He has a lot of experience in the dry cleaning business. I always get good service and they know what they are doing. Also they have easy parking on the side of their building. When I took my business here in early 2020, I was told they will charge $1.95 per men's shirt to be machin washed and even offered free delivery due to Covid. I just picked up 9 shirts and realized they had charged me more than $4.75 for each shirt. When I confronted them, they claimed they must dry clean the shirts that clearly says machin wash. When I asked why for the last few months they have been willing to machin wash instead of dry clean, he simply said "sorry it must be dry cleaned." Clearly a switch and bate scenario. Question your statements if you prefer to use them. Stay away is my preference. read more

Last week, I took my new white skirt to this place, asking the owner if he could clean two small yellow oily spots. He claimed he could do it and charged me $8.0 for his service. Five days later, not only the original spots were still there, the oily spots covered by a much larger yellow stain. I left the damaged skirt for the second time. To my astonishment, the color was not white anymore and was yellow. The owner refused to fix his mistake and claimed the item was old. I showed him the receipt, how much I paid, and used it once. He suggested taking it to the manufacturer and asking them to clean the damaged skirt. I took his comments as unwarranted, unprofessional, and rude. The least he could have done was acknowledge his mistake. Initially, I paid 80.0 for my skirt and had to reorder another one, costing me $160.0 plus wasting time and aggravation. After many years as a loyal client, I decided not to use this place anymore. Many other similar businesses treat clients with respect and love to earn your business. The owner should realize that his job is to provide professional service and not to be impolite and disrespectful. read more

This place has a great location. The prices were on the high side, although they do give 1st time discounts. If you make the mistake of paying in advance, and the items are not clean, they will not re-do them for you. The main lady is very rude. I waited for a long time while she went back and forth on prices, items, schedule, cleaning vs laundering etc. even though I just needed to pick up my items and they were already paid for. My items still had hair on them, which was the only reason I had brought that item in and she told me she was going to charge me again to clean an item I had already paid to clean. Because of the lack of professionalism, I would not recommend this place. I've worked with these guys maybe a dozen times, and everything has been done well. No surprises, no problems. This past year has been tough on all business and we came very close to loosing this great place. FINALLY! I have found my dry cleaner in Westwood. I have searched far and near, high and low to find a decent place out here to get my clothes washed without feeling like I was taken to the cleaners, and this place fit the bill I dropped off a suit and two shirts to get cleaned and the bill came out to $12, very reasonable for this area! I took some clothes up the street to the fancier place and ended up paying DEARLY for it. The cost was exorbitant, the service was crappy. I will keep coming back here and over time if I see that the service holds up and my clothes are still coming back nice and clean, I will upgrade the stars. For now, I reserve judgement partially as I was a first time customer and businesses show their true colors only after multiple visits. I shall return! read more

I've been coming here for years. The sewer always has major attitude and I've had a couple of issues in the past with them ruining my clothes but that's fine, because it's nearly impossible to find a friendly, great and inexpensive cleaner so I continued going here regularly. Recently, I gave them a few white items on separate days and they all came back with this EXTREMELY strong chemical smell. I tried everything to get rid of it and even tried wearing one all day but nothing worked. I took them back to the cleaners and after some back and forth and negotiating, they finally accepted fault and agreed to take them back. (It's crazy that they couldn't even accept fault immediately.) I went back to pick them up and the smell is only stronger now. As angry as I am, especially because the three items cost over $1,000, I calmly went back again to them and asked them to pay the cost of another cleaner down the street take care of it for me since clearly they weren't able to. The gentleman there immediately retracted and denied any fault and was extremely rude and disrespectful towards me. He didn't do one thing to help and told me that I can wear the clothes as is. I wish everyone on yelp can smell how bad these clothes are - I can't even be close to them without getting a headache!! I know this is an inexpensive cleaner and but they made a BIG mistake and the least they can do is accept it and pay to fix it. Instead, they're losing me and my extended network as customers and I hope whoever is reading this will also not want to risk ruining their expensive clothes by giving them to such incompetent and rude people. read more

I've been coming here for years, today i go to pick up 3 polo shirts and one non polo . Gal says there's nothing in the computer for me when i go to pick them up. She tells me to come back after 5 pm to see owner . I go back and he says there's nothing for me in computer, he makes zero effort to look for them....doesn't leave counter. I didn't keep receipt because i was out of USA working. He was rude, and I've been around the block , the reason he didn't look was because he knows what he did with my clothes. This dude is a straight up CROOK..... 100%. Scumbag i wouldn't give him one star but it wouldn't post without one . He was so so rude, made zero effort to look for one second.......because he knows . They're open during covid. Prices are fair relative to those in the area. Dry cleaned dress shirts are around 5 dollars. If they're cotton and only need to be laundered then it's around 2 dollars. Turn around time is pretty quick ~around a couple days. They're professional and do a good job. Would return and recommend. read more

I'm happy with the quality and they have never messed my delicate and special care fabrics. I'm confident in giving them my pricy piece of clothing. The owners, a married couple, have anger management issues. I brought a sweater in with a sticker on the suede pocket. I asked if they could get the sticker off. The wife told me she would ask her husband and he would give me a call the next day. The next day, I did NOT recieve a call. When I came in the following day to see what they could do, they brought my sweater out with a pocket that appeared damaged from scrubbing. When I asked why they proceeded without calling me, the wife and then the husband, became irate, using obsenities, calling me names, etc. Foul ball. Horrible business. No ethics. AWFUL experience and I highly recommend you go to another nearby cleaners to AVOID this business. I just moved into the neighborhood and for my first experience at this cleaners I brought two suits in to be tailored. I was told the alterations would take four days. I came back when I was told and the woman at the front couldn't seem to find my items. After waiting for several minutes I then learn the suits weren't ready. Fine, they fucked up, I'll come back tomorrow. I come come back the next day and I try on my newly altered clothes and find that one of the two pairs of pants were cut too tight. They say that they would fix the alteration and to come back in a three days. I come back three days later and again the woman at the front can't find my pants. How incredibly disorganized that the two times I come in to pick up items they have difficulty finding them. I asked to speak to a manager because I was under a time crunch and frustrated with my experience. As I am talking with him I notice a pair of pants strikingly similar to mine at the tailor's work station. The manager tells me they are my pants but unfortunately the tailor hasn't gotten to them yet. Again I am asked to come back because they weren't ready when they told me they were going to be. How many times do I have to come back to get an item? The answer is four times. I come back later that evening and the pants are altered. I take them home and think the experience is over. But it's not. Today I get a call saying that they gave me the wrong pair of pants and asked me to come back yet again to exchange them for the right pair of pants. What kind of manager of a business doesn't double check to make sure he is giving his customer the right product, alters the wrong product, and then lets the customer later walk out with it? I bring in the pants this evening to exchange for my pants and again express my frustration as a first time customer and with how bad my experience was. I ask if I can have a refund. I haven't mentioned to you Yelpers yet that I spent $120 on alterations for only two suits! The manager refuses any kind of refund. I tell him this is no way to run a buisiness and he was going to lose me as a customer after this and I have no problem writing a bad review on Yelp. What would hurt his buiseness more, refunding me for a lousy experience or tarnish his reputation. THE MANAGER RAISES HIS VOICE TO ME in a "how dare you threaten me" tone and he shows me the door. I'm sorry to have to disagree so completely with the last reviewer but our experience with United Plus has been disasterous. I think it's the kind of place that's fine if all you want done are your dress shirts -- but then again they might LOSE THEM, which is what they did to my husband's favorite pair of pants. He's a hard to fit size, and buys his clothes online from Asian sites. This was TOTALLY NOT COOL to lose his pants. But that was not the worst, unfortunately: the same day we turned in those pants, we also left with them a silk comforter (silk wadding inside/silk outside). I told my husband to emphasize to them that it could not be handled like the average comforter, and TELL THEM IT IS SILK THROUGHOUT. He did. We came back a week later to no pants, and a comforter in a plastic bag which we assumed was dry cleaned. I opened the bag that evening and to my complete horror it was not only full of lumps which indicated it had been put in a machine and tumbled, but it was DAMP, which indicated it had been laundered instead of dry-cleaned. Completely ruined it. 300 bucks down the drain. I asked my husband to go back and complain; they only gave him 100 dollars of credit, which we now are using up for the only thing they apparently do well: shirts. read more

These guys are some unprofessional jerks. I've been going there for over six months. I'm in a wheelchair and frequently have wash and fold items to drop off. I used to have a friend who would also pick up the items and pay for them. Today they tried to claim that I try to get my laundry done for free. Really? I paid up front for one batch of two when I went in a couple of weeks ago. When I went to pick up the second batch, instead of charging me the $20 that I owed, the owner, Akmed, said he'd just charge me with the next batch. However, instead of giving me a price today, he said I owed for three batches. What kind of business is that? He should be stating a price, not how many batches. Then when I got upset, he proceeded to call me a b*tch. I called him a racist because that's all I could chalk it up to. How are you going to have a frequent customer, who has always paid you, and then claim they want their laundry for free? Terrible business. read more

Cheap place to get your work shirts laundered. However, you get what you pay for. My bf was bringing his work shirts there for about a year, but when we moved he decided to go to a closer place. Bf was told that one of his nicest shirts had a burn right on the chest. We had them attempt to get it out more than once because we were sure it had to be a stain. He was a bit confused because neither he nor I smoke, and he couldn't think of when he was around any thing that lit on fire at work. When he brought that shirt to the new cleaners, the burn (in actuality, a stain) disappeared. Also, at United you don't get the option to have your shirts machine or hand pressed. Apparently this makes a difference, because a machine press cannot be used for certain shirts and buttons. United must only use a machine press, and we had to get some buttons replaced because they cracked in half. I give United 3 stars, because they are extremely nice, and if it's just not worth it to you to iron your own shirts, then this is a cheap place to get your shirts looking nice. I wouldn't trust them with more though. Also, United has their own lot but I swear that everyone going to the Lebanese restaurant next door takes United parking. Also, people can not park in that lot, even though it is angled parking. read more

The owner and his son i believe are nice people. For 10 years my husband regularly drops of his shirts, and 7 years ago I joined with my stuff. First they would try to make a good deal, but now it's insane. They already mixed and lost 2 expensive shirts of my husband over a year ago, no compensation just sorry and moved on. The girl who works on the front was playing super important, self confident telling random prices, gave me a random highjacked price for curtains, which was tripple of what I paid 4 years ago for the same product. 3 days later I asked the owners for the price for same curtain, and it was definitely lower price, so different person different price? How is that possible? What kind of business does that? I don't trust them anymore and am not going to bring my stuff there, Until they don't sort out their price list and have it visible for everyone and finding solution for clients when the lose their products.
