    #1 king steam with veggies

#21 Soy whole garlic fried chicken: BEST FRIED CHICKEN I've ever had. 5/5 stars cause the chicken was that good. My group ordered the soy whole chicken and the fried skin was so crispy with just the right amount of light glaze. #1 King steam dumpling w/ veggies: Cute, but there was more bread than filling. Filling was alright. #2 King steam dumpling w/ kimchi: Couldn't tell the difference between #1 and #2 flavor. There was kimchi inside but couldn't tell the flavor was there. #4 Shaomai: Pretty good with all the dumpling. This was a mixed between soup dumpling and dim sum take of shumai. I prefer the regular dim sum shumai version. #7 dumpling with shrimp: Bite sized pieces. Soft and bouncy, easily great dish to share amongst group.

Apparently this place is recommended by Anthony Bourdain. Myungln Dumplings is a casual and cozy Korean eatery in Buena Park. We stopped by when we wanted a quick but healthy meal to go on a rainy day with toddlers in the car. This HIT the spot. Dumplings here are behemoths. They are generous with their filling. They are not only huge but flavorful and delicious. There's a good balance of ingredients. We ordered #1, 6, and 9. The baos (1 and 6) are ginormous and filling. They remind me of what my grandparents in Hong Kong would eat for breakfasts daily. The filling is warmly tucked into the fluffy steamed bread. #9 was your typical thin skinned dumpling, and they were my favorite of what we ordered since I wanted less bread. Like it's bao counterpart, this was generally stuffed. We demolished all of #9 and shared one bao. We brought back 7 buns for family and everything was consumed in one meal. Would definitely come back.

A ?hidden gem in an older strip mall near Arby's and The Source. This mom and pop restaurant has maybe 9 4-seater tables, clean ambience. I am amazed at how efficient they were with only 1 or 2 wait staff/?owners. I LOVED all the food, especially the beef dumpling soup 5/5 with a homey mild flavor. My friend enjoyed adding in some kimchi. The king dumplings were impressive: the size of your fist and perfectly steamed manapua/ chinesish bao style. The flavor was also mild even with the kimchi inside; loved the texture the most. Fried chicken was pretty good, and I appreciated a fellow yelper's tip to order sauces on the side for a less-messy and more-controlled experience. Even the minimal side dishes were amazing (sorry I don't know the names): shredded cabbage with kewpie, kimchi, and my fav: pickled/ soy radish with jalapeño. Looking forward to coming back for more of everything!

I have been a faithful customer who has been coming to get dumplings for over ten years but that royalty is broken due to the fact that the owner was an irate man who started to scream at an incoming customer because of my dog. Mind you, I asked the lady before if dogs are allowed and she said "yes" so with her permission I came back with my puppy who is under ten pounds to order my usual to go order but the owner (man) was very rude about me entering into the store and I told him I was told it was fine but if not I'll be back but then he started to say that he will refuse service which is fine but the yelling-I did not appreciate nor deserved. He told me that there is a sign by the door that says no dogs-if you see the pics I have attached to this review, there are no signs that states "no dogs allowed"- today, the lady who originally said dogs are allowed kept telling the owner that dogs are fine but he kept his negative energy and vociferated the whole time I was trying to get out with my puppy. My puppy was shaking in fear and peed because the disruptive man was causing anxiety for my dog and I was also very anxious because of him. He threatened me that In America you can refuse dogs without putting signs out by the door. If he was right, then why do other places clearly indicate if dogs are allowed or not? And if dog was not allowed, why tell me its fine in the first place? I would have never taken my puppy if they said dogs are not allowed. all i got to say is, you keep treating your customers in such coarse way, you will eventually end up closing business. I'll kee spreading my side of the story to all the people I have recommended this place so that I can save them from such ungrateful, insipid, imbecile, vulgar man.

Loved the Dumplings, they were my favorite, and the radish too. I wasn't too crazy about the friend shrimp. Highly recommend this place .

Shrimp tempura/fried rice/chicken/other foods were all so-so... The dumplings at this restaurant were so delicious that I thought the other food would be of a high standard as well, but it wasn't that... I think the way to maintain your reputation is to boldly stop selling other foods and focus more on dumplings. This is a common opinion of many people who went together about the taste, so it would be better if you definitely improve it or boldly discontinue it. The dumplings are the best in the OC area, except for the fried dumplings... I always want to come back just to eat the dumplings.

    Sweet and spicy fried chicken

Our first time there was in December and we ordered a little bit of everything. Sorry, I forgot to take pictures of the fried chicken. Everything was delicious! We've been back a couple of times since then. Highly recommend it.

We found this one by chance. We've eaten at the Northridge location several times and it's always amazing, this location is no exception! Everything is handmade, and fresh. The staff is so welcoming, kind and friendly. The restaurant is small but it's well lit and the booths are comfy. I haven't had a bad meal here you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. They also sell their dumplings frozen so you can take them home and cook at your leisure. We will definitely be back to this location. This one is located down the road from Knotts Berry farm and about a mile from Porto's bakery.

Complimentary mayo and shredded cabbage and what looked like sliced marinated daikon or turnip? King Dumplings are huge. They're about the whole size of your hand. 4 per order. You'll see big bags of wheat flour and ingredients they use on racks as you walk to the restroom in the back. They sell sugar free oat cookies. Their fried chicken is a must if you're craving for something crunchy and greasy. It tastes different and way better than your standard fried chicken. 7 pieces for half order $16.98. Very crispy, light and delicious. You have to eat it fresh. Won't taste the same the day after unless you throw it in the air fryer. #9 dumplings with pork and veggies were very good. You get 6 pieces for $14.49. Hand made. Oil see them making it by the glass window as you walk to the restroom. Only one lady serving and doing everything in the front. So it can get busy for her. Water comes in plastic jars into metal cups- Korean style. This place was visited by Anthony Bourdain. Low key tasty place.

Delicious food! Decent service and prices. Parking is plenty. Ambience is fine- nothing too special. Looks clean and it's not loud so we could have conversations. Would come again!

    Korean style steamed kimchi dumplings

My go to spot for Korean dumplings is pao jao that's inside the food court at koreatown plaza. I've seen a a few myungin dumpling locations that I wanted to try it out and omg I'm so glad I did! I was afraid that it wasn't going to taste as good as pao jao so I only got one item. I got the Korean style kimchi steamed dumplings and it was.. SO GOOD!! I love the little spicy kick it had to them. I also loved that it had a lot of filling inside and it wasn't all just dumpling wrapper. I would definitely go back and try other items on their menu! I cannot wait!

They offer valet parking at the entrance, along with additional parking around the corner. Since this place gets very busy, I'd recommend arriving early to avoid a long wait. This is a great spot for large groups and celebrations. The menu is designed for family-style dining, so you can order several dishes to share with everyone at the table, or you can order an individual entrée if that's more your style. Despite the packed dining room, the service was quick and attentive. Our food came out surprisingly fast, and the staff kept everything running smoothly throughout our meal. The food was delicious, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. Combined with the lively atmosphere and efficient service, it's easy to see why this restaurant has become such a popular destination. I'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu. I love that you order off their kiosk which is conveniently located at the table already. The staff was quick to bring out the banchan. To start, we shared their leek pancake and pork blood sausage. For my lunch I went with their cold noodles since it was a cold day. The people I came with had some pork spare ribs, which came with rice and bone knee soup. And a bibimbap. The leek pancake was the best thing there. The pork blood sausage was more of rice noodles rolled up with pork blood flavored. I can't imagine it being much portion. Eveything else was bland which we all agreed to. For my cold noodles I added plenty of vinegar and mustard but it was not it. Still lacked flavor. Also it only had half a boiled egg and two verythin slices of beef. The pork was over cooked, dry, and lacked flavor. The bibimbap was also bland even with their red sauce. We we were all disappointed. The pricing is affordable. The staff was nice and quick. They made sure to check up on us. Parking here is a tough even though it was a weekday. Their lot was full and you can park next door but by the dental office but that was also full. We waited a little and eventually found parking. The restaurant is very casual, clean and spacious. This was just really meh to me.
