I tried this pizza for the first time and I was pleasantly happy with the decision to try this pizza. I belong to a Buffalo pizza group and Mustachios came up a bunch of times and being one of the best in Buffalo, so I had to try it. I went with the traditional cheese and pepp and the spaghetti and meatball parm pizza, yes it had PASTA on it!!!!! I needed it in my life, it was sooooo good. It was like spaghetti on top of a pizza, what in the world is better than that, absolutely nothing, say it again ahhhhh war huh, good god ya'll....anyways, it's a good pie, they have a variety of other pizzas that look bomb, taco, chicken finger, veggie, broccoli and chicken, I am going to try something different next time, but I don't know how I can sway from this meatball parm, we will see. This is it. This is the best pepperoni pizza in Buffalo. Flavorful crust, right amount and great flavor profile on the sauce, perfect doneness (if you prefer anything less than cheese starting to brown and pepperoni crisping on the edges, you're a coward and history will forget your name), perfect ratio of crust / sauce / cheese... If you ordered from here before, and weren't happy with the results, you may want to try again. It's under new "management" and has gone through nearly a total remodel. The "rudeness" is gone, and, if you're a regular, you get even BETTER service. My wife and I both grew up in Kenmore, having experienced a myriad of pizzerias. Mustachio's maintains that tradition of great pizza and wings. I'd give it a 5th star if it had a better "in-house, sit-down" experience. Oh, and beer. They'd need to have beer. read more

I tell you what, when a small pizza is 20+ dollars with 1 and 1/2 ex. Toppings. Cheese and 1 item is the usual for all PIZZERIA'S , at a reasonable price. We only found 2 places that deliver in Buffalo that have Stromboli on the menu, PATS, and Mustachio's. Like the Philly Cheese Stake New York just can't get it right. Comming from Pennsylvania I had Stromboli at least once a month like the Philly cheese steak. They are really good and a nice change from pizza. I get if ya want wings or NY style pizza ya gotta go to New York well the same with Cheese steak and Stromboli ya gotta take a ride down to PA. In PA the pizza shops ALL make a delicious Stromboli with cold cut ham, cotechino salami, whole milk mozzarella cheese and peppers, onions, mushrooms. For some reason, Buffonens wanna put nasty chunks of ham in there???? Pats a 3/4 inch of yeck; Mustachio's did better and use a little 1/4 chunks. Neither put in salami, but ya have to make sacrifices sometimes. Pats give a tiny cup of sauce for dipping gone after one or two bites, Mistacieos give a generous helping and has a delicious crust. The Pizza from Mistacieos is one of our favorites and the delivery service is great. Mustachio's is one of our #1 pizza places and until I can get back to PA it is definitely my go to Stromboli place. read more

Buffalo may be known for its wings, but people often overlook how great the pizza there is too. New York and Chicago are just fighting for second place, Buffalo is where it's at for pizza. The pizza at Mustachio's is some of the best I've had for delivery. I've been told they take the time and effort to make their own dough and especially their own sauce, a characteristic that should not be taken lightly in this age of cutting whatever costs you can. This sauce is slightly, but not overly, sweet with a good depth of flavor and the right quantity for the pie. The dough likewise adds as much to the flavor of the whole pizza as any other component. They have the standard list of toppings to add, and while I wouldn't fault you for sticking with the basic cheese pizza I would highly recommend at least getting pepperoni. They aren't just a one trick pony though, like most restaurants in Buffalo they make a mean basket of wings of the normal mild, medium, hot variety but also other flavors such as barbecue. Pro tip, ask for them extra crispy! With all the pizzerias in Buffalo you owe it to yourself to stay away from the national chains and get some top notch quality pizza (and wings). Do yourself a favor and try out Mustachio's, if you don't like it hey there are tons of other pizza places but I would be surprised if you don't go there again. read more

Mike (other reviewer), is a fool. The staff is always nice to me (guess because I'm not a dick?) and I have never had anything bad from there. Really good Antipasto salad with a wide range of ingredients, and consistent pizza. You know how sometimes you go to a place, and it's great, and the next time it's different? I will start this review by saying I am not particularly picky about my pizza. But I find that whenever I order from them they are reliable which I really appreciate. The one time I decided I was going to try a new pizza place in Kenmore, it didn't work out and I ended up back at Mustachio's. I recently ordered the garlic bread which was good but next time I would get the garlic bread with the added mozzarella cheese. I've said this before to several people in WNY and I always get funny looks. I am just not a fan of Buffalo pizza. Most of the places that people "love", to me, well, suck. Crust is too thick, sauce is too sweet, etc. Enter Mustachio's. The misses and I found this gem when we were moving into the neighborhood last December. We've been regulars ever since. Mustachio's is hands down the best pizza in Kenmore! It has a thinner crust, which isn't very common for Buffalo pizza but it's really great. They use the little pepperonis that that curl up with a grease puddle in the middle, which obviously makes it taste even better! The cheese and pepperoni is the only pizza I've had but I've gotten it on multiple occasions and it's been consistently good every single time. I tried the wings this time and they were decent, nothing to write home about or anything. The employees are so so in there, some times you catch them in a good mood but they're generally pretty plain. They don't go out of their way to be extra nice or anything, to me that doesn't matter so much when I'm in and out in a minute just to pick up a pizza. I'm very critical of pizza as its my favorite food of all time but Mustachio's is great, highly recommended! read more

My family and I have ordered many times and we have had more better times than not but tonight we ordered dinner since my father was in buffalo and I ordered a hitman sub. Never being worried about mushrooms on my sandwich since I am very allergic. My dad brought home dinner and I bit into my hitman to only discover it is loaded with mushrooms and olives. I call the store to let them know and all I was offered was an $12 credit and I'm sorry its a new girl, so me being very allergic to mushrooms and having to use a $400 epi pen $12 does not seem to compare. The response did not seem sufficient and oh I will mention it to the owner was the answer I got and as we dig deeper we find spaghetti throughout the sub also.. As a follow up the Owner of Mustachios called me and was extremely concerned about the content of the below review. He was conscientious and wanted to hold the employees responsible accountable for their actions (something not of the norm these days). An extremely nice man with a code of Ethics. And the Best Pizza in and around Kenmore. The original review is below. I was going to delete it but thought better to leave it so you know how honest and hard working the owner is to try and correct something that would effect his business this way. He's also remodeling the establishment for those of you who care about the aesthetics of the place as mentioned in another review. It doesn't matter to me, Great Pizza is Great Pizza They have the best pizza in Kenmore, the problem is not that. We ordered delivery and when it came the delivery guy didn't give me any change and started walking away. I said " I think you forgot my change " He said " oh" and gave me the 2 dollar bills. Started walking away again. I said " I think you forgot my change" He said , I don't have any change, people usually just GIVE me the change. I said " a tip is optional, for good service and the customers option. You mean to tell me your manager does not provide you with any change?? " he said no. That "people usually GIVE me the change" i FINALLY received my change back and I called the pizzeria to complain. The manager told me when I recounted the scenario and said that I was not given the bills, the manager said the man would be talked to about that. When I mentioned the COIN, he said " I LET THEM ROUND UP THE CHANGE " WHAT ???? SO ! He feels he has the right to ROUND UP, So! WHY THEN DOESNT HE FEEL THE RIGHT TO ROUND DOWN?? I worked in waitress positions and service positions most of my life and only recently encountered this ENTITLED attitude !! I used to work in a pizzeria and the delivery guy always made sure he had change. !!! TO ROUND UP (AND WE'RE TALKING BILLS HERE ALSO) is UNACCEPTABLE. It's stealing. pure and simple. Even if it's 20 cents and it doesn't belong to you, it's still stealing but then the manager CONDONES it !!! So Ask what your total is and see if you get the change at least offered to you ! read more
