quite literally obsessed with this salon!!!! been to so many and you can never guarantee you'll get a good set - not the case with nail lab raleigh. every time i walk in, i know that im going to get exactly what i asked for and a consistent experience. i get my nails done by bryan but have visited another tech in a pinch who was also great. forget her name. both sets shown here are done by bryan. not only can he copy a photo i give him 1:1 he can improvise with very little input. i'm indecisive and he helps me improvise when needed. he is also the fastest nail artist i've ever had that can deliver quality. both of these sets with designs on each nail have taken him end to end around 1:15 hrs which is just insane because his prep and shaping is on point too. vibe is very nice! they offer you beverages and have a cute drink menu but i usually just take a free diet coke. can't rave about them enough!!! price is fair but definitely up there due to the designs i get. never felt like i've been priced unfairly though. will never stop talking about this place!!! i have even told friends and sent them here and they loved it as well. read more

Do not come here!!! Went in to get acrylic, showed them what I wanted and got quoted $80. I sat down got my nails done and then they charge me $95 at checkout. They were supposed to be short French tips snd they charged me more than they said it was going to cost. Not only that but they didn't go off of my inspo picture so it wasn't even what I wanted and they weren't willing to fix or give me back the extra money they charged me. very rude and not worth your money. My only complaint is that my toes chipped very quickly and my nail polish looked a bit messy/bubbly like 30 mins after leaving. (I got gelx so it wasn't that I smudged them). She apologized for the interaction between the hostess and I. She corrected some misinformation that the host received and restated what their process was and offered a discount. I'm a huge customer service fan. Very disappointed with the service here, I went to get my nails done about four days ago and got a design in some of my nails, but it was fading because they didn't put nail polish on the top or anything to cover it and I wasn't gonna go back only because of that but one of my nails got broke so I went back to also get the nail fixed. I was so excited the first time I went here, but it's been downhill since then. I've had to go back and have rhinestones re-applied twice within a few days of getting them done. Nails have also broken twice now within a week. I don't mind paying more for great service, but they are too expensive for this sub-par quality. Also, the top technicians (which I would happily pay extra for) are never available for appointments and aren't even taking new clients. I'm not thrilled with their hygiene practices either. I've been coming to the nail lab since November 2023. I enjoy the pedicures, my nails and the overall service and atmosphere. I had my first truly negative experience yesterday, and unfortunately it was for my brows. Towards the end of my nail service I asked if anyone was available to do eyebrows that day and I was told yes. However, I noticed that when they tried to find someone to do my brows, there was a lot of back and forth conversation about who was going to do them. They finally found someone to do them but she seemed a little nervous. I asked her if she was comfortable doing them and she said yes. Unfortunately, this was not the case and it was very clear when she was providing the service. She was so sweet and nice but I told her I only wanted my brows cleaned up and she waxed off most of my brows. It was so bad that when I left out, the girl who worked at the front desk covered her mouth and said "Omg, she waxed off half of your brow!" When I said yes, she proceeded to bust out laughing and walk away. Which for one, was incredibly unprofessional. I was already upset about my brows and that only added insult to injury. When I got in my car, I took a closer look and called the salon and let them know I was not satisfied but I did not want to make a scene or make the lady who did them feel bad or embarrassed. I also told them that I come there quite often for my nails and while I understand that they want to make as much money as possible and provide clients with the services they asked for, they should not have people who are clearly uncomfortable providing services, provide such services. The issue is that I've been getting powder dip for a few years at my go to salon and I've never had a breakage until I had it soaked off. At the nail lab they didn't dip into the powder as many times and my nails were significantly thinner, which at first I thought was fantastic. I've had 2 nails break within 48 hours of my service and I'm extremely disappointed and those nails are now gagged and I have a business trip to travel to. Second time going to this location, not the greatest visit this time. Nail tech chipped 4 of my nails then tried to deny she did it. I asked for a design, stated she couldnt do it because my nails weren't long enough. Went with a back up idea, not what I wanted but I had no choice. While cleaning my cuticles, nail tech cut my finger. Not sure if she was in a rush or what, but it was a sloppy job. Went to the register she gave the cashier a paper with the charge for my service $67. The cashier tells me the price looks at my nails and because of a design charged me $92?? For a "Luxury" nail salon, this place is a joke. I made an appointment for 2 pedicures on Sunday at 1:30. Arrived right on time, and was told it would be just a few minutes until we were seated. It was not a few minutes, it was 30 minutes. It is infuriating when service providers hold customers to a high standard and threatens cancellation fees or appointments being canceled if the customer is late, but if the business makes them wait 30 minutes that's fine. My pedicure took 30 minutes to complete, so it quite literally doubled my time in the salon. The pedicure itself was rushed, and haphazard. The manicurist said maybe 3 words the whole time, didn't say hello or offer any food or water (as they are supposed to do). Even when she needed me to move my feet, she didn't use any words she would just manhandle my legs. I paid $15 for "extra 10 minutes massage", but only received 10 minutes TOTAL. My friend who was sitting next to me even texted me at one point asking if she was even rubbing my legs because there was no massaging happening, she just rubbed in the lotion and called it a day. To top it off, as soon as I got home I noticed that the polish application was streaky and translucent in multiple spots, so now I have to go somewhere else to have it fixed before our big event this weekend. As someone who rarely indulges in myself like this, I am extremely disappointed that this is the service we received for $65. Dont fall for the tiktoks they make showcasing their salon, they care more about creating that marketing than actually providing decent services. read more

However, beyond that, I can no longer recommend this location - which is a shame because I have been coming here long before the new owners took over, and have been a loyal regular, referring multiple people since the new owners took over. All of that being said, I've been routinely disappointed in the rapidly declining customer service, sub par pedicures and generally not living up to what they advertise. I waited until 10:40 and asked how much long and was told "it's still going to be a while" and that's when my timer ran out - I had pickup at noon and now it would be cutting it too close. This location is absolutely beautiful, everyone in there was so kind and talented. I got a full set with nail design and the design was absolutely stunning, my nail artist was very talented and kind.. however, within three days of getting my nails done they all started popping off. I wasnt rough on my hands at all, so this was shocking. This was really disappointing considering I paid upwards of 100 bucks for my vacation nails and absolutely loved the design.
