They took so long packing things, and unassembled everything, when it was time to put it back together they told my husband to do it, how incompetent can a mover be, if you don't know how to assemble it then don't disassemble things.they do this on purpose since there getting paid by the hour. They broke my dresser and I was never compensated. Had to call the supervisor 4 times,because the lead guy didnt know how to answer questions i was asking and the other two giys didn't speak English. I think these reviews are fake because they're the worst moving company I've ever had. They charged me triple the fee they estimated, they moved so slow it was ridiculous. Think of all the terrible things that could happen during your move and it happened with this company. They arrived 1 hour late. They claimed they weren't aware of this one big item when this was mentioned beginning to end from messages to phone call. I specifically mentioned this item many times and was provided with a quote. My move consisted of a couple main items and it took them almost triple the estimated time. EVERY SINGLE ITEM they disassembled, they could not remember how to assemble it again. So they wasted time. EVERY SINGLE DOORWAY was scratched and had bad dents, paint chipping all over the floor. They damaged one of my item so badly. There are scratches, dents, and it even ripped. Now it is not even functioning the same as before. They broke an item from the home and did not mention it to us. Not a big deal but it's the principles. They will pressure you for a tip by claiming there's an extra charge for the "big" item that they're supposedly unaware of. I tip for service all the time but I do not like the approach they took. Honestly, there is a lot more that happened that day. At the end, they were so frustrated by their own incompetence and this job took longer than they thought.. they tried to charge me an additional few hundred. I refused and all of a sudden that additional fee disappeared. I was still charged for WELL OVER the estimated time and a tip was still demanded. I've used many moving companies. Kane, Ali, Mike, and Michael just helped my family complete a move over 50 miles, all without major incident. We moved a lot of furniture and nearly ran out of space in the truck - but the guys were able to rearrange the space efficiently and avoided the extra cost of bringing on an extra truck (that we would only fill a small portion of). GPS tracking of the truck's location as it moved to the destination was also a nice perk that I wish I had on my previous moves. The crew managed to disassemble and reassemble my larger pieces of furniture, and I could tell they were careful not to damage not just the items being moved but also floors and walls too. Some might prefer speed but you can't rush getting a 101" sofa into a 8ft door by a narrow hallway with zero damage - the most impressive feat of the day for sure. Even towards the end of a long day they remained patient with us as we experimented with different furniture placements and dialed everything in. Phenomenal 10/10 service by Mike, Adam, and Dugar. We had to unload our PODS container in Vernon and move to our new apartment in West LA. The three guys were incredibly fast, taking only 40 minutes to unload the entire 16 ft container into a 24 ft long truck. Even with the traffic, they were able to get to our apartment in a reasonable time. Unloading truck into the apartment was a breeze for them, as everything was finished within 2 hours. The value was also incredible, you can't find similar pricing anywhere else. I highly recommend ASAP moving! 5 Star service! I did a little research on YELP to find movers to help me clear out my 10x10 Storage unit and came across ASAP. I liked the customer reviews they had noticed they had good ratings (5 stars on all reviews) from many Yelpers so I took a chance on them. I'm glad I did! They arrived on time, were extremely courteous and helped unload my (no pun intended) ASAP! The 2 gentlemen were very Professional and worked quickly as well. They were cautious of any fragile items, in fact respectful of all my items during their time on the job and didn't for lack of a better expression "Smoke and joke" while on the job. It took about 2 hours to clear out the Storage unit as it was on a 2nd floor and they had to take a few trips up and down to load their truck and only to a 5 minute break to compose themselves. They were also kind enough to give me ETA updates on delivery time to drop off my items at home, and were just as quick and professional with the delivery. I really appreciated their work ethic. I don't look forward to moving in the future or having to acquire another storage unit, but should I ever have to do either...I am definitely without a doubt hiring ASAP movers again and recommend them to anyone who is in need of professional movers! Disappointing Experience - Would Not Hire Again I hired the team to both pack and move. I found them to be very slow packers. I'm sure this is intentional since they are paid by the hour. On the day of the move, time wasn't managed well and the storage company closed before my items were completely unpacked. The movers were told the building would lock at a specific time and reminded several times. The lead mover told me I should just give the property manager $$$ to convince them to keep it open so they could finish. The building locked and the movers were not allowed back into the facility. The property manager took me up to lock my unit. I found 1) items carelessly thrown into my unit 2) items in hallways 3) items in elevator. 4) I HAD TO MOVE ALL OF THESE ITEMS downstairs and have the movers place them back on the truck. And, then had the audacity to ask me to PAY when the job was incomplete!!!!!! I had to return the next day, have them remove everything out of my unit and re-store them appropriately. The manager attempted to resolve the process, asking me to pay a portion of my bill immediately and the balance when complete. And not charging me for the next day ---- like he was doing me a favor----he was clueless at how this undercuts customer satisfaction and I should not have had to have 5 conversations with him to get to this point. Another thing, I sent payments via Zelle and the lead guy would hover over me and needing to take a screenshot. This is tacky. Hire them if you'd like, hindsight is 20/20 and I would not use them again. read more
