These amazing ladies came to the hospital to do a mani/pedi for my 82 year old mom who has been in the hospital with stage IV cancer for over two weeks. Tomorrow she comes home with hospice care and with gorgeous nails and toes done with the utmost care, compassion and love by these two angels. I'm a little bit confused why they have such bad reviews as well!! They removed gel on my toes and then gave me a gel pedicure... They were very careful and my nails look great! They also removed the dip powder from my nails and replaced with liquid gel and did a beautiful job! Very nice service! Average prices. Highly recommend!! read more

Terrible spa. It was very dirty, and they didn't use sterilized instruments! The guy just picked out a trimmer from his drawer and used it. Yuck. Rather than give me a manicure, he used an electric scraper, which ruined my nails. And I didn't have any polish on, so that was not necessary! Just plain laziness. The guy also kept trying to up sell me on services I didn't want. This place is filthy! Avoid. Read all the other one star reviews, and find a different nail spa. read more

Never coming back. Only came here because my usual spot was closed. Upside was they took me in under short notice. Unfortunately the downsides coverup any other pros. The tech kept badgering me for things I didn't want, trying to get me to spend more money. Made me feel weird for just wanting a basic pedicure. Didn't even give me a full mani and pedi, still have cuticles and dead skin. Super rushed, seemed like they just wanted to get to the next client. Even asked if I could just do one coat instead of the normal two. Like seriously? Don't even go here. Full disclosure, I had to pay $70+ tip for a BASIC MANI AND PEDI. Ridiculous. I am honestly flabbergasted at how terrible some of these reviews are. I am certain that the one-star reviews are from the "Karens of Pinehurst/Southern Pines" who take pleasure in being unpleasant. Anyway... I have personally been to My Nail Spa three times for pedicures and every single experience has been pleasant. I have had three different nail techs as well and each one was sweet to me and great at their job. I've never been annoyingly upsold on any service, despite what some of the above reviews would lead you to believe. Yes, they will ask you if you'd like a manicure along with your pedicure, but that's standard at any salon. I always get the classic pedicure with gel polish. This service is considered their most basic, but it includes everything you would want out of a pedicure, including an exfoliating massage. Highly recommend My Nail Spa in the Moore County area. I've been to several nail salons in the area, but this one has yet to disappoint. Can't wait for my next service. read more

I have frequented this spa a couple times before and was never overly impressed with the service, but I usually returned because it was close to my house. Today I went in for a pedicure and stated, 3 times, that I wanted the Green Tea Pedicure, which is more expensive and comes with more services, such as a wrap, and a 20 minute massage. As I sat in the chair waiting for the nail tech to begin, 15 minutes went by. The pedicure water was getting cold, and I was getting annoyed as others around me are helped immediately. An old man sat down finally to start my pedicure; he never greeted me or even acknowledged my existence. I should have known he wasn't going to do the Green Tea Pedicure. It was just a basic one. Being 39 weeks pregnant, I was really needing the foot massage and was very willing to pay for the service and tip appropriately! If they were more focused on the customers' experiences instead of just rushing through the service, there would be no issue. When I handed my card over to pay, I said, "I asked for a Green Tea Pedicure but only received the basic pedicure; please be sure I'm billed accurately." To which the old man responded, "do you want an eyebrow wax?" What????? That was the last straw - I'll never return again. read more

I came here because one of my nails broke in a horrible spot and I wanted to stop it from ripping off completely. I explained to the girl that I wanted to just put acrylic on that one nail and that I didn't want anything else done (not a fan of acrylics). I felt judged the entire time by literally everyone at that salon!! They kept pressuring me to get a full set and looked at me funny when I declined. Pedicure itself wasn't bad. People were nice. I got the cucumber pedi which states everything that's comes with at says, ends with 20 min relaxing massage. Well I got 4 min of massage and when I asked about it they said the 20 minutes means the entire pedicure.... well if I knew that I would have bought the cheapest pedi and not spent 45$. Went to this nail salon with two of my friends because we were in the area. Walked in and were seated within 10 minutes getting worked on. We all chose the citrus pedicure, which was incredible. The technicians took their time and really made us feel relaxed and at home. My feet left looking and feeling great. We were all given water and trail mix while we had our toes worked on. Afterwards, a technician offered to thread my eyebrows the next time we came. She had time and did it right then. The service was great, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the place was clean. We all left feeling fantastic! We will definitely be back! read more

$20 wasted. I just needed a regular manicure and this is one of the few places open on Sunday. I showed the technician exactly the length I wanted my nails and she cut them way too short. Not much you can do to fix that! On Monday I was already snagging rough edges on the polish, and Tuesday it was peeling on more than one nail. It's now Thursday and the tips of my fingers still feel exposed because the nails were cut so close to my skin. Horrible - I will not go back to this place ever. read more

Had the deluxe mani/pedi. Staff was nice. The manicure was done while I was sitting in the pedicure chair. Had to ask for my nails to be trimmed. The polish lasted just a very few days. Polish did not dry for over 2 hours. Focus was on massage and paraffin wax not the mani/pedi. read more

I waited over an hour to have my nails done, while many employees just sat around and talked while I waited. Nobody told me why I wasn't being helped, or how long it would be. I came here for the first time a couple of weeks ago and wont be returning. The customer service was soooo poor and the salon was so loud. Not a very relaxing atmosphere. I had gotten my nails done by a lady name Tammi and boy was she RUDE..!!! there was no conversation amongst us at all..she doesnt talk to you or make you feel comfortable. she made me feel uncomfortable the whole time i was getting my nails done. She doesnt even acknowledge to say Hi or give you a smile. I wouldnt reccommend anyone to get their nails done by her at all. read more
