Their parking lot is far smaller than their dining area promises, so be mindful during rush hours. We really enjoyed the fish tacos, which had fresh and flavorful fish, lightly grilled with fresh cabbage and veggies. The order comes with three tacos for a very filling meal, and a homemade salsa for an extra tang if you like. We also tried the cucumber gazpacho. Perfectly light and refreshing on a hot Houston summer afternoon. If it's still on the menu, I'd recommend it any time. I also had a blackened chicken salad, which came in a huge portion. I really like Bellagreen for the most part! Their menu feels healthy without being bland. I've liked pretty much everything I've ever ordered and especially love their pizzas, particularly the pepperoni and fig and pig. You can often see them hand making the dough near the counter area when you place your order. The counter service is fine, but the managers (I believe) have always been extra friendly and helpful, checking in to make sure your meal is going well. Their menu has something for everyone and they typically have some additional seasonal items depending on the time of year. The only downside I've experienced is with some pick up orders. I live *very* close, aka just taking an elevator down to pick up my food, and I once received breakfast tacos that were already cold and were so sparsely filled that I condensed them into two tacos instead of the three it comes with. Their mobile app could also use a lot of work but that's just me being picky! Overall I think this is a great spot with convenient parking which is always a win in Houston! read more

I haven't written a review in a long time but this is such a dumb circumstance that I have to say something. I stopped going to this location because they couldn't figure out how to make a chicken sandwich that wasn't completely dry or a tiny withered piece of chicken. I finally came back to try it out. I found out that I really love their fried fish tacos. However, I hate the habanero sauce. For many visits I asked for "dry" tacos - no sauce. It worked for 2 visits - delicious. Last time, I came in and requested again. When I got the tacos I noticed they had been previously dipped in habanero sauce as if they accidentally prepared it wrong and didn't think I'd notice. Only the fish was soggy with the sauce they drenched it in. I ate it and didn't complain. It was gross. I thought I'd try again today. I explained to the cashier what happened last time to avoid repeating the mistake. She stoically placed the order without acknowledging what happened. No apology. I waited for the food. It was drenched with habanero. I sent it back. The guy who delivered it - no apology and didn't listen either. A few minutes later I got the dry tacos with no sauces at all. I had to ask for the pico and the peach chipotle (two additional trips) then was told how I should order it next time - which was exactly how I ordered it this time. Bellagreen did a great job of turning the boring grilled chicken sandwich into something that is both tasty and aesthetically pleasing. I had never even of mango ranch dressing before and it really helped this sandwich stand out. The sweet potato fries came out crispy and hot. Seasoning was sufficient. I liked them without the ketchup that they provide. Buuuut I have to take some points away after getting a taste of my friend's order. She got the brick chicken and sweet potato mash. Chicken was pretty solid. Marinated well, and I enjoyed the unique taste that brick oven had to offer. However, the mash was very unappealing and neither of us could find the appetite to even finish a third of it. Very bland with a consistency that is much more loose and slippery than your typical potato mash. The roasted vegetables were nothing special so in the end, she really paid $20 for the chicken alone. Staff was very friendly. Beverages and condiments are self serve. I'd be willing to avoid the sweet potato mash and give this place another shot. read more

As someone with celiac (strict gluten-free), I really appreciated the options available at this place and their care with making things careful in terms of cross-contamination as well as having a gluten-free fryer. The restaurant is quite large with both indoor and outdoor seating, pretty clean, and usually not too crowded. It's an order at counter type of place and they bring your food to the table. The non-salad entrees that are both gluten-free and vegetarian, a bit more limited, but there are definitely a few options. I opted for the veggie tacos and also ate some fries. The sauces served with the tacos were nice, and I appreciated the mix of vegetables in the tacos. Given this place is more of an American bistro, I don't think tacos are necessarily their specialty item, so they were not bad but not incredible. The fries were great! I drove past another location recently and figured it was time to write about my time here considering they are spreading their wings in the Houston area. The three things I enjoy about this place are: 1. Friendly portion sizes; the entrees have quantity that does Texas proud. Appetizers such as the organic spinach dip (definitely recommend) brought the bigs to it since we couldn't finish it due to saving room for the entrees. 2. Organic/freshness of the dishes; a variety of soups/salads/sandwiches that use those quality ingredients with no alterations. Tacos/pizzas/entrees are also served with the same characteristics. The spinach salad stood out to me the most so went with that and added grilled chicken for a complete meal. Salad had crunch, zestiness, and texture with the red onion, hard boiled egg, and bacon mixed in. The chicken was a friendly piece although a bit dry after a few bites, maybe I should've eaten it quicker? Oh well. 3. The hybrid fast casual/sit-down dining; they have indoor and outdoor seating and you order up at the register. They bring the food to you at your area and they have servers that clear plates and bring you items/necessities if you need. Everything comes out quickly depending on crowds. We ordered a few things off the menu from the sticky wings to the cauliflower wings which both had the same sauce but I love that they give people who aren't meat eaters an option also. It's so many things on the menu for everyone who may be on the mood for different things it was hard for us to choose from salads to pizzas to wraps and burgers I wanted them all but there was no way I would have made it out of there ordering everything lol. We loved the kale Caesar salad so much that we can back the next day for lunch to get it again. The portion sizes are shareable for sure especially if you're not too hungry!
