our food and drinks arrived, but after that, Mr. Ross never returned to check on our table or ask if we needed refills. Instead, he spent close to 30 minutes standing at the bar talking with friends who were dining there. When he finally came back, we were so frustrated that we simply asked for the check. Even then, our drinks were never refilled. This level of service was very disappointing and unacceptable, especially on a Monday when the restaurant was not busy.

Couldn't have been happier with our choice. Reviews I'd seen online mentioned parking is a bit limited and that the restaurant is frequently busy. So we were prepared for that even though we were going on a Thursday mid morning. I think there was an influx of people celebrating graduations because it was in fact very busy. However we got very lucky with parking and happened to come in right as someone was leaving. I was sure we would have a wait for a table, which of course would have been fine, but actually we were seated immediately! Which was super nice and unexpected. The atmosphere is bustling but not in a bad way. The restaurant itself is adorable and has a lot of character. It feels like you're having breakfast at an old friend's house. The service was great and our food came out in a very reasonable amount of time. I ordered a specialty coffee, I believe it was the almond joy cold brew, and it was delicious. Strong, which is how I like it and not overly sweet. I ordered the chicken biscuit on the waiter's recommendation and it was absolutely the best fried chicken I've ever had. Juicy and crispy. My husband ordered the pimento cheese omelette and was very happy with it, the bacon was thick cut and smoky and flavorful. The pimento cheese grits that came on the side for me were also a stand out, such great flavor. The biscuits are fantastic and the blueberry basil jam that came with my husband's meal was such a nice touch. We will absolutely make a point to come back to Buttermilk Kitchen next time we visit the Atlanta area.

First things first: the Chicken Biscuit. Buttermilk Kitchen's biscuit is on the crunchy, honey-flavored side. I personally prefer fluffier, more buttery biscuits, so this one wasn't my favorite. That aside, the chicken was crispy and well-seasoned and paired well with the cheese grits. If you ever wanted a dry, crunchy version of Homegrown's Comfy Chicken Biscuit, come give this a shot. I also tried the Hash Bowl, which was a bit underwhelming. It was a *lot* of potatoes compared to the eggs and bacon bits, and there wasn't a lot of seasoning other than the bacon. Would rather recommend one of the other options if you end up visiting. The drinks are good as well, would recommend the matcha latte (not too sweet!) and the French Press coffee.

She checked on us numerous times, didn't rush us and offered suggestions. She kept our table clear of mayhem from empty plates and glasses. Now the food was delicious. It was so good. The chicken was moist and the outside was crispy. The mashed potatoes melted in my mouth. Plus, we had a slice of 7up cake for dessert. I high recommend this place. I'll keep it simple the food was good, don't get me wrong. But for the price, it just didn't match up. This is one of those places that works if you're trying to impress clients or enjoy the atmosphere. Strip away the location, and the food-to-price ratio probably lands much lower. Just my take.
