Well 3 strikes your out. No consistent. Order large pizza and 20 wings and 55.00 later, food was bad. Pizza was so thin that fell apart while eating sauce came through the bottom. Ask for saucy med wings and were dry, not.even sure if they mixed them. Sorry need a new pizza place. read more

Have only had good experiences here. The place itself could use some TLC, but the staff is super cool and appear to have a lot of fun while working there! I've had a variety of their menu and honestly no complaints. Their salads are insanely huge! And not just fluff of lettuce. Tons of meat and goodies. Definitely got my money worth. My friend ordered a chicken finger sub and said it changed her life. Granted she hadn't eaten all day, but I won't discredit her review. The pizza is pretty tasty. Buffalo is known for some pretty dope pizza, this is probably one of the better in Kenmore. That said, for being Kenmore it was a bit steep in price and that reflects in the 4/5 star along with cleanliness of the location. read more

Pizza is amazing here! There are so many pizza places in WNY and I love me some pizza but this would definitely be in my top pizza places (that are not thin crust). The cheese and pepperoni is amazing and the crust and the sauce are on point. I ordered the spaghetti pizza one time and it was so good we wanted to order it again! We had the grandchildren over and decoded to order a pizza instead of cooking. I ordered online for pickup. I was a little stunned by the high price for a large 1 topping but even more stunned by the "local fee" WT ? It was impossible to cancel or avoid . Apparently it's to keep the pizzaria up to date with the latest "tech" . Sounds more like a rip off. The pizza was good but NOT worth the price especially the added "fee" . Only reason it gets 2 stars is because their sauce is amazing. However, they don't know how to cook a pizza. Ordered a pizza and it was severely undercooked. And I'm not the type of person that asks for "extra crispy". I like an averagely cooked pizza. I received a pizza that was so doughy and flimsy. Called and asked for a new one. They brought a new one and I returned the old one and the new one was still undercooked. I figured with my original complaint that they would cook it a little longer but I guess not. So I ended up throwing it in the oven myself. My boyfriend ate his with a fork because he couldn't pick it up because it was so soft. read more

I have never ordered from Mustachio's before but I'm a new fan! We ordered sheet pizza's for my grandson's birthday party which was at a play gym. Picked Mustachio's because of reviews and proximity to the gym. I have to admit, I was nervous that the pizza would not be on time since the time for the party was only 2 hours. Just a neighborhood corner pizza joint serving up some of the best Char-broiled BBQ wings on the pit. You'd be surprised to find these beauties here [pic] at this unassuming location. They offer up a pretty solid pizza too with good crust to cheese to sauce ratio. Their subs are pretty average with one outlying exception. Their roast beef is their own slow, oven roasted, roast beef served warm and plentiful in a satisfying sub. The people here are always friendly. One tip on pickup, if they tell you 20-25, go in 30 to avoid a wait. read more

Really solid WNY pizzeria - ok now that I've told you what you need to know I'll elaborate. The wings are great. Meaty with heat and crisp (not soggy). They're not out of this world, but for a corner pizzeria they're great. The blue cheese and celery are great. I thought to myself "I wonder what their recipe is" before realizing it's... blue cheese & celery. The pizza is a solid example of WNY style pizza. They load it up pretty good so the slices are filling. They use the pepperoni everyone loves that crisps up and turns in to little bowls. Extra cheese did not leave me wanting. The prices are good. One of the best slices I've had in a long time. At work we ordered a sheet of cheese and pep and a sheet of stinger. Let me tell you the stinger was so good. I'm craving it next day. Should've saved a slice for home. The cheese was so meaty and combined well with the nicely seasoned steak. I think it would've been even better with a mild sauce on the fingers. Hands down the best pizza in Buffalo! I initially tried this place because I thought the name was goofy and I'm so happy I did. My boyfriend and I order it almost weekly and everything I've tried there is a absolutely delicious! We've done both pickup and delivery and delivery is always seamless and surprisingly pretty speedy. Also, even when we get delivery, the fries are ALWAYS CRISPY STILL! If you like a sweet sauce, but not too sweet, and a light, buttery crust, you will love this pizza. Highly recommend. read more

The pizza...I wish I had ordered more because I can't get enough of it. It really is some of the best pizza I have ever had. She clarified the medium hot is hot so that's what I decided on for an order of 6. My sister isn't so much of a wing person so she decided on a grilled cheese. The waitress was pleasant and answered all the questions we had. The restaurant itself isn't too big but can seat a lot of people. Total wing vibe. Lots of different flavors and quantities went by...everything looked tasty and fresh. They had Yuengling on tap so that's what I ordered. She had a pepsi. Food arrived fast. The aroma was to die for (ok it burns the eyes a little...). Came with celery and blue cheese. The wings were amazing, some of the best I have ever eaten. Crunchy celery and cool dipping sauce. Bigger than most that I have ordered and very freshly prepared. After 6 I was filled up...but I ordered another brew just to wash it all down. I visit the city every year in the fall, and I am still trying all of the wing places that have been recommended. The latest on my list was Doc Sullivan's, a very, VERY local watering hole. This is the kind of place that makes you immediately remember that you are absolutely not from here, but in the best possible way. Doc's is a historic, no-frills neighborhood pub smack in the heart of South Buffalo's Irish Heritage district. The second we walked in as clearly obvious outsiders, the entire room of rough-and-tumble regulars seemed to pause their conversations, turn towards the door, and stare at us. Even the bartender (who also doubled as the host and our waiter) clocked us immediately with a cheerful, "Hey visitors!" It was hilarious and broke the awkwardness we were starting to feel. Everyone was incredibly nice and welcoming once the moment passed, but it was clear we stood out from the regular crowd. If you have an aversion to dive bars, this is not the place for you because Doc's is not fancy. It's well-worn and smells like Fabuloso cleaner mixed with stale cigarette smoke and old beer. I was surprised at how clean the place was, but it does have that dive bar smell and feel. I felt like I'd walked onto a movie set because this place screams Buffalo, and does so loudly and proudly. I'm not a fan of chicken wings, but my hubby is. Food-wise, he ordered a half dozen of the famous Smitty Wings at the suggestion of the bartender, which come coated in the house's unique spiced butter sauce along with a half dozen with hot sauce. He liked the Smitty wings fine, but preferred the classic hot Buffalo wings, which he said had legit heat and were "more than decent." Not his all-time favorite wings, but still tasty and meaty enough to earn his respect. I went with the buffalo chicken sandwich, which was massive. It was a fried chicken breast patty on a super soft, fresh roll with lettuce, tomato, and onions, tossed in a mild Buffalo sauce that had just enough heat for a timid spice girl like me. The quality was good, but not great, and it was basically the same chicken sandwich you can get at dozens of places around town (it was very similar to the same menu item at the Anchor Bar, for example). The fries were nothing special, and they tasted like regular old french fries you'd get at your local deli. They were freshly fried, hot and crispy, and we both appreciated that malt vinegar was already on the table. We had a good experience at Doc Sullivan's, but agreed that we would not go out of our way to eat here again. I wouldn't call it a must-do for foodies, but I'm still really glad we went. While the food wasn't all that memorable, it felt like a true local Buffalo experience that you don't get at polished, tourist-friendly spots. This is the place if you want to soak up local character and are seeking another stop on your buffalo wing eating tour.

The smitty wings just tasted like mild buffalo sauce and the honey cajun was pretty good. My issue was with the "ranch" sauce because it tasted like straight horseradish and every bite left a bitter aftertaste. The poutine fries would've been good if they didn't make the gravy with the power of the pacific ocean with how salty it is. All time favorite is def it's the hot honey pizza rolls, so bomb!

Now on to the rest of the review. We visited for Sunday brunch, which starts at 10am. We arrived about 10ish minutes early and there were already about 15 people waiting in line before us and several that arrived to be in line behind us before the doors opened. So I suggest you get there early. I was planning on ordering the brunch sampler and making my friends share that with me, but unfortunately it was not on the menu anymore. We each got our own "real" food: a brisket foldie, brisket breakfast sandwich and a burger... And we split the cinnamon roll. I really liked that you could choose between lean or fatty brisket. I went lean for my foldie (their version of a taco) and it was delicious. Perfectly smoked and tender brisket with eggs, pickled onions and curry sauce on the side. My friends enjoyed their food as well. I think we all enjoyed the cinnamon roll the best. There may or may not have been a cinnamon roll ordered to go. There is indoor and outdoor seating available. There are not waiters, but they give you a number to bring the food out to your table if they are unable to give it to you right when you order. The burger, understandably, took the longest to prepare.

We ordered take out on the website and arrived a bit early (4:15 on a Saturday). We grabbed drinks at the bar and they were delicious! I especially loved the drink I had with smoke infused rye! If you order takeout, note you can go right in and up to the register (you don't need to wait in line). The line formed and was outside the door when we arrived! There was seating options inside and outside and all staff was helpful and kind. When we got home to dig in, we were amazed at the melt in your mouth bbq! We got the Texas Trinity to share with the Brisket Biriyani and beans as our side. The biriyani was a rice with brisket and amazing flavor. I'm not usually a huge rice lover but truly enjoyed this! The ribs were to die for and fall off the bone and the kielbasa was delicious! We also got a side of cardamom cornbread ( melt in your mouth!) and the cowboy Mac which my boyfriend absolutely loved. For dessert we got the cinnamon roll which was ginormous but good! Overall, amazing experience, food, and drink even with take out! We'll be back!

It is a large restaurant with tables and booths. We were given water and menu upon been seated. There were two orders of Greek burgers (1/2# burger) with feta cheese, vegetable pita, spanakopita and a sausage sandwich. Good service and wait staff filled waters when empty. Everyone finished their meals so needless to say, we all enjoyed our meals! Free street parking.

Food is always consistently good, my go to is the open chicken souvlaki salad and the chicken is always seasoned well, loads of feta cheese and fresh lettuce. The steak and eggs breakfast is always good too. This place is always busy, the servers are great and everyone is nice. Parking is the only issue here, I park around the corner and enjoy a little walk, good to get those steps in especially after a meal anyway. Calling ahead is highly recommended. I like sitting in the indoor patio area to soak in some sun and watch people walking by.

I got the Pad Ka Pow with pork and an order of the spring rolls. The service was so fast here and friendly. I got my food to go and it was still piping hot when I got home 15 minutes later. This is quite the meal with a large portion of rice in the main dish and five spring rolls. It was delicious from start to finish. Each dish came with an extra sauce to use or dip into. The spring rolls were crispy and full of flavor. The pad ka pow was a perfect balance of savory flavor with the right amount of spice. I should have asked to get shrimp with it this time, but that will happen when I go back next time. The parking at Chandler Street can be a little tough but I found a spot which was nice. The building is full of businesses so it is a nice place to be when you're hungry. Tiny Thai is one of my new favorite places to check out in the city and if you're ever over near the Westside, you should too!

After ordering our drinks we were told our table was ready but that we had to pay our bar tab separately which was rather annoying. The food however was quite lovely. We ordered several special seasonal vegetable dishes: tomatoes with ricotta, beautiful beets, wild mushrooms. All very delicious. Because of all of the delicious vegetables I opted to order a pizza assuming I'd take most of it home which I did. My husband couldn't resist the short rib and let me devour more of the veg to save room for it. I'm pretty sure he still took some home and had it for breakfast the next morning. The drinks were very nice and artfully presented. Judging from how slammed the bar area was they must always do a great job with cocktails here. Will come again. Highly suggest you try any local seasonal vegetable dishes as they will be stunning fresh and delicious. The wood fired pizza was also very good and is a very reasonably priced option to share for dinner paired with a small dish. Another very good restaurant to keep in rotation.

I love the comfy inviting decor and service was friendly and top notch. Have been wanting to come to this women and queer owned cafe since I first read about it. My…read morepartner and I finally stopped in for coffees, an absolutely delicious vegan Caesar crunch salad, and a made in-house bagel. Everything was so good, for me the show stopper was the salad. My partner loved the bagel. We both enjoyed our afternoon coffee. The space is beautiful and cozy, it would be the perfect place to come and read or knock out some work. They have completely non-plastic to go cups which are unique looking and we loved the extra effort they put into sustainability. They have bags of their used coffee grounds for free if you need to add to your compost pile or whatever needs you might have. 10/10, will be back!
