Laguardia Airport is my choice of airport of fly out of out of the three in the metropolitan area. I usually would go to the Sapphire Lounge. Unfortunately, I decided to part ways with it so now am now at the mercy of what's available at the food court. Browsing through Yelp, I was disappointed to see essentially every spot has a sub-par rating, so it was a pick your poison kind of thing at this point. So I chose Mulberry Street. It had a nice seating area overlooking the tarmac, but their high top seating was quite uncomfortable and did not help with my posture at all when I needed to do work on my laptop. Would have preferred to give up the views to sit comfortably at a regular table. I ordered the Sausage & Broccoli Rabe Cavatelli ($31.50), which was tasty. Just not over $30 good. Heck, anything over $30 for a meal is ridiculous, but it's the airport after all, so everything is marked up. Luckily I can charge this expense back to my company. you probably can get away with sharing one of this between two people and be decently full. Service is what you'd expect for an airport service. Not really attentive. You will have to waive someone down to get service. I had to get out of my seat to find a staff member that I needed my bill and catch my flight. After walking past this several times to/from my flights at LGA and eating at Marc Forgione's Manhattan restaurant, I was very much looking forward to eating here. What a major let-down. First, there was no one at the host stand to seat me and finally just grabbed a spot. On the plus side, the waiter (George) was prompt with my drink and overall very friendly. Where things fell apart was the food and the associated price. I got the burger and the patties were not even visible. It was dry and had very little taste. Fries as the side were as equally tasteless. All for an astronomical price of $27. Do better. I get that I'm not going to get the same quality as the original but this is nowhere close. read more

We enjoyed our seat facing Flushing Bay and watching the planes come down the tarmack. The service was prompt and friendly and the food was delicious. Drinks- We ordered the Paloma- super refreshing and perfectly balanced alcohol to juice and soda water ratio. Food- we order the Chicken Club (I was craving bacon) with "extra crispy" fries (always gotta specify this for them to be cooked longer) with a side of house dressing. It was fresh, the bread was warm and crisp, the chicken was warm, tender and moist. Our extra crispy fries were perfectly crispy and the house dressing and ketchup were a great combo. We would definitely go back and recommend stopping here when you're in the LGA airport. read more

The table was uncleaned, the specialty Bloody Mary wasn't special at all (no meat, cheese, or veggie garnish which is what you are paying extra for and the bartender didn't bother to tell us that it wasn't available until after it arrived) the food was lukewarm and the fries were obviously reheated several times. We only saw our server three times, to order, when the food arrived, and when she wanted a tip. Avoid this place like the plague we likely contracted from eating here. George provide friendly and attentive service. Nice bar area with several TVs. Made a great spot to do some work and watch the end of a game. Had the meatball appetizer. Good texture to the meat and plenty of sauce and parm on top. It wasn't cheap but it's airport food. read more

Looks can be deceiving, especially when you've been in an airport for 6 hours. Everything starts to blur. Poor decision making becomes the norm. I ordered a pizza. Stopped by here to get a nice drink and a bite to eat before catching my flight. 3 stars because the service starting off was so slow but once my waitress determined I was still alive, the service did get better. I had the meatball appetizers which were just ok (needed seasoning) and 2 metamorphoses. The drinks were on point! I decided to sit by the window to have a nice view. Two people came about 20 minutes later and sat next me. About 5 minutes later, waitress came by to take their order. I looked at the waitress and smiled to make sure she acknowledged me. Visited on a Wednesday evening right after dinner time waiting for my delayed flight. The seats were comfortable and good for proper watching. Service was slow but the server friendly. Wine was ridiculously overpriced. My grilled chicken club on Focaccia was terribly dry. Even with a side of mayo, it was like the Sahara desert with minimal cheese and bacon. This was at the airport. We were seated immediately. The staff were super nice. And they took our orders promptly. But they had a manpower shortage, and apparently, some ppl did not come to work. But food took very long to come. The food was not too bad. The food was fresh. But felt more like home cooked breakfast by relatives. Nothing fancy But they had a severe manpower shortage in the kitchen. I initially ordered coffee. Coffee wasn't great. Then, later on, we moved to the bar and ordered alcoholic beverages. Decent, but again, bar was not stocked properly. I tried to order special summer drinks which they had placed on menus, but they could not make it due to lack of alcohol. This is probably one of the best restaurants (not including lounges) in LGA. The prices aren't too high. The drinks are strong. The food isn't pretentious hipster fare, it actually tastes good. If your flight is delayed go here first. The hostess was so nice and made sure we got a table that would accommodate our luggage. The waiter made sure we got our food in a timely manner. They had no problem with my liquor substitution requests. It was a great meal for what ended up being a really long day. I will absolutely be back. read more

First off, this is an airport restaurant, not a fine dining establishment. Keeping that in mind will definitely help. To start, the service at the bar from Trevaun was fabulous. We were well taken care of without him being on top of us. And no judgment for our morning drinking and feasting. (We'd just finished a cruise this morning, so you shouldn't judge us either!) Typical airport markups on wine & booze. But, nice options on both. We had the pasta ala vodka and sausage and broccoli rabe orecchiette. Both were ok. We're used to fabulous Italian food...but again airport, right? I can tell you, in addition to the great service, you have a great view of the planes taxiing to the runway and the water. I was looking forward to this meal as pasta with broccoli rabe and sausage is a favorite. Honestly food was mediocre. At best. for $31 the portion was very small. Usually this dish has some amount of broth to make it slight "saucy". This had none. The sausage was not really browned at all. Service was lackluster. Obviously in an airport so prices will be higher, but for $33.00 with the tip and no drink, it was very disappointing. The burger was overcooked and very small. Probably a frozen burger. The fries were good, but very salty and slightly overdone. Service was good, the waitress was nice and is the only reason I'm giving it 2 stars. Would probably have been better off going to Wendy's or ShakeShack. Wouldn't visit Mulberry Street again if it was the only food place opened in the airport. Have a nice day. read more

The service was exceptional (5 stars), but the breakfast was just average (3 stars). Frida was friendly and efficient. She brought us water, and filled our water bottles with ice and water. She took our orders, and someone else brought out our 2 egg, bacon, toast and home fries breakfasts expeditiously. She gave us our check when we requested it, and we tipped her 25% for excellent service! The breakfasts were good, but the food was warm - not hot. We asked for crispy home fries, but they were the usual fare. The bacon was extra crispy and the scrambled eggs were well done. We forgot to ask for limp bacon and barely cooked scrambled eggs. But would it have mattered in light of the average - not crisp - home fries? The restaurant is very nice. It's one of several new ones in terminal B that we were not familiar with. We ate and relaxed before walking to our gate. On the way to Gate 56 we saw 2 more newer restaurants that we'll try next time. read more

Should be zero. Horrible slow service if you're flying out within 2-3 hours forget it you will not receive your order. Staff is difficult to even get their attention or the correct order. Then when the check came it was almost double the price and they didn't want to check it without an argument even then we were overcharged for a premium liquor which is not what we got. the overcharging seemed intentional and many travelers in a hurry prob don't notice. I would never recommend stopping here for anything. Other travelers there by us had the same issues and I hope they all write horrible reviews too. read more

I do not often write bad reviews. But I consider this a service to travelers. The Mulberry Street Italian Eatery is in Laguardia Terminal B. It is convenient and there is plenty of seating. I had a bit of time between flights so I opted for a sit down meal. I wanted a thin and crispy pizza that I saw others post ... but alas, they no longer offer that style of pizza. So I got the rigatoni with vodka sauce. ($23). On the bright side it was a healthy portion served hot. Kudos! But the pasta was severely over cooked and the entire dish lacked flavor of any kind. No bread or extra cheese or spice was offered. Completely bland. This was essentially old cheese that did not melt with a sauce of over thinned tomato soup. A complete waste of my time. Nobody even asked how my meal was. 2 stars is generous. read more

I had a very good experience here as I awaited a flight for four hours. The Mulberry breakfast was very tasty and the wait staff was nothing short of very accommodating and amazing. Especially Sweelen, the master mixologist. This woman knows what she's doing with these delicious cocktails, strong on good flavor with a little bit of a punch. Just what you need with a long flight ahead of you. The Mele Kalikimai-tai is crazy delicious. Ask for Sweelen to mix it up for you. She just doesn't miss. We were looking for a place to eat at LaGuardia Airport and found this place. It seemed cute from the outside and the menu looked fine. We just wanted something light so we ordered some salads. Our waiter brought some water and we ordered the Tricolor Salad and the Tomato Mozzarella Salad. Both salads were a good size but a little pricey; however, you are at the airport in a "restaurant" spot and things are usually pricey there. Salads were ok, nothing wow. I came here while connecting through LGA for dinner one evening... The hostess was horrible! When I asked her if the food was good, she gave me an odd look and never answered me, but it was a negative look. I opted for a seat at the bar and waited about 5 mins and no one greeted me, so I left. I went to a nearby lounge (the Centurion Lounge) and they were just closing up for the evening, so I quicky went back to this place. I lost my original seat, as the bar was quite bust, but not packed, so I asked the hostess for a seat and menu, which she provided, but was clearly not enthusiastic about being there. I waited 10 minutes and saw two different employees being the bar, mixing drinks, etc, but no one ever acknowledged me nor came over... So, I left again and went elsewhere. I did notice that the management is the same at a couple of these places that are bars/sit down restaurants and that showed me they're all not worth the visit.
