Dropped my iPhone... On a Sunday afternoon while having lunch at La Costa Resort, thought I might die... Not really, but I felt that way for a few minutes until I found ifix online and it was just down the street. I called them and they were 10 minutes away from closing, the owner said he would stay open for me! My iPhone 5s screen stopped working on one side, so I spent the day running around trying to get it repaired. The Apple Store wanted to charge me $130 and said they might not be able to fix it. I went to the AT&T store to see if I had an upgrade, but one of the sales associates told me to walk over to the iPhone screen repair shop down the street instead. It only cost about $90 and took less than 10 minutes. The employees working were very nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend and go back if I ever break my screen again. read more

On the recommendation of my brother, I stopped by My iFix on the way home from work. They quoted a price right off the bat--less than half the cost of what the A**le store would charge, with no snarky comments or tsk-tsk looks. They could not have been friendlier. And they did it no time at all (would have been faster if I had stuck around and told them my passcode.) So take my advice: Don't go anywhere near the A**le store. Walked up o a Friday after cracking my screen- fixed my phone within 20 min. Very quick service. Friendly owners/staff! Plus there is a Starbucks and ATM right next door so it's extremely convenient to grab a coffee while you wait. Slightly more expensive then other places but seems very quality! I'd Def. Go back. I dropped my phone and wasn't able to access my contacts. I went to Verizon who is my service provider and they couldn't help. The screen was blank. It needed to be on, so smart switch could be set up with a new phone. I went to Best Buy where I bought the phone. They couldn't help, but directed me to I Fix in Encinitas (a small kiosk near Pei Wei). They were personable. Tried a number of things and then said that they could send it out and would only charge me if they could get it fixed. They got it fixed. More importantly, I have access to my contacts. We brought in a water damaged iPhone 6s. We were given an estimate of $150, however, the diagnostic revealed a much lesser repair of $40.00. They could've easily charged us the maximum amount, but didn't. They are honest, ethical and a pleasure to work with. And, btw, Apple quoted us $325 for the same repair! read more

It was great the people were very nice and funny they fixed my Apple 6s charging port in seconds even though Verizon said something in the charging port was removed but I was going to pei way and saw the place the person at Verizon recommended and I remembered the place and I went there and they saw something in the left corner and removed a piece that was from a mophie case and at the end of all of that the price was only $10!!!!!!!! I broke my IPhone 5s screen. I took it to Apple and the rep told me they couldn't fix the screen and I would have to pay my insurance to give me a new device. Hopped on over to ATT who told me sure- but it would cost me $200 plus- bummer! Luckily one of the girls working there told me to head over to this gentleman. He took one look at my phone and said "Yup, no problem. Give me 15-20 minutes." $89 bucks with tax and a short wait. Costs ya $129 at Apple. I wish I would've gone straight to this guy! THANK YOU IFIX repair shop for making me not look like an idiot for having a caseless I-phone. I was devastated when I discovered a slight drop ( have had many ) resulted in a spiderweb screen. I went to get my screen fixed & battery as well. I had Yanira greet & work on my phone. She was extremely amazing and had GREAT customer service. My battery was dying fast, later realizing that it was not the battery replacement. I had a blown out charger port. She advised me on how it could happen & how the charger port is what drains my battery. She didn't take long at all. In fact she was quick & offered a discount for the charging port to be fixed & put a temper glass on it free of charge! I love this place & do recommend it! The counter person, Mickey, wanted a tip for services on a Friday afternoon. The turnaround time was ok (30 minutes), the repair was complete, but asking for a 15% tip seems egregious to me. I came here to fix my charger port in my iphone since I got saltwater in it and was having trouble charging my phone. I've been here before for a similar port problem and it needed to be replaced. This time my phone was fixed without a change of the port and it was free! I'm happy they're honest because he could have easily just charged me for a new part.
