We love to go to Mulconry's when we're in the mood for something different. My husband and other family members have loved the burgers there--the Mulconrey Burger and the Sweet Chili Burger in particular. They taste like high quality beef and are different than what you typically find in local burger places. I'm vegetarian and fell in love with the vegetable boxty--the aged Irish Cheddar cheese sauce was to die for. It's no longer on the menu, but twice they've made it for me anyway. Great establishment. Damien makes you feel like you are in Ireland with his hospitality, charm and warm heart. The beer is always cold and always flowing at Mulconry's. Great food with some authentic Irish dishes. I personally lean towards the Chicken French dinner which is among the best in Rochester, if not "The Best" and I have had this meal in every Italian restaurant in the area. Second to none. Waitresses and Bar staff make you feel at home with quick humor and great service. We just visited here for lunch and really glad we did. The atmosphere was really nice, especially for a pub. I wasn't sure how accommodating they would be as I had my toddler with me. They had crayons and a kiddie placemat for my son. He loved the kiddie cup that came with his hot dog (which was really good). The turkey and Brie sandwich I had was amazing. Would come back in a heartbeat for this sandwich. The pulled pork sandwich was okay. The fries were substantial and fresh. Service was on point. We will be back. read more

As other reviews have indicated the food was plentiful with the exception of the cabbage. I had to hunt for it I'm used to a 1/4 to a1/6 wedge. There were a lot of mashed potatoes but I prefer the traditional boiled potatoes. Overall the food was extremely salty. Reasonably priced drinks, friendly staff and some of the best wings I have ever had. They have a really good selection of beers too. Whether you're watching a game, meeting someone for a few drinks or having a meal, this is an excellent choice. My wife and I hired the function room upstairs for our wedding reception. It was the ideal space for our guests (just over 100 people). The main room made a great dance floor and we had a photo booth and a beer pong table on the other side. People could take a breather or cool down on the balcony too, which was great. They worked seamlessly with our florist, bakers, DJ and wedding planner to make it a perfect night after a perfect day. I have been there a few times. Each time I have waited for the staff to stop socializing with each other and stop playing on their phones to even glance at me. I ordered "Cajun rub" but it was a sauce. I should have insisted that we went to Donnelly's since their wings are delicious and cheaper. Stoped by as we were traveling through Fairport on a Friday night. The bar was busy and we were told a 25 minute wait for a table. No problem, so we find a spot a the bar and have a drink while we wait. We are text our table is ready after a reasonable wait. Once seated we are told " the deal is once you order your food you will have to wait 45 minutes" say what? 45 minutes after I order food wait? You don't even know what I will order. I've always been a fan of a good Irish pub and I've been to Mulconry's a handful of times and have always enjoyed myself. I love the live music they have on weekends! The bartenders are fabulous. The very first time I went I didn't recognize some of the beers, so the bartender gave me a little quiz and picked one out for me. The menu is fantastic. From their soups to their main courses, you will not be disappointed. I think this is the most authentic Irish restaurant you will get anywhere in Rochester. Mulconry's truly has that something extra that sets it apart and makes it worth visiting again and again. By "something extra," I mean good, hearty Irish pub fare -- fish and chips, beef stew, Irish bread. Bonus points--sweet potato fries! No American-Irish pub is complete without sweet potato fries. During the day, it's a great spot to have lunch meetings and week nights, the atmosphere is pleasantly mellow, with candles on the tables creating a cozy glow. Some of the waiters also have charming Irish accents, which is a plus! What can I say, I'm a sucker for authenticity. Very disappointed with food and service. Service was slow for a evening that wasn't busy. After paying our check, asked to order another drink and were told we could go to the bar! I have been to Mulconry's many a time and have always enjoyed it there. I usually stick to the burgers and wings and they are always great. The Guinness gold wings are my favorite. The bar has plenty of tv's and they will put on what ever sports you want if you ask and there is an open tv. The bar tenders are very friendly and fun to chat with. It can get loud at nights or weekend when they have live music but I think you have to expect that when there is live music. I would recommend checking it out for yourself. read more

I've been back several times, I like this place quite a bit. Great wings, sheppards pie is excellent, the pretzel app is deep fried so it's a little greasy but the dipping sauces are great and it's pretty crisp. I like them. Last night was the second time that I have witnessed the bartender/Manager being extremely rude and disrespectful to a customer, that I will no longer bring my family or friends to this bar. I was waiting to get a drink at the bar and witnessed the bartender (who appeared to be intoxicated) tell a customer to "shut the fuck up and wait." I was mortified for the customer and felt embarrassed along with another man that also heard this. Like I stated, I have seen the manager behave this way before and I cannot believe that this is allowed and acceptable behavior for Mulconry's employees or any place of business, for that matter. It is appalling and extremely disrespectful to have a manager who is obviously intoxicated to berate and yell at a customer who is just trying to support your business. I will not go to this bar/restaurant and have many friends and family who feel the same. Mulconrys should pay more attention to how their manager runs the business! read more

Great good old-fashioned Irish Pub. Reminded me of some of the pubs I visited years ago in Ireland. Service was great bartender was fantastic! Food was really good too, since it was my first time there I the Mulconry Burger. Glad I did it was really good along with the mashed potatoes that came with it. My wife ordered a fancy meal off specials list but my 6 wings didn't show up till after my wife was done with her meal (I had at least a quarter of her meal).
