Found this little gem on Yelp. It's unique in that it's a little cafe with 6-8 nicely set tables, with takeout and a bakery case. We got a stuffed quahog which was fabulous. I never had one with sauce and cheese on it. It was really good. We then had ravioli and stuffed shells. They weren't homemade but you would never know it! I make homemade pasta and this is as close as you get. I was disappointed that there were no lobster tails left in the bakery case since they had been posted on Facebook. I tried two of their cookies and they were ok but I think that's just an individual taste. Kind of expensive; 3.60 for two cookies but the pasta plates were very reasonable and they don't skimp. There was enough leftover sauce to cover another whole plate of pasta. The sauce was excellent! Don't hesitate to go if you want authentic. We would definitely return. read more

First time here, certainly won't be the last. Good location in relation to the ballpark nearby made this a necessary stop for a test run. Soup was delicious, big serving was great for the price. Enough for two people. (Sorry, not sorry, no pics). Next up was the veal parm + pasta for $9.99. Reasonably priced and a good portion combined with the soup made their collection of desserts an unneeded extra this time around. Successful first stop, and impressed enough to add it to the list upon my return. Clean restaurant, good service. I can't speak for peak times and busy hours/days/nights but there is not a lot of seating inside. From what I could tell by the calls coming in they seem to do some really good business on take-out. This little unexpected restaurant was a find. We were starving after a miserably rainy soccer game. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. The staff was wonderful and made us feel right at home even after we over stayed out welcome staying past closing time. We took pastry home and on the advice of the staff I warmed the ricotta cookie. I never heard of an Italian stuffed quahog before so had to try it. This gigantic quahog was one of the most delicious I ever had. I'm not one who shares my food but I had to make sure my 3 lunch partners had a taste. The meatloaf dinner was a large portion of flavorful meatloaf. The meat was lean enough to not be greasy but had enough fat to be delicious. The pasta sauce is the best I can remember ever having. Prices are more than fair. Oh and the cannoli was perfection! All I can say is OMG IS MY GRAMMIE HIDING IN THE KITCHEN?! The dollar slices of pizza are HUGE and literally taste just like what my Grammie makes. I'm such a snob when it comes to pasta sauce but I will order it here. It's gooooooood. The only thing I've ordered that I wasn't a fan of was the ricotta cheese. I didn't get to try a lot of their food because they were still baking/cooking, so I just went with a cannoli, lobster tail, and white chocolate chip cookie. The cannoli was good but not as good as Mike's Pastry. (which is a must stop if your in Boston) But the white chocolate chip cookie was one of the best I've had. A really enjoyed this Italian CAFE a lot, with homemade flavors and a modern, interesting decor. This place is located on Main St and is easy accessible due to available parking on the street and in parking lots. This place stresses that it is a cafe, not a restaurant, so the decor is basic, with the typical tablecloths, four tables, paper settings, and a chalkboard with their interesting, authentic menu. The service was great, chatty, professional, and helpful when ordering. The menu consists of homemade soups, salads, Italian appetizers, grinders, sandwiches, and "Mumma Meals" which are pasta and meat dishes. We started off with a nice garden salad, which was a great deal and a hefty portion. Everything was fresh. The lettuce was crispy, the onions and tomatoes were nice, the dressing was yummy, and their garlic bread was amazing! I had the chicken parm with penne. The portions are the biggest, but the prices are very cheap, so the food to price ratio is about the same as a generous Italian restaurant. The flavors were homemade and original, with a very strong organic tomato taste. The chicken was very tender and the pasta was cooked perfectly. There wasn't much cheese, but it was a nice meal. We had a baked ziti, which isn't on their chalkboard menu, but they do serve it. Again, portions are huge. The ziti was cooked well and they use the same sauce for most of their dishes. The dish was well seasoned. Each dish comes with a piece of yummy garlic bread. We ordered a lasagna with Italian sausage as well. The lasagna had a great consistency, although it didn't have many layers to it. The pasta was great and the sausage was seasoned well. The three entrees we had were all better than average and were quite surprising. They also have a great bakery, although by 7:30, a half-hour before they close, they were out of a lot. The bakery items are very cheap. Make sure to try their pistachio and white chocolate cookies, since they were sweet and yummy. read more

We've been to this small family run restaurant twice since moving into the area. The first time was on a Sat. We had chicken Parmesan and eggplant Parmesan, both were superb. However a few months later, my wife and I had the same items on a Sunday and the pasta was way over cooked and mixed in with some el dente pasta. We also noticed that the owner was not there and perhaps fill-ins were cooking the food. I may try this restaurant one more time but not on a weekend. I would say the first time it was a four and half stars and the second time one and half stars. read more

My wife and I finally got a chance to stop in to this new spot in Wareham, after being enticed by the menu, and our love of Italian food. Sorry to say, we were disappointed! I got the Veal Parmesan with ziti. The portion size was great for the price of $8.99. However the tomato sauce was awful. It was very acidic, so strong that I could not finish the meal. (which never happens). The piece of veal was a good size and fairly thick, however it was also very dry, when covered with the tomato sauce only made it less appetizing! We had gotten the food as take out, otherwise I would have returned it. My wife got the chicken, broccoli and ziti. Her chicken was heavily breaded which deteriorated leaving bare flavorless chicken. She was not impressed! The restaurant looked and smelled great. the chatter we had heard was that the place was very good. Maybe we caught them on a bad day. We'll see if we will try them again in an effort to support a local business. read more
