    Grilled Salmon

Wait, I just saw my cc statement. They added another $10 to the tip without my approval. I had already left a 16-17% tip. This has literally never happened before in my life anywhere. It can't even be an honest mistake because I specifically wrote in $ symbol and added it up correctly. WTF. Changed my rating completely. ---- [[HIGHLIGHT]]I've seen this restaurant every time I pass by on the way to Barry's or the farmers' market. They used to have a pretty nice outdoor parklet, but I guess it's gone now. They still have outdoor dining, but it's just tables set outside by the window.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We came by after a run/workout session and opted to sit outdoors to enjoy the weather and also because we had a pup. Service was quite good. They noticed small details, like an uneven table and provided a water bowl for the dog without prompting. I ordered the grilled salmon ($30) and husband got the fish sandwich ($24). The salmon was actually really good. I enjoyed the small salad it came with and the potatoes were bomb. It felt like a pretty healthy dish, so I didn't feel too guilty dining out. My husband's entree was alright. I really enjoyed the fries, but his sandwich was super soggy. Like the bottom bun was just wet and not enjoyable to eat with hands. I picked at it with a fork, but decided my dish was better. Maybe they just need to layer the sandwich a little better and prevent the sauces from totally destroying the bread.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Such a great idea to come eat dinner here !! It is tight seating but cozy!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The appetizers were so good!!! We tried the prawns, the steak tartare and the crudo! The crudo green sauce was so good I wanted to lick the plate !! The drinks were well-made ! Enjoyed every cocktail I had!! Entrees! Ordered the fresh tagliatelle pasta and it was perfection!! The best pasta I e had in awhile!! My friend ordered re s the lamb-chops and she was pleased , I tasted her potatoes and they were very well seasoned so I imagine her plate was also very rich and flavorful !!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was very cold on the Feb day we went in, outside and inside !! But that was the only discomfort. No one was really taking off their jackets lol.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service is attentive and professional- most staff is European . I just wish they would have bussed the table a little faster so we didn't have to pile up the dishes ourselves. The dessert - beignets were baked perfectly and the ice cream was divine!!

Beautiful presentation and even better execution. I ordered the meatball spaghetti, tuna crudo, and grilled salmon--every dish delivered. The meatball spaghetti was rich and comforting, with a perfectly balanced tomato sauce and tender, flavorful meatballs. The tuna crudo felt fresh and elevated, with bright citrus notes and a clean, delicate texture that stood out immediately. The grilled salmon was cooked just right--crispy on the outside, moist inside--paired with vegetables that added great depth and balance. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is stylish and warm, making it easy to relax and enjoy the meal.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was attentive without being overbearing. Overall, a well-rounded dining experience where quality and presentation clearly matter. I'd definitely come back to explore more of the menu.

Celebrated Thankagivimg early with the family here. Party of 10. We had reservations and the table was ready for us. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance was very nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered a few appetizers to begin and the presentation was nice and food delicious. We ordered our food and for a nice restaurant like this, the portions were pretty decent. Sometimes nice restaurants go for quality over quantity, but this place you get both. I was able to yake some leftover home. Overall, a good meal to celebrate Thanksgiving. I would recommend. Also, parking was easy too.

Stumbled in here on a very busy Wednesday evening. Sat at the bar and had an awesome experience. The servers and service was just amazing. Very attentive & kind. The food was spectacular as were the drinks. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Quaint busy place with a medium noise level.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Can't wait to go back.

Made a reservation, once arrived we got seated quickly. Immediately chose bubbly vs flat water, it was my husbands birthday so we got a yummy dessert too! The dishes were good but the filet was great!! We're coming again for sure, I want to try more items.

Good ambience was nice, staff were patient & attentive. Food was also good. - lychee martini: it was ok but I've had better. - Wine list: they have a good wine list. - octopus: it was cooked perfectly & had good flavor. - gnocchi: yum! It was fluffy, creamy and just tasty. The almonds added good crunch & texture to the dish. - mushroom risotto: it was a good dish, not best I've had. But had to flavor it even aroma of truffle... - seafood linguini: my friend seem to enjoy it but didn't look like something I'd order. - burger: it was a good burger, enjoyed it. Will I go back for it, no but it was good. - bread pudding: really enjoyed eating it, soft, not overly sweet. - chocolate lava cake: enjoyed it. The cake had a slightly different flavor than others I've had but not in a bad way.

I'm in love with this place -- From the food, to the service to the vibes!!! I came here for my birthday dinner and it exceeded my expectations. I really enjoyed the ribs, it was really tender and had so much flavor (9/10). For the burger, it was really juicy and the bun was so good and the fries was a great complement to the burger (9.5/10) For dessert I had the bread pudding and it was one of the best bread pudding I ever had!!! (10/10)

We came for lunch not brunch on a Sunday. We chose this place so we wouldn't be limited to just brunch food like a lot of restaurants do on a Sunday. We were soooo happy with our choice! Their menu had a nice variety. The restaurant had a nice vibe too! Service was attentive and helpful as well. Heirloom Tomatoes with Burrata- tasty Butter Lettuce salad with grilled chicken- my cousin was happy with her choice Baby Kale with Steak- yum! It tasted a little sweet and savory. This place seemed like a nice meeting spot for groups. I would definitely return just to try their dinner menu.

Went here for dinner with my gals with a reservation for 5:30pm. Seated promptly and menus were provided. I ordered a bottle of pinot noir bella for the table and it was amazing very fruity. All the food was delicious and service was kind and attentive. We will definitely be returning.

4.5 star experience…read more My party of 5 arrived on a Saturday evening and got seated within a few minutes. Always love the option to join the online waitlist ahead of time when reservations aren't available. Favorite dishes of the night were: -Gnocchi Fritto appetizer: Never had fried gnocchi before, had a great puffy texture. Truffle taste in the truffle cream sauce wasn't very strong. -Zucchine e Maiz lasagna: Pesto was a great sauce choice and paired well with the zucchini and corn. -Squid Ink Seafood Pasta (special): Generous seafood portions and the dish was flavorful. -Complimentary focaccia: Fluffy and yummy with olive oil. Other dishes: The Italian Sausage lasagna was fine. I personally love crispy lasagna edges, but some people found it too crisp and too dry. The salad (Insalata di Rucola) wasn't mind blowing, but I'm glad we ordered a veg to cut through the richness and heaviness of three carb-heavy entrees. The restaurant itself is smaller than expected, so I would avoid coming here with large parties. It also felt really hot and stuffy inside, which I anticipate getting worse as summer progresses. The interior is cutely decorated. Service was initially attentive. We did have to flag down our waitress multiple times to order and get the check. Overall, my party enjoyed the food and we would come back!

The foccacia was given to us by our waiter without us asking, even though on the menu it stated we needed to ask. This was very fluffy and can be dipped in the olive oil provided at the table. I was immediately impressed with the lasagna with Italian sausage as I was making my first cut with my knife. I could tell that the pasta was freshly made and the sausage and sauce combo was amazing. I've had a lot of lasagna in my life and this dish stood out to me. The menu gives you an option to create your own pasta dish by choosing your pasta shape, sauce, protein, and topping, so we chose the gnocchi with Alfredo sauce and added chicken as the protein. Gnocchi was nicely dense and chewy, the Alfredo was creamy and not too salty. We ended our meal with dessert, and the waiter recommended tiramisu. I've been to Italy and had tiramisu, and also made it at home several times. The tiramisu was tasty, but what I noticed was that the lady fingers weren't really soaked in the coffee/Kahlua mixture so the dessert as a whole didn't have that flavor that tiramisu is known for, plus the texture was too dry and was more cake like. Also the mascarpone was a bit too hard and not soft, perhaps not enough whipped cream was added. Overall the meal was enjoyable and I would return again to try the other types of lasagnas, and perhaps their gelato.

However, the menu felt much more limited than I remembered from several years ago, when it seemed more interesting and expansive. My friend and I shared the Chutney Prawns for $18 and the White Elephant Dosa for $26, along with one cocktail and one mocktail. Unfortunately, I was not especially impressed by the food. The prawns felt underwhelming for the price, and my mocktail was not particularly memorable. The dosa was visually impressive at two feet long, but it is ultimately still a very thin dosa and very crispy, and I found the seasoning somewhat overwhelming. The gunpowder and spices overpowered the dish for me, although the sauces and potato masala were flavorful. Our total came to approximately $90, and for that price, I expected a more satisfying overall experience. Service was also inconsistent. It was slow initially, and while our server was cordial and kind once he assisted us, he did not return to check on us after taking our order. We ultimately relied on the bartender for items such as an extra spoon and the check. The ambiance is beautiful, but between the limited menu, high prices, uneven food, and inattentive service, I do not feel the experience justified the cost. Unfortunately, I do not plan to return. For Michelin rated I expected more.
