My iFix is incredibly iAwesome! I would give more stars if I could. These guys are all about reputation and integrity - they are customer service savvy and want to make sure that their customers are happy. I honestly cannot say enough about how awesome My iFix is - they are the NORDSTROM of iPhone and iPad repairs! I took in my iPad Air 2 because of a cracked screen. Not only were these guys the only ones to have the black face in stock, they quoted a price lower than most and a shorter repair window (an hour?!?). When they ran into trouble with the repair, they went over and above the call of duty to make sure that my needs were met and that I had my iPad back in hand in the time promised even though they had to pull in a special favor around town. Seriously, I can't believe what they went through to get me back on track. I will be forever humbled and grateful that I chose this particular business of the 4 or so that I was in discussions with when I was looking for quotes. Don't go anywhere else. They fixed my iPhone 8 plus screen in about 20 minutes for $140 it was well worth it. I had just gone to the Apple store and they didn't have an appointment open for two days. I just happen to drive past the little My iFix kiosk and decided to see if they had time to help me. They took my phone right away and I certainly appreciate their speed and quality. Saved my phone! I have an iPhone 6+. I fell on it. Bent it and cracked the screen. Didn't think anyone would try and make it straight so a new screen could be installed on it but these guys did. I have used this place before. More expensive than going to an Apple store but they get the job done while you wait. Last night in downtown SD I dropped my iphone 5 and cracked the screen pretty badly. My friend referred me to this place because it was pretty close to where I lived and the prices are reasonable. I called Dr. Apple spoke with Hugo and he was very helpful and informative. I stopped by to drop it off and then went to grab subway while he worked on it. 20 minutes and boom my iphone 5 was just as new. After missing my appointment yesterday due to a family issue, Hugo, the owner of Dr. iPhone called to apologize for the inconvenience and reschedule a time to repair the screen on my boyfriend's iPhone 5. This review is for the Encinitas location. cracked iPhone 5 screen but phone worked perfect. Made an appointment the day before on their website to come in on sunday evening, and the automated system sent me two reminders for my appointment. On sunday (my only time available due to work schedule) , I showed up on time for my appointment only to find out that the kiosk was closed! Pretty upset, I called the phone number listed and spoke with Hugo who was very apologetic and appropriate and suggested I come the next day and offered a discount for the inconvenience. The next day, service was prompt and professional, screen was repaired in 35 minutes approx. Hugo said they will work on their website scheduling system , he again apologized and I went my merry way with an Iphone that looks like new. I was greeted by Yanira when I arrived. She was helping someone else, but the fact that she acknowledged me is GREAT customer service! Apparently the lady before me is a regular. I could hear Yanira asking how things were going in her life (made it personal which is always nice when your not in the best of moods b/c your phone cracked). When it was time for my phone I simply asked her what she recommended as far as screen protectors. They have one right there...but then I remembered mine was under warranty. She was still very polite even though I questioned her and she didn't get the sale! I'm in sales so I know how tough it is when you explain something to someone and they just say "oh ok..no thanks".....she continued to work on my phone and when it was done it looked BRAND NEW! Unfortunately I have had to use them too often due to iPhone 6 screen cracking (my fault). They are fast, professional and their costs are better than Apple. They make some good recommendation but don't over pressure you to buy accessories, cases or protective screens. That place took 2 weeks to fix and then charged me $300. Worst part was that the IPad was not functional after waiting 2 weeks. I use it daily for work so that added to more stress and lost sales. The first screen they put on had some spots that didn't work and I took it back and they replaced the screen again no questions asked. They ruined my I phone while diagnosing it. I've been going to a guy that's reliable and trustworthy for many years and doesn't charge $120 for parts. I moved out here half a year ago took my phone here because it wouldn't charge. They took it apart as I watched the women somewhat looked like she was struggling. I had a weird feeling just by watching there facial expression. They gave it back to me and said "some part was cut and that it costs $120." I said "hell no I'll get this fixed 40. I drive all the way to where I use to live an hour and a half alway to the guy I always take it to. As soon as he opened it he said "what the hell happened to your phone man, all your component are messed up" he explained to me that it probably happened when they were taking apart my phone and that he knows it wasn't like that the last time he fixed it. He asked how much they tried charging me and I told him 120 and he looked at me with the most confused look in the whole world and that's the look I gave the the people here when they told me that. Honestly I felt off that bat these people aren't that professional and I actually wanted to take my iPhone back when they were taking it apart. The guy I took it to fixed and charged me $40. Including the parts they damaged. He even told me "if I were you I would go down there and ask for a claims form or something" I see people saying to take it here it's cheaper. Nah bruh. They tried telling me $120 when in reality they damaged my phone and it wasn't even worth 120 in damaged it was only 30 plus the shit they ruined. Honestly I would never go to a shop that's set up like this one. Very unprofessional. They wouldn't even talk to me as I was waiting to ask them a question the guy seemed to not care and was more interested in his day to day life conversation on the phone while the lady ruined my phone.
