They had a lot difficulty in contacting other customers. we arranged for my items (which had been cleaned and de - smoked) mailed to me and I received my two coats. Making my total of coats I owned at the time to three. I was glad to get clothing that survived the fire. Wish Antonio and Cira success in their new location. I also extend my hope that everybody who's been affected can find their footing and move on with the new chapters in their lives.

However I did bring a pair of silk pants in to be tailored. The tailor job took a week (ok) but when I picked it up, it was sub-par--threads hanging off and the hem came out after 1 day of wear. I brought the pants back to be repaired. The fix was said to be complimentary. Then when I came back a week later I was told that my original payment for the hem job didn't go through because the credit card machine was "down" and encouraged to check my bank statement to look for the charge. But, I KNEW I had paid cash in the original transaction. This was so sketchy. It was like they wanted to be able to "offer" a complimentary fix while tricking me into paying twice. Ironically I will have to take the pants for a third tailoring job because the hem job is still sub-par. Very weird and the whole thing left a terrible taste in my mouth. Now I hesitate to trust them with Dry Cleaning.

When I picked them up, the woman at the front charged me $19.95 per sweater. I actually thought she had just made a mistake with the total so I asked her to confirm the cost to dry clean a cashmere sweater and she confirmed $19.95. I know cashmere usually is more expensive to dry clean than other materials, but I think that's outrageous. I paid the total, but then I asked to see the price list and she said they didn't have one! The whole thing was pretty suspect, and I will never go there again. Not to mention, the woman upfront was very rude during the whole thing. I believe they might simply make up pricing as they go and see what they can get away with. I'll admit, that often times I will pick up dry cleaning, pay the bill, and not really pay close attention to what each thing cost. Usually it's roughly what I'm imagining it to be. But in this case, I knew something was weird and I'm glad I asked. I truly do not recommend this business.
