Been here a few times. For a midtown Irish Pub it's not terribly priced but it's not great either. Also, I've heard the food is pretty mediocre though I've never eaten here other than stealing someone's mozz stick a few years ago. That happened. They had some sort of happy hour deal of $4 pints until 8pm and then $5 pineapple infused vodka cocktails and $6 sangria all night. Again, not bad. I ended up getting a regular beer post happy hour and was kind of pissed because it wasn't in a traditional pint glass. BUT. . . then they poured the exact same crap Sam Adams summer ale into a pint glass for my friend. I ended up with the skinny one that definitely wasn't the same amount and it was more expensive. Sam Adams anything is not worth $7 plus tip. That made me frown for a long time until I discovered house wine that actually tasted really pretty good was $5 all night. Which I wish I would have realized walking through the door. It's a decent pub though to grab a drink if you have people that work in the area. But I wouldn't stay here for long. read more

My favorite after work bar for a beer or two or five. The bartenders are really cool and always hook you up with a few on the house.

I was wandering around looking for someplace to have lunch. I stumbled across this place. There were quite a few people inside, so I figured if they liked it, the food must be ok. I was very satisfied with the service, food and of course the beer selection. It not hard on you wallet either as lunch (Fish n Chips, and Guinness) cost less than $20. read more

Worst bar ever. I'm the DD and asked for water. I was offered a $3.00 bottle after I paid for several beers for friends ... Apparently free tap water isn't an option even after asking twice ... Not to mention the bar is NOT packed at 1 am ... Then went to the restroom and saw a sign about driving buzzed. Seriously? No thank you. I'll find another place to drink. read more

I ordered the Fish n Chips which were nothing outstanding but not bad. A lot of breading and the fries were good. The bartender is from Dublin and I loved his accent and he was very nice! So if you're passing by its worth a stop if you're hungry! read more

Lady kept coming up to us asking us for an order as if we were never going order just sit there so we decided to go somewhere else to eat and she came up and grabbed the menus from our hands and said just using the free air conditioning . We found this gem on our last day in town. It was around the corner from our hotel and we were waiting to leave for the airport and decided to go in here to pass the time. It was pretty empty but the staff was friendly (they even turned on the air when we asked because it was a bit stuffy in there) the food was delicious the price was decent, we got our food pretty fast. We will definitely look this place up next time to try another dish. read more

Mulligan's Pub - American Near Me - New York, New York

Loved this Irish Pub.. After a 20 hour flight from Oz, our Waitress, Calire - ( I hope I spelt it correctly) was fantastic.. We were so jet-lagged and Calire was very helpful recommending which local beers to try and menu items.. The beers were cold, the Jamieson was soothing and the food was very yummy. Great Pub atmosphere.. Sports bar feel with the Baseball and basketball on all screens. Would highly recommend, this friendly, inviting Pub, especially when you're along way from home.. Mulligans has been my Irish pub of choice in NYC since 2002. Authentic atmosphere, friendly service (especially from Michelle) and delicious bar food. NYC changes but Mulligans remains the best Irish pub around. Treat yourself. read more

So I work in the area and pass this bar every single day. On Friday I was in a bad mood and decided I wanted a burger to cheer me up so I went here. It was pretty crowded at the bar so I say at a low table for two so I wouldn't take up a large table for my one party. I ordered and my food came out pretty fast. The burger was just okay I probably should've gotten cheddar cheese instead of the pepper jack which was very bland. That's not where the problem came in. A large party walked in and they were a bit frazzled trying to find out go to accommodate them as I am mid bite in my burger the waitress asked if I would mind to move to the table behind me. Most people might've overlooked this but it bothered me not only because i was mid bite but because more and more people kept coming in so I was worried would I be asked to move again if someone came in with a party of four. So after I moved I finished not too long after. It was my first and last time I'll be stepping foot in there although they were nice it was an okay burger and I might've went back to try something else but asking me to move really left a bad taste in my mouth. read more

Went here because I was told they serve guinness in an imperial pint. They don't but they do have very good guinness and a perfect pour. Good atmosphere and good ( not great) food. Nice spot for a quick unmemorable lunch. read more

The bartender greeted us. We asked for a menu and looked it over. No one said anything to us so after a while we asked for a table. The bartender said "you have to go see the host." She made it seem like that was obvious but who has their host station all the way past the bar in the middle if a rectangle shaped room? The server was friendly. The food ok except the fish and chips. My mom said it was the worst she had had in her life. It was greasy, soggy, and not fresh. This place is basically a nice bar with an Irish name and theme. My pint of Guinness was OK but not great. Good bar and great spot for a group. Night out with the family and found this place. First off our waitress was ADORABLE. A true Irish lass working over here for the summer. Could have listened to her all night long. We ordered the fish and chips (youngest liked it), potato skins (enjoyed), I had the Shepard pie and it was ok. Honestly back home my pubs us better but it still ate real well. My oldest ordered the bangers and mash and we had the waitress ask the chef if it was nut free as he has a peanut allergy. Now in an Irish pub you don't see nuts in the menu much perhaps save for the desserts. She came back and said chef said no nuts. Cool, except when she came out with it there was no gravy on any of it. She explained that the chef than told her the gravy had nuts in it??? I found that odd, but she thoughtfully brought it out without it. Problem is that we have no idea if any of it was "contaminated" accidentally with a knife or spoon. While my son was starving he knew he shouldn't eat it but he handled it like a champ and a few minutes asked for a to go box citing that he wasn't feeling great. We took it with us and hopefully made a homeless man very happy with what looked like a fine meal. My point in all of this is to be fully aware of allergy limitations and dangers. Chances are 99 out of 100 times what was brought out was fine, but it's the 1% that scares the hell out of us. Maybe if he has known before it was cooked he could have ordered something else that was simply fried or a salad. Learning experience hopefully. Good place though. read more
