Visited this restaurant last week and had the lunch special - a carne asada burrito. All I can say is to at it is one of the best places for Mexican food in the area. The carne asada was cooked perfectly and was large chunks. The red sauce was also very tasty. Great chilies and salsa too. Wait staff was a little busy so it was also to get the order in but well worth the wait. I'll be visiting again soon. read more

Pretty good Mexican food however if you were keen on Mexican food and are anticipating the spices of Mexican food this is more of a traditional Mexican restaurant where instead of seasoned beef they have smoked meats. I like smoked meats so it worked out for me read more

Totally totally worth going here! I've had Nadine's on my list of places to eat at for 2 years! We had the Shishido pepper appetizer $4.95 I could have eaten them all myself they were delicious. A wonderful Mexican-fusion restaurant in a city you would never expect. If it wasn't for the fair pricing - I would think this eatery should move to downtown CdA rather than up here in Rathdrum. I ate with two other ladies and everything we ordered was delicious. I asked for some customization on my burrito and was accommodated perfectly. Instead of getting the burrito with fries on the side I asked for all the topping in the burrito on top of the fries - delicious! They have some nice outdoor seating as well to make up for the minimal indoor space. They have a small bar that you can sit at if you want a quick bite and some beer. I will be back next time I am in northern Idaho this restaurant is a gem! read more

Loved my fishtacos and my sweet and funny female server she just got a tattoo with her kid....we asked about the jail museum that seems to be never open but the business hours are posted and they bother giggled and agreed but said it is a cool piece if history. It is not normal Mexican food but it's very good. I don't know how to explain other than just try it. read more

THIS IS THE BEST MEXICAN food I've had in a long time. We had the chimichanga with SMOKED BRISKET inside! It was the best chimi that we've ever had! We notice a huge Traeger cooker out back when we arrived. They did an awesome job cooking the Brisket. And a very modest amount of meat was stuffed into the chimi to boot. The jalapeño-lime calamari appetizer was quite excellent also. The staff were all very friendly and attending. I highly recommend NADINES for lunch. We will definitely be back SOON !! read more

I am gluten and dairy free and I hit the home run!! Had the Al Pastor and Pineapple burrito but as a bowl without sour cream or cheese. They brought it with warm corn tortillas that I didn't even need. Black beans, rice, pork and pineapple, my tummy is singing. . Then there are the servers, so nice and sweet. Smiling and friendly. Didn't roll their eyes at my comment about being gluten and dairy free. Will definitely be back. read more

I really love the food here!!! For the most part our service has been great too..I wanted to keep coming back except I ordered a Arnold Palmer and I was charged for a Iced Tea and a Lemonade. I was to tired to complain about it. I don't know why that bugged me so bad. I have ran restaurants for 15 plus years and when somebody orders a AP you charge them for one Ice Tea or one Lemonade, not both. We just bought a car that day so I think that's why I was bugged about paying $5 for a drink that I had to ask to be refilled once. I just thought it was strange. I asked the people I work with at our restaurant and they agreed that you don't do that. Our burrito was cold too, but don't let this discourage you, most of the times I've been here have been amazing!! Just don't order a Arnold palmer you might as well get a ice tea with extra lemon and a side of sugar to save the extra $2.50. read more

I'll start off by saying I really wanted to not like this place. There's a ridiculous Facebook group that fancy them selves "foodies" but rave about the worst places. Nadine's was one of them. We showed up for dinner. The place is pretty small and smelled musty. Lots of outdoor seating but it was that time of day where the sun was beating down on those tables. We found an open table and were greeted quickly by the busser with chips and salsa. Ashley was our server and was greats. Drinks and chips always full. Great suggestions as it was our first time there. We got the guacamole/salsa sampler. This included guac and a fire roasted tomato salsa, a tasty salsa that used Asian rice vinegar called rocket fuel and pick de Gallo. I got the brisket chimichunga and the wife got a brisket burrito. Ashley suggested we mix the sauces served in top of the burrito. A green on which seemed to be tomatillo and a enchilada sauce. I didn't care for the green but the red was very good. They only fault I found was my chimichanga was undercooked so I basically had a burrito. And the brisket was a little dry. Will definitely be back read more

Went with my wife and her two grownup kids. Had the pork tacos, which were amazing. Everything was cooked fresh to order. Loved the small town vibe going on too. Servers were really polite and friendly. We all really enjoyed and had a great visit with a great dinner. If ever in Rathdrum, try this place for lunch or dinner. read more
