    Pizza with hot honey

Stopped by as we were staying at Schoodic campgrounds. Wonderful atmosphere. Nice outside seating with fire pits and tables. Beer was good and the crabmeat cheese dip was excellent. We also ordered a pizza which was cooked in their pizza oven outside and very reasonably priced along with being acceptable although I prefer a thicker crust but that's a personal preference. Staff was friendly and available.

Our family loved this place. Stopped in for dinner one night while camping at Schoodic. Great atmosphere, delicious food, and reasonable prices. We sat outside and played games with our kids while we waited for our food. The burgers and fries were great . Coleslaw & cornbread were also awesome, and my daughter absolutely loved her grilled fluffernutter.

This was the perfect place to stop on a sunny summer day for some crazy nachos and a crisp cold Diet Coke. No notes!

Yummy food and very kind staff. Such a great vibe. It defintely lived up to all the great things we heard about it.

Quick friendly service. We both enjoyed the haddock fish burgers. The fries came hot and properly cooked. Most important:they were open on a Monday for lunch after the season ended.

    Delicious summer brew!

Great stop in between hikes while exploring Acadia! Came for lunch and was very kid-friendly, having various board and card games available. Food was great, I had a wood-oven BBQ pizza and my wife had the nachos, which were insane and delicious. Service was quick and steady throughout our visit! Overall great place with great vibes and delicious food!

Quaint restaurant out in winter harbor! The interior is unique. We visited on a sunny day and they had the side garage doors lifted to let fresh air into the building. It was nice. I ordered the lobster blt and it was amazing. Our waitress was attentive with our drinks and helpful with vacation suggestions.

Cute brewery with fast friendly service. I am always happy to "share" a beer with my doggos. Great dog friendly patio

First time for our entire party of 5. We were all very pleased with our food choices! We started off with Crab Rangoon Eggrolls and Onion Dip. Main courses were the Hog Wild sandwich, the Pulled Pork and Gouda sandwich, the Smash Burger and Mac and Cheese Skillet. Great service, atmosphere AND we even got to enjoy live music provided by Em & Co.

    Cheers to Musquito Brewery!!

Here visiting my parents in Columbia Falls, ME. They told me about a new brewery in Winter Harbor. What a great place. People, food, and beer were 5star!! Will be back again.

As a general rule if I see a brewery doing food and beer, inevitably either the food or the beer will be done well and the other will be lacking. I couldn't be more wrong in Musquito's case. I was pleasantly surprised by the kitchen (Smash burger and pulled pork & Gouda grilled cheese were phenomenal) and beer quality (Fogbank IPA is a top tier NE IPA). We'll certainly be back!

Mexican Food in Maine? Absolutely!…read more We found this amazing Mexican spot right in the middle of downtown Bar Harbor, and let me tell you the location couldn't be better! Families were walking by, live music was playing across the street, and people were sitting barefoot on the grass trying to stay grounded. Meanwhile, we were being spiritually guided by the smell of Mexican food coming from Salsa Verde Grill. It pulled us in like a tractor beam! We started with the fresh guacamole, blue corn chips, and their Christmas sauce a combination of red and green sauce. Oh man Christmas came early! That sauce was so good I almost asked for it in a cup with a straw. My wife ordered the steak burrito, and it was so big she couldn't finish it. Imagine that! I ordered the enchiladas topped with a fried egg, refried beans, and rice. Oh boy, I was stuffed but somehow kept eating like I was training for the Mexican Food Olympics. Our daughter ordered the same thing as Dad, but hers was smothered in that delicious holiday sauce. She couldn't finish hers either. My wife and daughter are a couple of wimps! Or maybe I'm just a big-backed roly-poly with no quit in me. The food was flavorful, the portions were generous, and the atmosphere was perfect. We absolutely recommend Salsa Verde Grill when visiting Bar Harbor. Come hungry, wear stretchy pants, and don't blame me when that Christmas sauce has you licking the plate. Bye-bye now!

I had the marinated chicken burrito bowl both days. There was an abundance of chicken, beans, rice, salsa, & crema.. I requested no cheese. The 2nd day I requested extra lettuce, and got more crispy fresh lettuce, the way I like it. So tasty& healthy. My husband had the 3 tacos with the side of beans & rice. He loved the chicken and the beef tacos. The first day he chose veggie for his 3rd and the sweet potato the next day. Those were ok, but he preferred the meat ones. Both days the servers were cheerful, friendly, and attentive. Among the sea of heavier, expensive food options in Bar Harbor, Langosta is a welcome option for something less expensive but fresh, hot, & tasty. They also have a variety of margaritas that we haven't tried yet.

We were seated right away and were greeted with a big welcoming smile by Diana. She took real good care of us. My husband was the one eating here so he ordered the vegan chorizo tacos and the sweet potato tacos (mix 3) with a side of guac and rice and beans. The guac was superrrrr fresh and perfect balanced flavors! The beans were surprisingly flavorful and the tacos were delicious too! Kudos to the chef! The decor is welcoming with plenty seating. Would surely recommend for anyone looking for some vegetarian food for sure!

We walked up and we're told by the host that there's a 15 min wait at 6:15PM for inside seating pur we could sit in the outdoor lounge area. We walked around the block and came back just as the host was calling to tell us there was a bar seat available. We descended the steps to what I could only describe as an underground secret garden. It was compact but did not trigger my claustrophobia. There were tables, couches and the bar. We sat at the bar right in front of the cake stand for the oft mentioned Texas Sheet Cake. I ordered the marg special which was grapefruit; my husband ordered the blood orange. Both delicious but the blood orange was a much brighter citrus flavor. We ordered the chips and salsa with a small side of guacamole. I thought the salsa was amazing but husband said it was too much cilantro for his soap gene. Dinner was chicken tinga tacos for me and duck confit tacos for him. The chicken tacos were delicious, among some of the best I've had. The tortilla was a warm, soft, extremely flavorful flour tortilla packed with chicken and topped with microgreens. I'm not a big duck fan so I didnt try my husband's tacos but he loved them. Our second round of drinks was the spicy margarita for me and the same blood orange for him. The spicy margarita did NOT disappoint. We got the last piece of the chocolate Texas Sheet Cake to go as well as an orange vanilla spice cake slice. We ate them at home and both were very good. The staff was all very friendly, funny and warm. We'll go back but definitely wasn't expecting amazing tacos in Maine.

There are picnic tables scattered around, plus a screened area, and a big sand pit and swingset for the kiddos.
