What an excellent burger joint! While it doesn't specifically say it on the menu, their single burgers are basically smash burgers, which is why most of their burgers are double-patty. Depending on how hungry you are, this may or may not be a good option for you, but I ordered a single patty and was just fine. The fries were good, but I missed that they had tater tots, or I would have ordered those instead. Because the burger was so tasty, I won't deduct a star for having Pepsi. Sadly, I honestly don't know what mob ties Vegas has with the Pepsi folks, but it's my only major complaint about most Vegas hotels. Service was good. They call (ok, YELL) your name when the order is ready to be picked up, so don't travel far. read more

We had their butter hot dog, classic burger with one patty, and regular fries. The hot dog was good. Nicely toasted buttered bun and crisp hot dog with a snap when you bite into it. They'll add basically any spread you want - ketchup, mustard, mayo. Fries are pretty basic. Eat them fast since they get cold quickly. We came in because we heard they had a burger inspired by the movie "The Menu". They said it's now called the Classic on their menu. We ordered that but with one patty. Overall a very good burger. Beef patty has good seasoning. The melted cheese and onions were flavorful. Like the hot dog, they have good buns here and toast them. Came here on a Wednesday evening. Have heard a lot about this place and wanted to try it when it wasnt so busy. I got the original roadside combo. The cashier was nice, prompt and courteous. When the food came out, everything looked good. Wasn't thrilled about the paper plate, but im sure that is a takeaway from when they opened. The burger lived up to the hype, even though my order was wrong. I wasnt hip on the fries. They were just warm. Between the order being wrong and the cold fries, it was a headscratcher since there was only one person a head of me that ordered. I tried Irv's Burgers twice now and have no desire to come back. The first time I ordered their classic Butter Dog and regular fries. It was nothing special, just an average hot dog with freshly cooked skinny fries. Recently I visited again and ordered the Chili Cheese Dog and Loaded tots. Yes, I am aware that they have burgers and sandwiches but just happened to be in the mood for a hot dog. The meat to bread ratio was very disappointing! It was 20% hot dog and like 80% bread. The hot dog was a little overcooked as well. The Loaded tots were pretty much all chili with a few pieces of bacon. Sadly, going to Costco and buying their hot dog combo would have been the wiser choice! Also, why is the wait time here always ridiculously long? On a weeknight when the line was a lot shorter, there were 3 other customers ahead of me and I still waited 20+ minutes for my order. The only positive feedback I have is that the cashier working that night was friendly (sorry, didn't catch her name). I thought Irv's Burgers was fantastic. We waited in a short que for a bit of time, but they make everything when you order so I can see why the line takes a bit of time. They also make sure to give you your drink right away, so the person who took your order will walk away to do that, regardless if it's a bottle of water or a full blown shake. I liked being able to see inside the kitchen and watch them cook the meal. This adds a nice bit of flair to your experience. There are quite a few tables near where you order that you can wait or even sit at once you get your food. The wait for the burgers themselves wasn't too crazy, so I didn't get hangry at them. Our burgers were incredibly tasty and I loved the chili cheese fries. We also got onion rings and they were perfectly seasoned and absolutely crispy. Very similar to an In N Out double double. I made my lunch a combo and ordered onion rings for the side. Everything was freshly made and tasty. Being in a casino, this place lacks atmosphere. Where you order looks like an old fashioned walk-up burger joint. But sitting in a food court booth staring at slot machines kind takes you out of it. Total impulse buy at 9 in the morning but it's was solid! My chili cheese fries were on point, the chili was savory and balanced and the fries remained crispy throughout the meal. My pastrami wasn't my favorite, it was good but the protein was definitely sweeter than I prefer and it wasn't generous on the portioning, I am happy I tried it but I wouldn't get it again. After my original review, the owner reached out and offered a chance to give Irv's another shot--and look, I respect that kind of hustle. So I came back, belly empty and expectations cautiously optimistic. And folks... they delivered. This time, the burger was even better than before. I added grilled onions (pro tip: always add grilled onions), and it came out crunchy on the edges, juicy in the middle, and packed with flavor. Irv still knows his way around a condiment! And remember those tragic onion rings from last time? Yeah, total glow-up. These were crispy golden halos of joy. No signs of over-frying, no witness protection-level charring. Just beautiful, crunchy, properly-seasoned redemption rings. Now, not everything was perfect--there was a minor mix-up with our order (a missing burger and fries), so our tray got a short heat lamp timeout. And the soda was flatter than a Midwestern cornfield. BUT, the staff was quick to fix it and super friendly about it, which honestly goes a long way. Overall? Big-time comeback. The food was delicious, the service was great, and I left full and happy, not confused and disappointed. Respect to any restaurant that owns their mistakes and uses it as fuel to get better. This is by far the worst burger I've had in awhile. I was the only person in line, no one behind me and they were already making two orders ahead of me. Takes 13 minutes to get a Best Burger on "The Menu" and some fries. No idea what the extra black crusted fat was included for, but it looked disgusting. Meat is overcooked and there is no flavor. Love Durango's food court - There is an entrance on the side - great if you don't like going thru the main casino entrance. Came on our lunch break which was not well planned as it took us 20 minutes just to order. The food however was quickly prepared. Turkey burger with hatch chili was delicious. This famous Irv's Burgers fast food chain that first opened in West Hollywood, along Route 66, in 1946 is great and finally opened in Las Vegas! So a there was a short line. Other restaurants were not that busy for a weekday. This is my first experience with smashed burgers and yes it does tastes better. I had the Irv's original burger that is Pressed to order patty, toasted bun, American cheese, Irv's sauce, lettuce, tomato, onion and pickle. My friend ordered the Tuna Melt Sandwich House tuna salad, grilled onions, cheddar cheese, on toasted rye bread. Both sandwiches were good. My friend said the tuna melt was too rich for her. She more used to eating plain foods, so this was a bit much. I took a bite of it and it's tasty. My burger was great and I love it! I would love to come back next time and get an Orange Creamsicle drink. It's nostalgic for me and grab another burger or. Pastrami sandwich. Go up to the counter and ask about my order and they cannot find it. The kid who took my order seems oblivious. Maybe it is because I ordered on one register but paid cash and they had to use another register to make change. I dunno. Maybe I have a forgettable face. I'm 6'3" so I tend to blend in. Manager apologizes. Ask my order, Build it with lettuce that is it. Another person gets their order. He asked if he could get me a shake to apologize. It was kind. I thanked him. Got the order. Got the shake. Got to my car. Opened it up and it is literally a burger patty with lettuce...no cheese, no sauce that they are so proud of...but I did get French fries I did not order so that was nice. Maybe because it was near the bar and the game was on it was to hear. Gawd knows I went to enough concerts in my life, I have hearing damage. In conclusion: friendly manager. It was high quality beef, with a lot of flavor and perfectly cooked. I always like getting a burger the way the restaurant recommends it, and their style is a CLASSIC COMBO. Short line to order, got the double roadway yadda yadda burger combo. (With tater tots and a drink) all told for $19.25.. not bad for a casino meal. Maybe five minutes later, the order was ready. The tater tots were super crispy and crunchy. The burger (two patties) smashed with all the fixings was pretty tasty and sufficiently greasy to warm the cockles of my heart and would probably cause a cardiologist to cringe.
