$15 Spicy honey chicken banh mi
    Barbara D.

A food vendor at the Pearlridge Farmers Market! I'm a sucker for some good banh mi so decided to give this place a shot. I ordered the Spicy Honey Banh Mi and it was delicious. It had a lot of fresh veggies like cilantro, pickled daikon and carrots and it had a good spicy kick! Had quite a bit of jalapenos in it which I loved. The amount of chicken was sort of slim but overall had great flavor. My banh mi was $15 which I thought was pretty pricey. I saw another vendor with a ahi steak plate for $16 a few booths down. I'll come back again when I'm craving a spicy banh mi.

Packed full of different fresh and pickled veggies

Located in the Pearlridge Farmers Market. The bread was light fluffy and very recently baked. The vegetables were super fresh, cold and crisp. The blend of pickled veggies was perfect. I tried the spicy honey chicken which was delicious. The sandwich is packed full of flavors while surprisingly both light and filling at the same time. While pricey for $15 -it is Farmers Market and Hawaii. Well worth it. The ladies at the counter and friendly and nice. Definitely good and fast service. You can sit down at the tables and eat while listening to some local live music. Parking is plentiful

Sandwiches are very good. The bread is slightly crunchy and very soft. The pate and pickled daikon/carrots are homemade and is very good. Highly recommend trying this place out if you like Bahn Mi sandwiches. Can't wait to see if they open a restaurant.

Lol We had turkey ranch, machete, and Italian. No complaints from anyone. They do not skimp on filings which is great. The lady that was there was very friendly. I forgot to take photos. So I guess you gotta go try for yourself.

First off, their sandwiches are thickkk! Thick slices of homemade bread, tons of fresh meats, and veggies. This place has been on my hubby's places to try list and we finally checked it off the list! We went with their Turkey Avocado Bacon sandwich. He was so impressed when he saw the worker slicing the turkey fresh onto the sandwich. This sandwich is pretty basic and includes turkey, avocado spread, bacon, lettuce, tomato, & mayo. You can add on more veggies at no charge such as cucumber, onion, oregano, & even hot mustard. The sandwich itself was good but for $13.99 I wish they had fresh avocado or added more avocado spread because I didn't taste any of it. Second, the bread was really soft with a bit of a chewy crust. It's made fresh daily so you know it's quality. Overall, it was a pretty good sandwich but nothing special. Maybe we have to try a different sandwich with different meats next time!

I'm amazed how fast they were when making sandwiches for me and my parents. The workers were attentive and swift. There was an assembly line of them making the sandwiches in house. It was towards the end of the day so they ran out of most of their choice's of bread , tomato, and sprouts (complimentary toppings) which is no biggie. Ordered three "Vinny" which is like an Italian sandwich with wheat bread (which all they had that night) my choice of seasonings, oil and red onions. It was well made sandwich wrapped nicely, no spills since I had some oils, however I prefer to try that sandwich with a different bread next time and wish there was a little more protein. Inside the shop, was very clean, but bright like being in a yellow blue submarine that's trying to be tropical. Overall, it's a friendly atmosphere with the walls giving "military on tropical island vibes" lol I mean it is near base and they do have some variety of vickies and utz chips at the front of store. Will be back next time to try other options.

Timmy has a decent selection and prices are good. It's cheaper than Subway but they don't have as many hot heros as them. I have to ask for extra mayo because their bread is harder and dryer than what I'm use to in a grinder. Timmy T's does a good mix of naming their hoagies after American and Hawaiian themes. Overall three stars. It's not my favorite but they are reasonably priced and close to base. Flavor is there as long as you ask for extra mayo and oregano :p M

(This particular yelp review is only about their less than honest practices. I went recently and they had a sign (I should have taken a pic) that said bentos different varietys $6.49..but when you go to the register each bento is priced different. My friend pointed this out to them so they honored his $10 bento giving it to him for $6.49 and said they let management know and they would fix it. I went to check if they changed or pulled this very misleading bait and switch sign down.. which they did not. A very dishonest practice and also against the law. I took the sign down and when I returned 1 hour later they put up the same sign again which proves it wasnt a mistake it was a dishonest tactic to cheat the public their patrons. They just want you to grab it because its advertised as a good deal and if you dont notice you get rung up a higher price. My friend said depending on which bento the prices vary from 8 - more than $10. So if they purposely do this in the deli they could be using this tactic throughout the store... Its a beautiful market with the majority being good people but this practice aint cool and once trust is broken its hard to get it back. I am hoping thier HR dept comments we will see.
