This is update after figuring out what happened. My contact number was my home number (burned down house with no more phone line). An article in the local paper highlighted them and indicated where they were moved to (Pasadena). Having called the new number, Cira recognized me and was very apologetic about the confusion. They had a lot difficulty in contacting other customers. we arranged for my items (which had been cleaned and de - smoked) mailed to me and I received my two coats. Making my total of coats I owned at the time to three. I was glad to get clothing that survived the fire. Wish Antonio and Cira success in their new location. I also extend my hope that everybody who's been affected can find their footing and move on with the new chapters in their lives. read more

something shady is going on here... The space is large and beautiful. almost feels like a 1960's gas station converted into a dry cleaners. And I've never had a problem with Dry Cleaning. However I did bring a pair of silk pants in to be tailored. The tailor job took a week (ok) but when I picked it up, it was sub-par--threads hanging off and the hem came out after 1 day of wear. I brought the pants back to be repaired. The fix was said to be complimentary. Then when I came back a week later I was told that my original payment for the hem job didn't go through because the credit card machine was "down" and encouraged to check my bank statement to look for the charge. But, I KNEW I had paid cash in the original transaction. This was so sketchy. It was like they wanted to be able to "offer" a complimentary fix while tricking me into paying twice. Ironically I will have to take the pants for a third tailoring job because the hem job is still sub-par. Very weird and the whole thing left a terrible taste in my mouth. Now I hesitate to trust them with Dry Cleaning. read more

I am trying to track down my wedding suit that I had cleaned there before the fires. It's really the only piece of clothing of any meaning or value that survived. Tried calling several times but "call failed" is all I get. Any idea on where all the clothes that were in there and survived went?? Please respond and let me know where I can pick up my suit. Do NOT trust them with your valuable items. They are very irresponsible and outright liars. Cannot believe how they are still functioning in palisades!! Stay away if your item is worth anything more than $50. read more

Regal does a great job! I am so happy with them- they go the extra mile!!!! I used a different cleaners that closed and was concerned that I wouldn't find another one. They are much better and easier to work with. read more

I have been taking my clothes to Regal cleaners for 25 years and I am a very satisfied customer. Their prices are reasonable and their work is excellent. Many times I have felt that my clothes were ruined and Regal always gets the stains out.They also do excellent seamstress work. They clean my clothes quickly, and frequently when I am in a hurry they bring my clothing out to my car,so that I never have to get out of my vehicle. they are conveniently located across from Gelsons market. Was treated well by staff but work was horrific: $75 for unclean clothes. "We make no promises." You shouldn't make business then moron! Please see photos. Frankly I'd be willing to pay $100 for the convenience, but at least clean the god damn clothes. read more

That Lady has tried most of the Cleaners in town. She has more than her share of designer labels, high end garments and a few custom made outfits. She has seen clothes ripped, wrong buttons put on, stains added and garments lost. Her experience has led her to Regal. She has had few mistakes. They pick up and deliver and can do special items. They also have a discount coupon program. She has been happy with their stain removal and cleaning. Being allergic to perchloroethylene, she appreciates their non toxic cleaning system. read more

I just moved into town. On my very first visit to Regal they lost two silk white blouses. I called them and they said the receipt said beige which is not white, and that I waited too long and there was nothing they could do. Total value 700. I will never bring my business to them again. read more

Regal Cleaners was great when things were good but that immediately changed when I had one issue with their service. I was a regular, loyal, happy customer for over five years. Twice a week they would pick up and deliver my dry cleaning. I spent thousands of dollars a year. One day I sent in a nice, designer leather jacket. It was returned to me a different color. Totally different - it was an antiqued chocolate brown it came back tan. They blamed in on their third party leather guy and offered to have it dyed. But they acknowledged that they would never be able to get it back to its original look. At their request I brought it to the manufacturer who confirmed it would not be able to be returned to its original condition. Regal then blamed the manufacturer for the problem. It was all pretty ridiculous. The jacket is no longer available so I didn't even ask them to replace it. I am a very easy going customer. I would have been happy if they acknowledged their mistake and offered me some store credit (even for only part of the jacket's value.) Instead of handling the issue in a professional manner they simply asked the delivery guy to stop coming to my house. Pretty awful customer service. Don't use them. Much better options in the Palisades and Santa Monica. read more

I had a terrible experience at Regal today. And Regal does very pool quality cleaning!!! My daughter and I dropped off her prom dress to be altered and cleaned and I went to pick it up three days later. Regal put three holes into the fabric where the stains were and put pin holes in the satin straps where they did some alteration. When I pointed my concerns out to the customer service rep at the counter, he commented that it was an old dress... I asked to fill out a damage report and they said they do no such thing. I continued to express concern and asked to speak to the owner and the guy said 'no way! and that I 'would have to look that up!' He said, 'I will not call the owner for you or ever give you his name.' He then took the dress and said if I did not leave he would call the police and was about to throw the dress out the door? Very odd reaction to a customer's concern over a hole appearing where they attempted to remove a stain. Regal is dishonest, rude, not detailed, expensive, inexperienced, and treat their customers like trash. Awful experience, awful service and awful care for others' clothes. AVOID REGAL, if you care about your clothes. read more

This place is beyond outrageously expensive. I dropped off 15 items--dresses (including little kids dresses) and pants-- and they charged me $300 to dry clean them! When I complained he said the price was originally higher and that he had already given me a discount. I am in shock. I could have gotten new clothes for this price. Will never go back here again. What a rip off. Just because we live in the palisades doesn't mean we are made of money. It doesn't give you a license to rip us off. I am telling everyone I know not to go here. read more

Not so "regal", great place to get FLEECED. It actually pains me to write this review but after seeing that I am not the only one that gone has gone through this, I feel it is important that people know what is going on here. The third time was the charm. I understand mistakes can happen and you can mistakenly be charged for dry cleaning when all you wanted was a shirt to be washed and pressed. So the first two times this happened I chalked it up to my not being clear enough with the staff and made it a point to be extra clear next time so that NO mistake could be made. Wash and press, light starch, laundry, not dry cleaning these were all mentioned several times and we even had a discussion about how an old place I used to go to would always dry clean anyway and over charge. All this, to no avail. I go to pick up 2 shirts to the tune of $20. At this point I was lied to and told it was because these type of shirts can ONLY be dry cleaned. A 'special' kind of cotton I guess... Interesting because I have never been told that before by them or any other cleaner, nor was I told that when I dropped the shirts off and had the whole discussion about laundering, not dry cleaning. And NO, at this point I do not want a discount or a refund because that is not the point. You had the chance to win my business by treating my right in the first place, giving me what I asked for, not lying to me and not overcharging me. I am so disappointed because the employees here seemed so nice but there comes a point when you realize that these things are not mistakes, this is their common business practice. If you don't mind being lied to and over charged, then you will love Regal Cleaners! What a shame.. read more

Regal lost one of my dresses I dropped off for tailoring. I dropped off 3 items for tailoring and only received 2 back. When I went back to alert them, they said they would look into it but definitely made me feel like they thought I wasn't telling the truth. I had to go back a second time and then finally received a phone call today in which they said I had picked it up already, cased closed, again insinuating I wasn't telling the truth. I understand mistakes happen and things get lost but the way I was treated during the process was unacceptable. I will never return. read more

I am in town for a birthday party and our clothes were wrinkled from the trip. Didn't have access to an iron so dropped by here to see if they could press 2 shirts a blazer and a khaki dress. Explained that I was in town and needed a quick press. The guy was cool and said it would be $17. Great!! However when I picked the items up they wanted $46!! The first guy comes out and says the price was just for the dress. Sorry for the misunderstanding with a smile...yeah. Didn't like the vibe, and didn't want to risk my wife's dress so I paid it.
