Not great but not bad either. Pros: The quote process, which I started through Yelp, was straight forward. Unlike other companies there quote was all-inclusive. This is amazing for a mover! I've been suckered with extra fees before because the final location was "too far" from the loading dock, etc. Cons: communication. This could have been a whole lot better. So there arrived pretty much on time. They where pretty quick loading and that was a good experience. Arrival at my destination, not such a great experience and this is where the communication faltered. I paid to have the street parking reserved for both pick up and drop off. It was just going to be easier as parking in both neighborhoods would have been a nightmare and they would have ended up blocking the streets. I also paid them extra to arrive 2 days behind me (them storing my items). They didn't leave the starting point on time, so they messaged me that they were going to be a day late. Not good after I paid over $150 to reserve street parking. They understood this and made an effort to get to my destination on time and almost made it. Sadly they didn't arrive until after 6pm, which was the cut off for reserving parking. Because of this the blocked the street and briefly the garage of the neighboring building. So would I recommend them? Yes. But I would also recommend setting very clear expectations. read more

I have to say the movers were very nice, courteous, and respectful -- and almost every review I've read about this company mentions the same thing. They showed up on time and were pleasant to deal with throughout the process. That said, being nice doesn't move the furniture from the old house to the new one. The crew worked extremely slowly, and it honestly felt like they were stretching out the job rather than working efficiently. This isn't my first time moving, so I have a good sense of how long things should take, and this move took much longer than expected. While I appreciate their professionalism and good manners, I wouldn't use their service again because the speed and productivity just weren't there. read more

Don't do it... go American I think it's clear stalling is a tactic if they earning under $1k. My move was only about 15 boxes plus some packing with bags and it should have taken 4-5 hours at most. Instead, it ended up taking 7.5 hours, which was completely unreasonable. I also felt that I was treated like this because I'm a woman moving alone when my male family member were around , the movers suddenly started working faster. The constant smoke breaks and "five-minute" breaks that lasted 20 minutes forced me to start helping them move because they were moving so slowly. Either the younger or the older mover would disappear to the truck for a smoke break and take more than 15 minutes to come back. I would say a hour was stalling and smoke breaks. They also tried to charge me for everything, including pushing an raised bed that already had wheels tell me because it was heavy and they wasn't lifting it then I mentioned you're not moving any furniture. It's just boxes and bags. Would you charge extra to move a sofa then he call the dispatcher or manager and I'm explaining it to him that I don't have any furniture, it just boxes and bags and the planter had wheels on it just pushed it. added a $200 fee just because they couldn't park directly in front of my door. Then, after everything was finally done, the mover asked me for an extra $100 each on top of the $800 I had already paid. He acted like the $50 tip I gave each of them wasn't enough and tried to pressured me to give more. On top of that, they broke 3 of my flower planters, each worth $40-$60. Looking back, I should have realized he was going to try to charge me extra for something when he started asking about the cost of my belongings and how much it costs to live where I do. The team showed up on time. They were very efficient with packing everything up and putting it on the truck they were also very efficient at unloading everything into the apartment. I really appreciated how they assembled my bed in my new apartment. They assembled it exactly how I asked them to and they were diligent about keeping track of where everything was. for example, at first, I didn't know where the remotes were, but I messaged the company and they told me exactly where they delivered it to in the new apartment. The company was very responsive before and after the move only thing is, I think they ran out of moving boxes but aside from that everything was perfect. I have no complaints. Okay...... I hired MUSA Moving and Storage for my move based on all of the wonderful 5 Star reviews. I initially arranged for a two-person team ($120 per hour). Once I started packing up my 1-bedroom apartment, I decided to hire a three-person team ($150 per hour). I paid a $600 deposit. Dealing with Alex was amazing. He answered all of my questions and concerns. He responded to emails, texts and telephone calls very promptly. I was a little confused in the beginning because at some point I received a text from one of their other moving companies called "First Movers" (I have no idea what kind of reviews they have under that name). Moving day came. The guys showed up on time. The first question to me was if I could "put it somewhere" referring to my dog. Apparently, the mover had allergies. I of course told him "NO". I had notified Alex prior to moving day that I had an older very sweet dog whose leash I would be holding for the entire duration of the move. Additionally, there was a language barrier with two of the three movers. At one point there were several of my brooms and part of a hanging dish rack with metal hooks resting on a large piece of art. Towards the end of the move it took all three movers 13 minutes to remove the refrigerator door off of my refrigerator so it can fit through the front door. At $150.00 per hour, 13 minutes seems like an eternity. The move went relatively smoothly. My 1 Bedroom apartment took three men 6.5 hours to move 4.8 miles away. The total cost was $975.00 plus tips for each guy. At the end I paid the balance in cash. The mover that spoke English asked if I can review on YELP at that moment. I obviously said no, because I needed to unpack and look at things first. Shortly after the move I noticed a large chip in the wood leg of my Restoration Hardware leather couch. That couch had been delivered via white glove delivery to my previous apartment with the legs assembled inside of the apartment in order to fit through my front door. The legs were NOT removed for this move. I notified Alex and sent him a photo of the couch leg via text. He texted back within the hour saying he will look at the image. Alex is arranging for the repair of the couch leg this week. read more

The two gentlemen, AJ and Sergey, that showed up precisely at the time that they had arranged with me the day prior, and even though I needed them totally last minute, they couldn't have been more helpful! They were so professional and because I have a disability with my legs, they made sure that I didn't have to do any work at all and got it done incredibly fast! They took extra special care for my expensive items and were the nicest guys ever. They moved my 85" flatscreen, electric reclining furniture, sit/stand desk, bed, bed frame, clothes, the kitchen, my computer and monitor, etc. There wasn't an item that they couldn't handle, even the challenging ones that I was concerned about they just tackled it like absolute machines! They were fantastic with my dog, they were great with my girlfriend, and they were exceptional with me! They moved my whole apartment on the third floor with absolute care and efficiency, and even the gentleman on the phone that I dealt with for arrangements and for the payment at the end provided incredible service to me. My experience was so great, I called them back a week later to move some other things I had that I was originally gonna just try moving myself. This is a very long and overdue review. However I hired these guys due to a moving I had to do with some delicate items, one of them was a glass display case. I felt horrible not rescheduling that day because it was one of the hottest weeks in Los Angeles last year. Sadly I couldn't due to me being evicted. However I appreciate them being troopers and patient with me as we went to my new living area. They're life savers, so good as getting my stuff safely to my new home which I currently am living. They're far much more economical than other movers that wanted to charge me way more for my glass case. Should I move or know people are moving, I'll def hire them. read more

I chose Ashton at Moving Help to transfer my fathers 1 br apartment in an assisted living facility to a studio apartment in another facility 7 miles away. I thought the move should take about 3 hours using 2 men and a truck. Overall, the transfer took 6 hours and ended up costing more than I expected. After discussing this with Ashton, he agreed to refund a portion of the fee.
