This is a find for people looking for homemade muffins and bagels. You can see in the back where it is all made fresh each morning and the difference from your average Dunkin's is incredible. Lets say this. The Bagels are good. And that's why I give it two stars. The service is awful. Complete lack of caring or effort. If I see multiple cars in the lot I don't pull in. Had lunch here today for my first time (though I am a 3 day a week min regular breakfast customer lol) and had the 'Holy Guacamole' turkey sandwich with peppers and guacamole on a spinach bagel and it was perfect! Thick cut turkey and a nice stack of it too, they definitely don't skimp here (and its still only $5.49!) The guacamole was perfect and went well with the sandwich. The food here and the muffins, especially are... AWESOME. The only reason this didn't get five stars is that it's a little price-y for what you're getting. I love supporting local businesses and don't mind paying a bit extra but I think most folks in today's economy don't want to spend their cash on muffins. Anyway, suffice it to say, I've never had a bad experience at this place (except the one time I bought a cheese and bacon "bone" thinking it was just a quickie breadstick snack and tried eating it- they're actually bones! For dogs!) Other than that, free Wi-Fi and an AWESOME platter menu for family gatherings and events. I did a bagel and muffin platter for my family last holiday season and it worked out perfectly. This restaurant is notorious for not having the sandwich you want. Call three times a week for tuna sandwich and always out of tuna. If you know that's a popular sandwich you would have plenty of tuna on hand. Comes in a can not hard to purchase . Cumberland farms across the street, I'm sure they sell tuna if your out. Their bagels are the best in the area. I love the cinnamon sugar bagels. They have an assortment of cream cheeses, I had never tried until one morning I was in a rush and when I opened my bagel I had apple cinnamon cream cheese on it instead of plain. I was pretty annoyed and almost didn't eat it. Well I'm glad I did, OMG you need to try it is SO good. Muffins are just okay, but I don't love muffins anyways. Coffee is....well -.5 star for the coffee and -.5 star for the staff because I always feel like I'm inconveniencing them when I am ordering a bagel. read more

Sitting in traffic while attempting to leave Cranston, my friend and I spotted My Favorite Muffin. Promises of bagels, muffins and coffee? Of course we had to stop! I was very impressed with the selection. It was somewhat later in the day and they still had a great offering of bagels and a ton of muffins. We bought a cheddar bagel which was pretty good but the top portion was totally burnt. We also bought a turtle latte. Yum. And it was full of caffeine so that was a bonus (sometimes drinks like that are just syrup and light on the coffee but not this one). We also got a chocolate cheesecake muffin and a strawberry cheesecake muffin to take home. Both were delicious. I wish I lived closer as I could see this place becoming a daily stop. Always fantastic. The coffee is always on point, the bagels are incredible and the service is awesome. The girls in the morning know what I get so it's nice to feel like a regular. Highly recommend their gourmet muffins too. If your a pumpkin fan they have 3 different kinds for the fall! All are delicious. I stopped in a few weeks ago (my first visit)... I got a lox bagel and a few of the mini muffins from the display case. They looked so good I just had to. Everything was very good... I've been craving a lox bagel ever since and am considering heading over now just to get one. The service was great... Everyone was very friendly and you got the feeling that it was a happy, friendly business where the employees like their jobs and know their customers. I mean.... I could be totally wrong, but that was my impression and I liked it. (It's not pleasant going into businesses where you can clearly tell the employees hate their jobs, so I really appreciate when employees are friendly and cheerful.... Which they all were!) I stopped in here after a haircut one morning because I realized I hadn't eaten much yet. I was asked what I would like as soon as I walked in and said I needed a moment, however I am very indecisive and spent a while looking at the menus. A lady that was working (she seemed authoritative and important but I don't know) helped me pick out a breakfast sandwich and made it for me; sausage, egg and melted cheese on an asiago bagel. It was so good! It was very inexpensive too, I think it was about $3. I was happy with my sandwich, the service and the price. Wish I lived closer. read more

The muffins are good, though not mind blowing. They have a lot of unique flavors such as strawberry cream cheese, blueberry corn and cinnamon crumb cake. The sandwiches are very good. However I'm giving 5 stars for the service. The woman that was working (black woman, short hair) was Amazing. Outstanding customer service. It was more of a restaurant experience. She brought the food over, laid out napkins, checked in more than once and seemed to know many dine-in customers. She even came over to a table to collect the money for an elderly gentleman so he didn't have to get up. If she's not the owner, she should get a raise. She didn't stop working the whole time. First, let me start with I ONLY gave this place 2 stars for the decent muffins that brought me back, despite terrible service time after time. Most recent visit: I walk in and there is only one woman ahead of me waiting for her food to be prepared (she was still waiting when I left 15 minutes later) I dread ordering things from multiple areas here (coffee and sandwich for example) because I know the wait is very, very long. But I ordered a sandwich anyway, and whomever was preparing kept yelling back at me questions about my order "IS IT TO GO??!" "DID YOU SAY NO ONION??!" On top of this, running to the back 2-3 times to grab items she needs. Now we're going on 10 minutes to prepare my one sandwich and an employee walks out of bathroom, WITH HER APRON ON, and hops in and helps her finish my sandwich...I was HORRIFIED. No change of the apron the she USED THE BATHROOM WITH and no hand washing before gloves (to be honest, not even sure gloves were used). I tried to be discreet and say I had to go and didn't want the sandwich...but they continued to finish it and said "too late it's already made", and continued making faces at each other. I will absolutely never step foot in that place again. And I have to say, this is not an isolated incident. The wait for food is always excruciating...and the atmosphere is very frantic and chaotic. There is one woman who works there however, who is very high energy, very attentive and works incredibly hard. The rest seem to be miserable. read more

I really love to eat here. The bagels are the best in RI as far as my taste goes. At least once a week I go in for my favorite sandwich lettuce tomato and swiss cheese and mayo on a toasted sesame bagel. I take friends and clients there they love the lox and extraordinary cream cheeses as well as the breakfast sandwiches. The mix and match coffee choices are very pleasing and never burned like Dunkin. The muffins are sooo moist and tres gourmet. The place is super clean. Try it and see.. Ok I'm not going to lie. Their breakfast sandwiches are good. I've never tried their coffee so I can't speak to that. My advice only go there if you have time to spare. They are so slow.... I went there today for a breakfast sandwich (Just an egg and cheese nothing fancy). And while I was standing there waiting to be helped. The lady behind the counter helped the customer that came in behind me. They got their food, their coffeepaid was out the door before she even asked what I wanted. After I told her what I wanted. Another customer came in and she helped him. Same thing as the customer before me. They had their food and was cashed out before I was. Maybe like a whole 10 min ordeal. So don't go if you don't have the extra time to spend waiting for them. read more

While waiting for our vehicle to be worked on at a local shop, we came in here to grab a quick coffee and breakfast sandwich. While the food was great (cinnamon bagel with cream cheese, and carrot cake muffin) the lady making the food was not so great. Greeted with attitude, it felt like we were annoying the worker by ordering food. In addition, we received multiple glares. Now, this was only the one worker, the owner/manager was amazing. She overheard the attitude and the way this worker was speaking to us and nipped it straight in the bud. Awkwardly told her off in front of us, but better than ignoring it completely. The owner/manager then made our food herself and offered my carrot cake muffin for free to compensate for her workers terrible customer service and attitude. This owner/worker knew all the regulars and was such a kind and welcoming lady. The only downside for this business was the attitude from this one lady. I will be back if I am in the area, in the hope I don't run into the same situation again. From reading other people's reviews, this clearly wasn't the first time! read more

Staff was very friendly and pleasant. I was immediately impressed by the variety, at least 12 different varieties of both the mini muffins and the large muffins. These muffins look great and are very good. They are however made from packaged mixes lending to their texture and consistency. There are no unique qualities to the individual muffin types each have the same shape and size. The muffins do not have "tops", thus resembling cupcakes more than muffins. My office orders bagels from here at least one a month and they are pretty good. I heard that they also served sandwiches and other lunch items so I figured I would give it a try. I ordered one of their grilled chicken specialty sandwiches from a young lady who seemed less then enthused to have to make this particular menu item. When I got back to my office and took a look at my lunch I noticed the chicken did not look very appealing. Upon further inspection I realized the chicken extreamly under cooked. It looked as if it had been par cooked via boiling. Realizing that serving undercooked chicken could by harmful to its customers and that this was probably just an oversight I called the store to let then know. I told the women who answered the phone that I just wanted to give them a heads up so they could make sure they did not continue serving raw chicken. I was shocked at how un concerned and non apologetic the women was. Needless to say i won't be back. read more

I'm torn on this one. We aren't from New England and I've been told that some New Englanders are less than friendly, although personally we had never experienced that until this place. They weren't busy when we first came in, but a group of five and then a group of four came in as we were paying and I noticed that we were all treated equally bad. I knew what I wanted right away, but my daughter and husband were trying to decide on which muffins they wanted. They finally ordered and I suspect the lady waiting on us was just about to tell us "no muffin for you!" My daughter ordered a latte and they said they would bring it out. The muffins and bagels made us swoon and the coffee was hot, fresh and great! We were finished with everything, though, before we heard the other lady yell "caramel latte" and my daughter had to go up and get her latte. Not a huge deal, but we did wait quite a while for it and they had told us they would bring it out. Meanwhile the five guys who came in behind us who were obviously a high school sports team from out of town were being treated pretty badly because they were undecided. So while the breads and coffee were great, the service is TERRIBLE! Very rude and disrespectful. read more
