    Chirashi Bowl Special

So happy there's a Musashi's in Kent! We live up south and used to drive to Seattle to eat here. This will always be my ride or die chirashi bowl. It's always consistent and lives up to my expectations. Thank you Musashi's for always making my tummy happy!

I ordered five items from Musashi Sushi: the California roll, spicy tuna roll, Musashi roll, cucumber roll, and the chirashi bowl. I placed my order online, and it was ready in about 20 minutes. It was my first time visiting, and I was pleasantly surprised by the affordable prices ($55 for 5 items) and the convenient, easy-to-find location. Overall, a solid experience -- I'll definitely be back to try more from their menu.

Great affordable sushi restaurant attached to the apartments. There is parking just for the retail stores. I love getting my sushi fixed from here with it being so close to home, their customer service and prices. I had good experiences here but their fish does sometimes lack the freshness quality. Previously got my usual, spicy salmon roll and the musashi roll. But this time, the spicy tuna that is topped on the musashi roll was not fresh. On the verge of rancid. The smell was sour and almost funky. I did pick up so I called the restaurant but I called during their lunch break and they don't have a voicemail set up. They serve and make great food, I suggest paying attention more to the food quality for the day before selling to customers.

Picked up Musashi's while I was on my way to charge my car. Sushi was very affordable but surprisingly fresh. I got the Chirashi Bowl (subbed albacore with more yellowtail) and the Musashi Roll. Definitely a must try if you want a quick lunch or dinner that satisfies your sushi craving!

This is a hole in the wall area. There's plenty of parking. When walking in, the atmosphere is very clean. You order first then sit anywhere. I ordered the bento box special. It came with raw salmon and tuna pieces, grilled veges, beef and teriyaki chicken skewers, and a cold noodle with mayo. It was overall delicious! The meats were cooked perfectly and it's nice to have the bento as you can have a bit of everything. I was extremely hungry so I devoured everything. I am most likely coming back here as it's close to work! 10 out of 10, recommend!

I did the sushi dinner combo, which had nigiri and a couple of rolls. The fish was pretty fresh and the rice was flavored well. I also ordered miso soup and black tea. The tea was complimentary. I would eat here again.

All the items are reasonable-priced. I tried the Chirashi Bowl $18.75, which comes with 4 types of fish, unagi, a couple baby scallops and fish roes. I was able to substitute the shrimp with a piece of salmon. The fish slices are rather small and thin, but it's fresh and tasty. I will be back to try some Korean fried chicken cuz it smells really good.

If you're looking for quality and good priced sushi, this is the place to go!!! I ordered 4 rolls for only around $30. They have a list of 6 piece rolls that averages $5 which is such a great deal. Their signature roll is called Musashi's roll which I recommend. The Dragon Roll cost $12.50 and was a decently good roll. I loved getting multiple "cheap" rolls and dipping it with spicy Mayo on the side. The service was good. Our server took our order and nice any questions we had. The orders was made decently quickly for the amount of rolls we ordered, and totally worth the wait. The place is kinda small. Only had around 4-5 tables so I would imagine it would be hard to eat dine in during rush hours. I can see it being busy here since they provide great food. I wish they provided better decorations to provide a sushi restaurant atmosphere,

Chirashi bowl. I substitute the tuna, yellow core and albacore for more salmon + seared salmon.

I had a random late craving for sushi around like 8ish at night. I was so excited to see a Mushashi location in Kent! So I decided to call and order take out. I ordered a Chirashi bowl but I substituted the tuna, yellow tail and albacore for more salmon + seared salmon. Now I don't know if I ordered sushi too late or that their fish quality was lacking. First bite I took was the scallops, immediately I could taste how fishy it was. It didn't taste fresh or sweet. Next was their seared salmon, it was ok. Fresh seared salmon usually has that melting effect that is bursting of goodness in your mouth. Same with the regular salmon. The eel was chewy, and cold. Nothing special. Definitely did not satisfy my sushi cravings but for all of this fish was I believe, twenty dollars and some change. So that is a win!

Uh, such a thin bed of rice for the chirashi bowl. I've been to the Bellevue location many times and usually, I have rice leftover. But this Kent location, I needed way more rice. And I think you get less pieces of fish. Unfortunately, I won't be returning. Rather drive a little more to go to the Bellevue location. Also, I think they need another FOH person. 1 person to take the order, serve and fulfill deliveries isn't enough. I could barely get a hold of her to ask for something. FYI, you pay and tip when you order in the beginning before you experience the food and the service.

Honestly, there's nothing to say about Musashi...this location and the Factoria one are super consistent and reliable. Food is fresh and super good. Service here was super friendly.

We sat at the bar table but it was blocked by a counter so we couldn't see anything and he didn't talk and we had to wait around 15 minutes for our first dish. Foodwise: 10 piece nigiri --- love the different fishes that was available and all of them has their own distinct texture and flavor. My husband who loves nigiri said it was a fun experience. Scallop inari - scallop was cream and soft and smooth, I think the sweetness was a little overpowering though. Seabass crudo --- for how little there was of the fish itself, there was a lot of olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette. After finishing the fish, I was hoping to have some bread to eat more of the oil. Special maguro don--- I love this dish - the fish melts in your mouth, the rice went well with the fish and the wasabi was delicious. Price was also very reasonable for the quality of fish. Overall, it was a good experience, I definitely would recommend

For the sushi, the tropical roll had a nice addition of mango, but the sweet chili sauce was a little too sweet for my preference, especially for a sushi roll. The Pacific Garden roll had fresh-tasting yellowtail, salmon, and tuna, and I enjoyed the crunch from the asparagus. However, one of my pet peeves is when menus list crab or crab salad in a roll, but it ends up being imitation crab/krab. I really wish restaurants were more straightforward about what they're using, especially because I enjoy real crab, but am not a big fan of imitation crab in sushi rolls. This restaurant used the words crab salad and I thought it meant that they still used real crab in it. The rainbow roll and edamame were just alright. The gyoza was also disappointing because it wasn't crispy and didn't have much flavor. Presentation was another thing that fell a little short for me. I wasn't impressed with the plating, especially with the random pieces of greens on the plate. Overall, the sushi and sashimi had some fresh components(the highlight), but there were a few things that missed the mark for me. Service was just okay and nothing particularly stood out.

They have a big menu so it's easy to see the prices and their offerings, which consists of teriyaki, soups, Chinese food, sushi and bubble tea. Their prices are very reasonable and the upcharge on fried rice is the lowest I've seen but I think there's a reason for that (it's pretty bland). The cashier lady was efficient at her job but definitely could be friendlier and I wish she wasn't super snappy, there was no real rush and we were maybe their fourth order during that time. We opted to dine in and took our seat waiting for food. They have offer fountain drinks and bottled drinks, as well as water cups. I love that they have steamed veggies as I like to enjoy any remaining teriyaki sauce with them. The California rolls were decent, not the best but not the worst either. The teriyaki sauce is pretty good, it is a great mix of sweet and savory. They are also very generous with rice as there was a bed of under my teriyaki and two scoops. My boyfriend enjoyed the katsu and the sauce that came with it was very delicious! Their menu consists of teriyaki, Chinese food, sushi, bento boxes, fried rice, yakisoba and many others. They also have a special sushi menu located behind the counter, and one particular kind caught my friend's eye. Servers were patient with us and would come by once in a while to refill our water cups. Now for the food: - We each got our own bento box. For mines, i got their box with hot crispy chicken, spicy tuna rolls and four pieces of gyoza. The hot crispy chicken is already filling on its own, and they don't skimp on the spices. It was really crispy, sometimes to the point of scratching the inside of my mouth. Spicy tuna rolls were standard but also hit the spot, with the mayo sauce and even the tuna being spicy. The gyozas were also standard but were cooked well. Portions here are huge, and I almost asked for a to-go box for my remaining chicken. They didn't provide me with a side of salad as they advertise on their menu, though. It only came with my other friend's bento with chicken teriyaki, California roll and four pieces of gyoza. He did enjoy the teriyaki here, though. - My friend got a Diablo roll, which has a similar mayo sauce on it but is covered on the outside by a layer of Flaming Hot Cheetos. This was even spicier than the spicy tuna rolls which was actually even better. It gets really filling because of all the filling and sauces above it, and carries a familiar crunch with the Hot Cheetos covering. This place has some big portions for their food and needs more exposure! I'd be back for their other dishes and offerings.
