Went on a Saturday morning, and apparently got lucky with timing. There were still 2 stools open (out of about 7), and only 1 person ahead of us. From then on, it was a constant parade of hungry people coming in for preorders and ad hoc take out. The parking area was double parked and all the spaces on the street were full. Clearly the locals know where to go for good breakfast. We ordered coffee (excellent), fresh squeezed oj (delicious), and a breakfast entree for each of us. My breakfast gyro was really great. Picture (there is one to help) a gyro wrap with a fluffy egg (2) layer, tomato, onion, sausage with just enough "Greek" spice, sour cream and lettuce. There was about 3 times as much lettuce as needed, and it was so big I couldn't get an all-flavors bite, but it was a definite repeat. My wife had the avocado breakfast sandwich. Piled on sourdough, lots of just-ripe avocado, cheddar, tomato, and egg, the flavor was great. However, the sandwich was so big that by the time she got to the second half, the bread was a soggy mess. Still fabulous, and even better when you can sit outside. My tomato, cheese, and onion omelet was the best in recent memory. Fresh-squeezed orange juice comes out of a neat machine that makes the juice in seconds. My daughter had a breakfast wrap which she devoured. Coffee always good. I just wish they had a few tables inside. You can sit at the window, but probably most people do take-out, except in the summer. read more

Okay, where to start. This is a really cute place and is laid back, very small. Sit down at the window seats or outside and take the time to enjoy your food. You walk in and there is fresh baked goodies at the counter. Didn't partake but it was hard not to, will be getting something next time. That being said I ordered the Greek salad with grilled chicken. The salad was so so good and each thing that made up the salad was perfect. The homemade dressing which was killer, and the juicy delicious grilled chicken, and that pita bread! Get the thick pita. It tasted fresh and it was delicious. I've been a fan of "My Other Kitchen " since opening day ! I have enjoyed over time almost the entire menu selections. It's difficult to review a favorite unless it's the one I'm having at the moment !! I will say however that I'm especially happy when the stuffed peppers are the day's special, and look forward to the rice and raisins stuffed tomato. George makes the very best Greek salad anywhere. Consistent and so fresh. You SEE the freshness before the first taste because the colors are so vibrant. All the servers, Ginny, and staff will soon know you and your special little requests and will have it ready before you ask. The music is soft and gentle and so inviting to linger for that little pleasure. Thanks to other reviewers who pointed me to "My Other Kitchen." I was taking my 85-yr old mother to the Social Security office in Waltham and was looking for a place nearby in order to avoid ending up at a McDonalds....which is what my mother was suggesting. When we pulled up to this TINY place, in a sort of industrial area, I was apprehensive. There are not tables, only a counter with stools....not the best for an elderly companion. But it smelled so great inside and the people were so nice we decided to try it. When I ordered the spinach pie and a greek salad, my mother announced that she "loved" spanakopita.....something I did not know. We perched on our stools and our food arrived quickly. It was wonderful. Best of all was watching my mother clean her plate. She kept exclaiming about how the salad was "perfect" and the spinach pie was the best she'd ever had. (Agreed!) I come to this place often to get my regular: The egg avocado melt, even when it's against my better judgment and I should be on a diet. The chef cooks the eggs to perfection such that they feel both scrambled and souffle like, seasons them to perfection. Went here on their opening day, 4/5. The food was awesome! The owner himself was cooking and he was very friendly, and the lady behind the counter was really nice. It's not really restaurant-style -- you order and pay at the counter right away, then you can hang out in their classy little digs while you wait for your food. They do have a little bit of seating if you want to eat there but I think they're designed more as a take-out place (with more outdoor seating to come for the nicer weather - I can't wait to sit outside and eat there.) We had chicken gyros and the baklava for lunch - all made there - all DELICIOUS. Their dinner options looked really good and would be perfect for picking up on the way home from work. You can call ahead earlier in the day and they'll have it ready at the time you want! This place is super cute, very clean, very well designed interior, very well designed menu, and overall really looks super professional and classy. My other kitchen is my favorite place for casual brunch-ing and grab and go dinner. The service is super speedy and the cost is extremely reasonable. Staff members are so friendly, they even learned my name after my second visit. I highly recommend the Mediterranean veggie wrap, the warm feta is unbelievable. Another must is the homemade muffins. The only reason I can't bring myself to give this place 5 stars is because of the fluctuating menu, they don't always have everything available ... But since they recently opened I hope they figure that out soon. Love the outdoor seating they just added. The breakfast menu is on point, with perfect hash browns on the side when you order eggs. This is such an exquisite little place. It's easy to pass by on the busy street so it's such a treasure once you find it. The service is extremely friendly and prepared to answer any questions you may have on Greek cuisine or their native homeland of Greece (that's how you know their food is real good). I had takeout from MOK the other day and was overall pretty happy. I had the Med grilled veggie wrap ($11) and my husband had the chicken soulvaki wrap ($13). Both chose the side soup. The wraps were stuffed to the brim. I loved how my wrap had a TON of nicely charred veggies inside, but I did think it could have been even better with more seasoning. Either simply salt and pepper or maybe some kind of garlic and lemon addition. The feta on the wrap provided a good salty component, but unfortunately the way the wrap was wrapped, the feta only ended up in one half. The wrap itself was also a little soggy from all the liquid from the veggies. Maybe if I ate it right after they made it instead of doing takeout this would not be the case. My husband was very happy with his wrap and didn't think it needed anything else. The soup was simple and tasted like a light chicken broth with some veggies and chickpeas. This could have used some seasoning too! read more

I had the exciting pleasure of dining here last week. What a lovely restaurant and outdoor space! The Mediterranean Greek style food is absolutely delicious! I can not wait to go back. We only sampled a light lunch but the Greek salad and the veggie wraps were worth mentioning. Some one next to us had this huge meat gyro with all the fixings. This is a real gem. Everything is delicious, and the produce is fresh. The lamb burger is the Olympus of burgers. The grilled vegetables are flavorful and can be enjoyed solely on their own. If I lived closer, I would eat there every day. There is limited seating. read more

It's rare to find someone who can fry eggs over _medium_. But he nailed it. This day off was not starting off well with my husband's work calling every 5 minutes and leaving the house late for a dr appointment without breakfast didn't help. I Yelped breakfast places in the area we were at and this one came up. Ginny greeted us and when we told her we'd never been there she was very helpful in showing us what they had. George (the owner) heard us say we were new and introduced himself. Very friendly and clean place. My husband came back from the restroom and said wow they put a lot of thought into this whole place even the restroom! But what is important is the food. For a small bedroom community, this place is perfect. It's really a take-out place unless you're lucky to snag an outdoor seat in the warmer months. I happened by when I had to wait for Subaru service, and I'm really glad I did. The staff is friendly, helping, and accommodating, and the breakfast was delicious! I had the avocado melt, which had perfectly crisp sourdough, oozy melted cheese, soft scrambled eggs, and ripe tomato and avocado. I got the fruit cup which was ripe and fresh as well. It's too bad that they don't have more seating because the place itself has adorable details like a planter box fence and container gardens to catch rainwater. Ordered a takeout from them several times through Toast (linked from the restaurant website). The food is good and reasonably priced by local standards, though a bit oily. My only complaint is that they are consistently late compared with the estimated time on Toast. I am not sure if it is the restaurant problem or Toast's problem (the restaurant does send you a text message right when the food is ready), but every time I have to wait 10 minutes on Pleasant St. (whose name does not serve it well) I am inclined to come back a tiny bit less. read more
