What makes them stand apart from say a Subway or Jersey Mike's or Jimmy John's is that they have one of those conveyor belt toasters that once you've selected your bread, meat, and cheese, they run your sandwich through it to heat it up and give the bread a little bit of a char and the cheese a bit of a melt before it arrives on the other side to get your toppings added. And that is a cool standout, I'll admit, but somehow the flavor left much to be desired? Although that might be more to blame on the fact that they were out of like half their toppings... I really wanted the oil put on mine (oil is why Jersey Mike's is my go-to sandwich shop) and they didn't have any, and they went light on the Italian spices (probably because they were about to run out of that as well). And apparently an employee tried chasing after them to get the drinks back? Idk how that situation ended up resolving itself.
