Here I go again, finding myself having to defend this establishment. I don't mind people having their own opinions, but I find it hard to digest when they are blatantly wrong. I stop here just about every morning on my way to work. It has become a routine for me. I love the freshly baked goods and the friendly, attentive staff. Dereck H. states that he was frowned upon when asking for a sugar or napkin??? I don't see how that can be because both are self service. The coffee is self service too. They give you a cup of the size you request and you serve yourself coffee and fix it yourself. All the napkins and sweeteners are there for the taking. He clearly has this place mistaken with another or he must have another agenda is all I can think. They will put napkins in your bag with a bagel or sandwich to go, but otherwise the napkins are at various locations in the dining area. They do not even have sugar behind the counter to pass out. I think the prices are reasonable considering the quaility of the fresh baked goods. Everyone that I have spoken with state with conviction that nowhere in the area can you get bagels or muffins that are close to what you can get here. Great place for bagels, muffins, sandwiches, or coffee. I have been coming here on my way to work in the morning for the last month or so. The staff is upbeat and friendly. The wait time during morning rush is minimal. They seem to have it down to a science. I love the Jalapeno and Sundried tomato bagels. I still have about 15 more to try as they have 19 different bagel flavors. They also have at least 11 different flavors of cream cheese. My favorite is the Hickory Cheddar. I have also tried the Veggie, but always go back to the Hickory Cheddar. I guess I am a creature of habit. The coffee is self serve, but that doesn't bother me as the coffee is brewed in the bean so no extra calories. I would rather spend the extra calories on my morning bagel and cream cheese. I have also brought muffins to work and although I haven't actually tried them yet, my co-workers raved about them. read more

I love this place. The best muffins and bagels in the area for sure. They make their own cream cheeses which are delicious and I have tried everyone except the lox spread. I think they have eleven cream cheeses. You have to try the bagels and muffins and you will be hooked like everyone else who has stopped in for the first time. The staff is very friendly. The place is spotless and I mean clean. Oh did I mention they have THE best muffins and bagels! The sandwiches, soups, and salads are delicious and very fresh. I just found this place this week and boy am I glad I did. The peanut butter explosion muffins is out of ths world. My Favorite Muffin has the best bagels around period. I have never had a great bagel outside of NY. These may even be better than the bagels you can get in NY. Everthing here is fresh. The muffins are light and not heavy like a lot of muffins you find. They bake everything from scratch daily. They even make their own cream cheese. I think they have eleven kinds. Don't take my word for it, check it out for yourself.
