I saw this place on Facebook. So we decided to try it out. We were greeted by Christine with a huge smile and bubbly personality. My son and I felt very welcome. The decode inside was very nice and gave off a park vibe. We ordered our food and sat and ate. My son got the Italian and said it was great and I cot the club. The bacon they put on it was some of the best tasting bacon I have ever tasted. And the sandwich was delicious. The only thing I would say was just ok, was the Mac salad. It was on the bland side. I saw one of them food influencers recommended this place, and I live not far from them, but they only open until 3pm daily. Yesterday I had to rush there before they close. But not here, super friendly ladies. The place is big, I thought is one of those subway place, have like 3-5 tiny tables, I'll say they probably have like 10-15 tables? I bet they are crazy during lunch hours. Since is my first time there, I told the lady at the counter, she pointed to the menu the one with the star next to it is their most famous. I ordered number 51 "Bomb" is all meat pastrami and cheese. Very good, to some, probably one of the best pastrami sandwich, but I like my sandwich with some lettuce and tomato's in it, so next time when I go back, I will do the Italian Sub, I think that's what it call. The Resturant appeared clean. I went with a six inch Italian sandwich to go. The employee was kind who took my order and the sandwich was ready right away. It was very tasty with veggies and juices. I used to come here at once a week before I moved across town years ago. The food was always so fresh and delicious and the service is fast. Stopped by today and alot has changed. It's twice the size and very bright and clean. Same delicious food and great service. The only drawback is the price hike. The $8 California crescent is almost $13 by itself. No chips or drink. I want to complain but it's a sign of the times and current economy. And DAMN this sandwich is good!!! read more

Being from the northeast this has been a very long quest with a lot of trials and mostly coming up short. the #19 definitely hits the spot that has been so hard to hit here in vegas. We stopped in around 1pm on a Thursday. It was clearly popular but it was very clean, not too loud, the server was friendly and the overall service was fast! Not to mention how incredible it smells in there! We got a French Dip (literally the best one I've ever had) and the Italian Sausage with Peppers. Wow and yum!!! Of course Yelp helped. I went with build your own in which you choose bread, meat, and toppings. Roast beef, white bread, lettuce, tomato, olives, mayo, and mustard. I also got some minestrone soup. The sandwich was one of those ones you can't your mouth around, wads huge. The meat was fresh, bread was fresh, all of it was fresh. The soup was an added bonus. My friend had the French dip. Sandwiches are all about the bread. My friends bread looked delicious. He said his sandwich was really good as he was inhaling it. Kind of a let down. Read all the killer reviews. Place has been there for decades. Staff was very nice and pricing was decent. Ordered the meatball and sausage sub on garlic bread. First the bread was tough like leather. The meatballs were frozen and not home made. The sausage was just Ok. The marinara was super bland. Same carry over on my split pea soup. No flavor and super watery. Last, I had ordered an Italian to go. Nothing special about the sandwich either. For sure not going back anytime soon. Munch-a-sub was on my list of places to visit in the valley for nearly 2 months. First, the location was closed over the holidays (Xmas through new year's), which is understandable and then was also closed after President's Day due to remodeling. I suppose the 3rd time was the charm. I finally caught them open for business on the right day. The establishment was certainly busy during lunch hours. You walk in order at the counter and my hot sub was ready within approximately 5 minutes. Very plain tables and chairs, result in an ambiance that says they focus more on the food than the decor, which is not bad. The opportunity is the pricing. Lunch - 12", a bag of chips, and a soda was $19.04. I would go again and perhaps try a different sub but I can't say that I would ever consider adding munch-a-sub to the lunch repertoire due to the cost/pricing and value proposition. Don't get me wrong the meat seemed like a superior quality to the large chain shops but I do not see marginal cost justifying the marginal quality of Munch-a-sub. read more

I had high hopes after reading reviews and I have to say it was mediocre. The staff is very friendly. The sandwiches are over priced. I got a 12" sandwich, soup and 1 drink and it cost me $28.00. The sandwich was huge though. The sandwich had too much meat I couldn't even close it and the bread is not that great. I also ordered soup being a mom and pop type place I would have thought the soup was homemade but it tastes like Campbells soup. My recommendation would be change the bread to fresh baked rolls, put less meat on the sandwich and charge a little less. Not loving the soups either. Try making some in house. read more
