Cute restaurant. Friendly efficient staff. Amazing food! Chips were hot and freshly made. Salsa was tasty. Both my husband and I had the stacked chicken enchiladas - he did red sauce, I did green. The chicken was moist and was seasoned well. The green sauce was light and flavorful. The red sauce was authentic. We found the restaurant on Yelp looking for some place on the way home from Silverwood. So glad we found it! We may end up making more trips to Rathdrum to eat at Nadine's!! read more

This place sucks. Plain and simple. The bean dip was pretty okay but all of my family's dinners were DISGUSTING. Our waiter was being so unprofessional and literally talked bad about us to her fellow waiters. The waiters name is rosanne. If I were you I would request a different waiter. Food is horrible. I travel for work and eat out often. Nadine's was great - very accommodating and amazing food. I came in at about 11. They had Wifi and provided me with chips and salsa and water while I worked - checking in on me only enough to make sure I was okay without feeling pressured - until I was ready to order food at 12. The food was spectacular. I even changed up the order a bit to have the rice on the side with some beans, instead of in the burrito as it was listed on the menu. Server was nice and completely open to how I requested it. Didn't charge me extra for another round of chips and the side of beans. I stayed until almost 2pm while their lunch rush came and went (I made sure I wasn't taking up a table that could've been used... They had a few to spare, and never pressured me to leave at all). This is a treasure, tucked into the tiny center of Rathdrum. My first visit was on a Saturday for lunch with my sister. Loved their take on deviled eggs. Excellent Mexican food. We made the drive from Wallace for my birthday dinner and Nadine's didn't disappoint. It's a pretty small building and they are limited in seating, so be prepared to wait. The portions are super generous - my table of 6 split the "Mexican poutine" (which sounds weird, but it was much better than I expected it to be) and as a result not one of us could eat more than half of our entree! My husband and I both got the stacked enchiladas. I got red sauce he got green, and mine was much spicier. read more

I had the pork belly tacos and my wife had the chopped salad. Both were excellent. I really liked the pickled onion (I think that's what it was) on the tacos and the meat was good also. I didn't really dig the refried beans and rice. My wife's salad was HUGE and loaded with chicken. Flavors on that one were great, too. I had heard about Nadine's for quite a while, but had never ventured out into Idaho to try it until Sat evening. It is very small, we arrived at 5 pm and had to wait 45 minutes for a table, but it was worth it. The food I ordered (chili relleno) was delicious served with refried beans and rice. I always judge a Mexican restaurant by how the refried beans taste and these were excellent. The service was exceptional too. I am from southern AZ and I am very picky about my Mexican food. You see this place all the time on Facebook. I feel like some of it may be paid advertising. The place is relatively small and not kid friendly. If your meeting a friend you can probably get a table and have a decent meal. As far as taking your family there I would not suggest that at all. Fantastic place. Mix of Mexican and upscale comfort food. Corn chowder was thick and creamy, pork belly tacos and brisket chimichanga were tasty Mexican dishes with an interesting twist. One of the best dishes tonight was shepherds pie served in a cast iron skillet. My wife raved about it. All in a beautiful setting with downtown Rathdrum decked out in Christmas lights and snow. This is by far the best mexican restaurant in the area that I have experienced. I had the Yucatan Chicken and smoked onion burrito with green sauce and it was fabulous!
