We've been coming here for years, and it's our hidden secret. Here's the place to come if you're looking for no frills nigiri or sushi. No fusion or crazy rolls here, but they have an solid selection of fresh seafood that is always consistent. They also have the most reasonably priced rolls and Chirashi bowl around. They're located in one of those condo complexes that have a lower story with restaurants, so parking can be scarce. The staff is always courteous, and is happy to take orders placed by phone for pickup. Otherwise, they are also on GrubHub!

So happy there's a Musashi's in Kent! We live up south and used to drive to Seattle to eat here. This will always be my ride or die chirashi bowl. It's always consistent and lives up to my expectations. Thank you Musashi's for always making my tummy happy!

I ordered five items from Musashi Sushi: the California roll, spicy tuna roll, Musashi roll, cucumber roll, and the chirashi bowl. I placed my order online, and it was ready in about 20 minutes. It was my first time visiting, and I was pleasantly surprised by the affordable prices ($55 for 5 items) and the convenient, easy-to-find location. Overall, a solid experience -- I'll definitely be back to try more from their menu.

Great affordable sushi restaurant attached to the apartments. There is parking just for the retail stores. I love getting my sushi fixed from here with it being so close to home, their customer service and prices. I had good experiences here but their fish does sometimes lack the freshness quality. Previously got my usual, spicy salmon roll and the musashi roll. But this time, the spicy tuna that is topped on the musashi roll was not fresh. On the verge of rancid. The smell was sour and almost funky. I did pick up so I called the restaurant but I called during their lunch break and they don't have a voicemail set up. They serve and make great food, I suggest paying attention more to the food quality for the day before selling to customers.

Picked up Musashi's while I was on my way to charge my car. Sushi was very affordable but surprisingly fresh. I got the Chirashi Bowl (subbed albacore with more yellowtail) and the Musashi Roll. Definitely a must try if you want a quick lunch or dinner that satisfies your sushi craving!

This is a hole in the wall area. There's plenty of parking. When walking in, the atmosphere is very clean. You order first then sit anywhere. I ordered the bento box special. It came with raw salmon and tuna pieces, grilled veges, beef and teriyaki chicken skewers, and a cold noodle with mayo. It was overall delicious! The meats were cooked perfectly and it's nice to have the bento as you can have a bit of everything. I was extremely hungry so I devoured everything. I am most likely coming back here as it's close to work! 10 out of 10, recommend!

All the items are reasonable-priced. I tried the Chirashi Bowl $18.75, which comes with 4 types of fish, unagi, a couple baby scallops and fish roes. I was able to substitute the shrimp with a piece of salmon. The fish slices are rather small and thin, but it's fresh and tasty. I will be back to try some Korean fried chicken cuz it smells really good.

If you're looking for quality and good priced sushi, this is the place to go!!! I ordered 4 rolls for only around $30. They have a list of 6 piece rolls that averages $5 which is such a great deal. Their signature roll is called Musashi's roll which I recommend. The Dragon Roll cost $12.50 and was a decently good roll. I loved getting multiple "cheap" rolls and dipping it with spicy Mayo on the side. The service was good. Our server took our order and nice any questions we had. The orders was made decently quickly for the amount of rolls we ordered, and totally worth the wait. The place is kinda small. Only had around 4-5 tables so I would imagine it would be hard to eat dine in during rush hours. I can see it being busy here since they provide great food. I wish they provided better decorations to provide a sushi restaurant atmosphere,

Chirashi bowl. I substitute the tuna, yellow core and albacore for more salmon + seared salmon.

I had a random late craving for sushi around like 8ish at night. I was so excited to see a Mushashi location in Kent! So I decided to call and order take out. I ordered a Chirashi bowl but I substituted the tuna, yellow tail and albacore for more salmon + seared salmon. Now I don't know if I ordered sushi too late or that their fish quality was lacking. First bite I took was the scallops, immediately I could taste how fishy it was. It didn't taste fresh or sweet. Next was their seared salmon, it was ok. Fresh seared salmon usually has that melting effect that is bursting of goodness in your mouth. Same with the regular salmon. The eel was chewy, and cold. Nothing special. Definitely did not satisfy my sushi cravings but for all of this fish was I believe, twenty dollars and some change. So that is a win!

Uh, such a thin bed of rice for the chirashi bowl. I've been to the Bellevue location many times and usually, I have rice leftover. But this Kent location, I needed way more rice. And I think you get less pieces of fish. Unfortunately, I won't be returning. Rather drive a little more to go to the Bellevue location. Also, I think they need another FOH person. 1 person to take the order, serve and fulfill deliveries isn't enough. I could barely get a hold of her to ask for something. FYI, you pay and tip when you order in the beginning before you experience the food and the service.

Honestly, there's nothing to say about Musashi...this location and the Factoria one are super consistent and reliable. Food is fresh and super good. Service here was super friendly.

Everyone we've invited to dine with us were so impressed, including a sushi chef from Palm Springs. Her father owned a popular place for our 50 years, but has since retired. She was very impressed by the quality, and craftsmanship, the love Chef Sean pours into his creations. All my friends know how difficult it is to get reservations, so they rely on me to make them. That's why this next part is insane to say... but these guys managed to blow past my expectations and made me call this my favorite food spot in all of Kent. Friday the 13th we got hit with a sudden snow drop after a recent strong storm just a few days prior. Power in the area was already pretty touch and go, and my wife and I had come in late from work and decided to eat out. I'd say we placed the order around 40 minutes before their usual closing time, so I knew I was pushing it. Shortly after placing the order, I get a call from the restaurant. I fully expected them to tell me they were closing early and were going to cancel my order. To my surprise, they actually were willing to make the order but just asked that I get there before 8:30 p.m. Easy, it was 8:13, and I lived 7 minutes away. Get there with plenty of time. When I arrive, I tip the staff and graciously thank them for taking my last-minute order. After waiting for a bit, Steve, the owner, tells me that they messed up on one of the items on my order and would need to remake it, but they would provide me with the mistake at no cost. Next, he let me know that he provided me with free wontons, just because. The food, as always, was amazing, even the "mistake" meal, which allowed me to explore the menu a bit more. Just wanted to get on here and provide a big shoutout to Steve and the team. Always a great experience. Also, my kids, thank you for the drinks!

However, we saw that this place opens on Sundays (they had several banners saying that they were open on Sundays too) after the original place we wanted to check out had a sudden kitchen maintenance. This restaurant is a lot bigger than other teriyaki restaurants with booth and chair seats, plenty of big or small tables, two TVs playing different sports, and it was the temperature was perfect. They have a big menu so it's easy to see the prices and their offerings, which consists of teriyaki, soups, Chinese food, sushi and bubble tea. Their prices are very reasonable and the upcharge on fried rice is the lowest I've seen but I think there's a reason for that (it's pretty bland). The cashier lady was efficient at her job but definitely could be friendlier and I wish she wasn't super snappy, there was no real rush and we were maybe their fourth order during that time. We opted to dine in and took our seat waiting for food. They have offer fountain drinks and bottled drinks, as well as water cups. We got our utensils and sauce cups first then our food arrived not too long afterwards. My boyfriend got their chicken teriyaki and chicken katsu combo with fried rice while I got their chicken teriyaki and California roll combo. I love that they have steamed veggies as I like to enjoy any remaining teriyaki sauce with them. The California rolls were decent, not the best but not the worst either. The teriyaki sauce is pretty good, it is a great mix of sweet and savory. They are also very generous with rice as there was a bed of under my teriyaki and two scoops. My boyfriend enjoyed the katsu and the sauce that came with it was very delicious! The only issue we had was that the fried rice had no seasoning or color, I almost thought it was white rice with some veggies at first. Other than that, a solid teriyaki joint that seemed to have a good amount of people coming in to pick up orders for the most part.
