Excellent, Food, Steak, Prime Rib, service all excellent, moderately priced. About 15 minutes outside of the Dells, worth the drive!

Surly waitress? Check Salty, inedible French onion soup? Check Chicken fingers used for a Chicken Philly on a loaf of bread? Check $100 for 3 dinners, 2 drinks and a soda? Yep... This is a bar, and they serve bar food, but it's easily the worst bar food in the Dells. Still had to pay for the French Onion, was offered a clam chowder as a replacement, kind of take it or leave it. I don't have to come back, too many better options. read more

So, firstly keep the standard of a local bar/pub, it's located in a resort but don't think it's supposed to be some high end spot. But, with that in mind, it's pretty good! The food wasn't anything inventive, just typical bar food, and that's what I was looking for! Prime rib was good, I ordered medium rare, just had to let it rest for a bit. Far wasn't rendered off but it was still good! Fries and onion rings were decent as well, so was the soup. Best thing is that it does have a full bar, so you can keep that in mind! As someone from chicago, the Spotted Cow on tap was great! Of course, nothing to rave about but definitely a good establishment! Service was great and attentive and we got a table near the window so the views were relaxing. 4/5 because it wasn't mind blowing but definitely a decent establishment to visit! We waited 45+ minutes for a carry-out order (2 cheeseburgers and a pasta dish). People were doing kegstands inside the bar/restaurant while we waited and waited. Finally we asked the waitress where our food was and she walked back to the kitchen and we immediately had our food (which clearly had been sitting for awhile, she'd forgotten about us). I wouldn't have bothered to leave a review except when we got our food back to our cabin each order had at least one thing incorrect. (The food was terrible too, but that part we expected based on the other reviews we'd read, we weren't expecting a great meal but at least were hoping the order would have been correct after waiting so long). read more

Hit or miss, but miss mostly. They need a manager. Staff are friendly when not engrossed in chit chat with each other, ignoring family's waiting to be seated, while not having more than several people in the place. Come here every year and witness the same thing. read more

This is a very solid place to eat. It's located on a resort, and is much closer than anything in town. We had a variety of food when we went. From a burger,fries, onion rings to salmon it was all good. It was a fairly large restaurant, for being on a resort. The staff was friendly. They had a pretty decent size bar as well. All located near the ski hill, which provided nice scenery. The prices were average, not too high. I thought they presented the food well, and it all tasted pretty good. The fries were delicious, along with lost of the food. I thought the burger wasn't bad, yet wasn't great. The waitress was friendly, and our food came out quick enough. The dessert was delicious! It was pretty kid friendly as well. Usually I would travel the 10/15 in town to eat. However, on days that you don't feel like driving far, this is a very decent spot to frequent. read more

Great place whenever we stay at Christmas mountain! Cold beer and pizza are the favorites for us!

AWFUL!!! Worst service EVER! We ordered coffee and the server said, "Sorry. I'm not making coffee just for your table, and what we already have is old." There was literally ONE server. AND she was rude. We weren't in a hurry, so having to wait was never the issue. The server acted as though we were inconveniencing her by being there, so we will not return. read more

Love coming here in the summer and winter. No I don't ski, but I enjoy the bar by the slopes. It is beautiful To eat It is close to camping, golfing, hiking and close to the Dells. The landscaping and beautiful flowers are part of its charm in the summer. The close bars make it a good place to party. Food available for restaurant or deliver/pickup. read more

We came to Mulligans because it was close to where we were staying. Wasn't very hungry so I just ordered the wing appetizer with the sesame orange sauce. It was okay, good amount though. The French dip sandwich was ordered by two in my party, so I got a taste, okay, but I've had better on several occasions. A little pricey. An average place that's on a convenient location. read more

Just finished lunch there with my family, $68 for 3 burgers and a quesadilla and fries. And honestly if I wasn't using resort credit I would've definitely not ate there. We found this place online and checked the hours, website said it was takeout only on Tuesdays but I called to double check as the internet said they were open. They were indeed open for dine in so we saved our hunger for this stop all afternoon, as the menu online showed some great entree options. When we got there the menu had been altered and it was a limited menu, understandable with everything going on and staff shortages but please update your information. Cool place! Only writing about the bar. Didn't eat in the restaurant. Full bar, great local beers on tap, the sweetest staff. I will be back for a New Glarus whenever I'm back this way. Karaoke was a bit much on Saturday night, but were it not for a family reunion there I probably would have hit up the bars downtown on Saturday anyway and come back here for a nite cap. Bar hours depend on the night and the crowd, but Friday and Saturday it was open past midnight. Bar is open during the day as well. I saw them make an incredible Bloody Mary. It was highly recommended though I didn't get to try one. read more

If you are staying at this resort, eating here is a no brainer. If you're not staying at the resort I would still recommend visiting. Extremely underrated and, given the appearance of the outside, somewhat of a big surprise. The outside doesn't look bad but the food was really good. The environment was very laid-back and casual (almost too laid back and too casual) with some video games to entertain kids. read more

We've eaten here 4 times now, first 3 were from our visit here to Christmas Mountain 3 years ago...then we went last night. Omg, everything we've tried so far is so awesome! My husband and my fave is their French Dip! It's soooo delicious! My son and his girlfriend had a burger and something else and both loved their!s! We all recommend this restaurant! We visited Mulligan's twice during a trip to Christmas Mountain a couple weekends ago. The first visit was for dinner. I had the ribeye, which was average at best, but exactly what you'd expect for bar food. Service was good and overall was a decent experience. The waitress was also accommodating to my substitution requests. We came back a few days later for the breakfast buffet. The food on the buffet was again, as expected for a buffet at a bar. Not gourmet but not fabulous, either. However, service was a disaster. Granted, there were nine of us which might be a larger group than normal, but still not a huge group. There were exactly five other diners in the entire restaurant and the staff had troubles finding enough silverware for everyone. Those of us that did have silverware had completed our meals prior to our simple drink order arriving. The waitress continually made excuses about how there were only two waitresses on staff at the time (how many do you need for three tables at a buffet?). Really, the problem was that the waitress clearly didn't care and just expected to receive her tip. She didn't. It was a trainwreck. If you're in the area and looking for food, definitely try somewhere else. There are a LOT of good options. read more

Friendly staff. The food and drinks were great and loved how you are able to take it outside. The credit card machines were down all weekend which made payment very inconvenient. You can't ask for a better place to grab a GINORMOUS beer and burger in between skiing. A nice view looking out at the slopes, good music, friendly staff. Oh, and THIS SATURDAY, February 2nd is the Christmas Mountain Winter Carnival. Live Music by Chicago's RED POP FURY ...Occasional back up band for Gina Glocksen of American Idol and Marty Casey of ROCK STAR: INXS. On their own they crank. We stayed here for couple days with the family as a little weekend getaway. So we decided to tried the foods here. The waitress was nice, by the time we orders foods ....it takes almost 30 mnts to get it, we eat the foods and it was horrible the foods wasn't good at all !!!
