Well, times change. I kept coming here for years even after Ken left. Because Henry was still there and he was great. Then he left. So I started going to the owner, Aaron. Aaron isn't friendly and he can come off very rude when he speaks to you but I never got complicated stuff and I wasn't trying to make a big deal. Then one day, I asked him for a certain style and he told me that shape wouldn't look good on my hands. It was mask season and I thought I misheard him and nope. He said it again. So then I started going to his wife, Tammy. They sit right next to each other at their work stations so it was kind of funny to still see Aaron but having Tammy's service was so much better. Tammy is a bit hard to understand but she is really thorough and does great work. They take appointments and walk ins and I always made appointments. So pretty soon, I started to notice, even with an appointment, I would be waiting. That's fine, they are busy and I don't think they have a system for blocking out longer times for tedious sets. Then I started to notice she would be starting sets close to my appointment time. So I started to ask when they were going to help me with my appointment and Tammy would switch out or I would leave. As of recently, Tammy has been rude with my requests and when I ask questions, she wasn't very helpful. I let it be. Thought it was just a hard couple of months. Well, here we are today. Went in for a fill and a pedicure with Sammy. This review is not about Sammy, she is a doll and always so kind. If you need a great pedi, see Sammy. Anyway, Tammy was rude again and while I was sitting there - I just realized... this place isn't all that clean. It was like I started to see it for what it was. They recently got new chairs but the place needs updating and a fly trap would help. Anyway, after my service was over I told Tammy I wouldn't be returning any more and I won't. There are so many nail salons in this plaza. Kid you not, I think there is 6 or 7. (don't you dare link those two numbers for a dumb song) jk do you I have a problem with people pleasing apparently. Joanne was amazing. Years ago I used to come Aaron every two weeks but moved away and wasn't coming by anymore. Recently I moved back and thought I'd check it out again. Aaron was busy and Joanne took care of me. I'm very simple. I like nude, neutral, and sparkling. She got what I meant and I loved my nails. She was super nice the whole time and I didn't feel like anyone was pushing any upgrades on me like many others places. There are a lot of colors to choose from and many techs available. The parking structure is right next to their door and I feel it was super affordable. Things I didn't like. Well it's been many years since I was there. I wasn't warned that my spa chair massager didn't work before sitting and that's my favorite park. The place itself hasn't changed which isn't good :( it's outdated. But I like techs and people. $35 for gel pedicure. They don't give you a heads up if there will be extra fees. Pretty horrible cleanliness practices, they keep filers, clippers, cuticle cutters, heel pumice stones altogether without cleaning/disinfecting. Pedicure chairs are pretty outdated. I came here for the first time back in high school and it was pretty standard, but I think now in 2024 there are so many options to choose from in that plaza - I'd recommend shopping around and looking for a different, cleaner salon. read more

Idk why I keep coming here I guess it's my fault now lol but I haven't got my nails done in a year so i thought I'd give them another shot, Paid $60 for a sloppy gel manicure and pedicure, my pedicure was worse than the manicure, the girl only cut & filed my toe nails, with a very quick massage, did not cut any cuticles off, she didn't file the top of my toe nails to make them even. My manicure had warps & lints trapped inside the polish, the polish they used was old & dirty. I even tipped them like an idiot lol I've made up my mind & never giving them my business again, unfortunately they keep getting worse every time I try to give them the benefit of the doubt. read more

Don't ever come here! This is the dirtiest salon I've been to. They don't properly clean their utensils, I watched them rinse the nail tools with water only. I seen they used a foot scrubber on myself and the next client after me, they don't care to use a new one and allow cross contamination. The lady who did my nails wasn't super careful with the paint. I typically get asked to wash my hands before putting on the polish but this time she didn't have me wash my hands till the end. She used the electronic file to move back my cuticles and now they really hurt. She also nicked my skin a few times with the file. There's glue all over my left hand. It was $38 for coffin + gel. I paid $110 one week, 2 weeks later got the same exact work done & now it's $137. When I was explaining that I had just paid a different price 2 weeks prior he cut me off to talk over me & said that I must not remember correctly... lol. Don't gaslight your customers & don't disrespect them by trying to talk over them. Business here doesn't make sense anymore & it's a shame because you'd think that customers would see improvements to the place but instead all the original furniture is worn out & barely standing. the only thing that looks new & well kept is the ATM. I picked a nice tone of baby blue. The lady who did my nails was really nice and gentle with my toes. UPDATE: It's been 5 days and my nails are already peeling!!! New pics attached. SMH, very disappointed This was my first time coming here and it was very disappointing. I had a gel French tip manicure and a regular pedicure. I just wanted a quick French tip bc I was scared to try out a new place in this area and I didn't think it could end badly since French tips seem pretty straightforward. I was in and out in 50 minutes, which is the fastest I've ever had nails done. It felt like the lady who did the French tip didn't even try comparing it to my other nails or even looking at her work when it was done. I probably should've said something but I also just wanted to get out of here because it was so unsanitary. All the chairs had leather chipping off on all parts, the towels and pillows they were using were dirty and ragged. I understand using old towels but when they're visibly ragged, I think, as a business, it's better for you buy new towels. Additionally, tip was cash only, which they don't tell you on the phone when you schedule an appt, so you have to use the ATM and it has an additional $4.50 fee which was annoying. And lastly, it's $1 to walk out w/ the plastic slippers, which wouldn't have been as annoying if the lady didn't tell me that my toes would be finished drying in 10 mins and to wait, but then another lady, 10 mins later, told me it'd be 30 more mins and I should just pay I gave them 2 starts because at least my pedicure isn't horrific. This used to be one of my favorite nail spots. I had come regularly for about two years and almost always got my nails done with Henry. A few times I had gone with other people but my nails didn't come out as well, so I always made sure to make an appointment with Henry since I was always satisfied with the job he did. The past time I had come here they were extremely rude and when I made an appointment, they took later appointments before me. They were super rude to me when I simply asked when I'd be seated, since I had waited over an hour past my appointment time. I finally left after Aaron had been extremely rude and I definitely will never come back again. As much as I loved this place before, I'd rather get my nails done elsewhere and for a better price. Words cannot express the work Aaron did. I'm still amazed myself at how a man did a better job than the other lady elsewhere who did my nails. I was referred by a friend of his work&decided to go on yelp&look at his work. Every client seem to love their nails so I gave it a try. I had gotten my nails done recently elsewhere about a few days ago&they were already lifting and some even broke off. Allowed Aaron to work his magic on my hands and now I cant stop staring at it. I'm BEYOND happy with how they came out. The other place made my nails even feel sensitive to the touch. Overall, he met my expectations and I couldnt be happier. He's very sweet and kinda funny. The only thing is that theyre a little more on the pricer side. Paid $48 for new set of medium coffin shape nails not including tip. This was my first time here. It was so uncomfortable and inappropriate. I spent $93 on short nails and a pedicure with French tip. And for the women who were talking about me all rudely. I know more than 2 languages! FYI. My pedicure was alright. However everything doesn't seem sanitized. I was sitting in the chair for an hour in awkward position. After one week I came back to get a fill because I thought my nails grew to quickly. I ended up paying $35+$10 tip because the other man (not Aaron) did a decent job. My mother does nails for a living. She doesn't do acrylics but her friends in her shop does. I asked is it normal for the fill not to go all the way to my cuticles? She said it's because of one of two things. They either don't know how to do it right or they are scamming you to make you come in sooner for a fill. Please review both pictures I have posted. The one with the black done by Aaron and the purple done by the other man. The fill never even touches my cuticles. It's another week later and I have to get a fill again. I made an appt with another shop, I'm tired of having to come every week when my friends go every three weeks. First time I paid $54+$10 tip. I tip well because I'm nice. But I'm not coming back here. I came here because of word of mouth. But I'm going to make sure everyone knows that if you get acrylics and a fill tell them to make sure to do it all the way. Got dipping powder for my mail last Friday, and this Friday all of them are pelting off

I've been coming to this nail salon for a few years now but I always get a standard gel manicure and pedicure and I've always been satisfied. However, today I decided that I wanted to get a full set for the holidays with Aaron since everyone raves about his work- and I was not disappointed! I asked for off white, squared shaped acrylics with a white snowflake detail on both my ring fingers and that is exactly what I got. I decided to try the dip powder today, and here are my reasons why I won't be getting dip from this salon. 1) the color is not what I expected. Asked for white and got eggshell. 2) manicure isn't included, so they proceeded to dremel and tear up my cuticles to then apply dip powder. 3) No cleanup or anything, leaving everything looking messy around the nail and under. I didn't have an appointment but they took me in fairly quickly. I got a regular pedicure and dip nails. I question the cleanliness of the tools they're using and whether all the technicians are licensed. The towels looked like they were once white but are so dirty looking and stained. The pedicure was just ok. My nails were burning as the nail tech used the e-file on my fingernails. The dip nails weren't the best I've had, and they started to chip after just one week. I do not recommend service here. However, there were several people coming in for appointments with Tammy, May, and Aaron, so I assume they are the technicians to get. Note: I used to see May when she was at a different salon and her work was fantastic. I was not lucky enough to get her for my walk-in, and if I could get past the unsanitary feel perhaps would go back only for her. read more

This review is based off my experience with Aaron. First of all, he's amazing at what he does! The times that I come and get my acrylic set done I always leave with this star struck face. He's always super careful and great with the time frame. He finished my nails in less then an hour. Also, if you have a picture in mind of what to get he'll try his best to match it and he always has the best advice on what looks better when it comes to a design/color. went here today, got seated, the man puts the towel on the desk and another client walked in and gets seated for a predicate. The man comes back to where I was seated and says "sorry", pulled the towel away without me getting my hands off it because he didn't communicate to me what he was doing and only said sorry as he was pulling the towel. This place is horrible!! My powder dip nails only lasted 3 days!!! Went back in to fix and the guy there kept pushing me to do ACRYLIC (Which i told him I'm allergic to!!) They kept saying my nails were too long for powder dip when my nails were nowhere long! Ive been doing powder dip for years and all they kept doing the whole time is complain that i need to do other services cause my nails wont last! The girl ALSO DID NOT soak my nails SHE RIPPED THE OLD SET OFF!!! Destroying and breaking them!! Thats why they did them so thin just so they can break more!! The guy who did my pedicure dug so deep in my toe HALF MY NAIL BROKE OFF!! And just to prove that what they said was bull!! The nail they apparently said was a perfect size to do powder dip BROKE WITHIN 4 DAY!! The nails I took so long to grow are now destroyed!! Also the day I went to get my nail fixed 2 other women were also back complaining! I feel this place is only packed because all the other salons are busy. This used to be my go-to nail salon, but I will not be returning after the most UNPROFESSIONAL experience with one of their male nail techs. I had asked the male tech for a french tip manicure but I didn't like how the tips were coming out. There was hair stuck in the polish & some of the tips didn't go all around the nail to the edges so I politely ask him to fix it. He tells me there's no hair & doesn't fix the edges. I ask him again & he doesn't fix it. So then I ask to have my nails painted one color & he proceeds to paint OVER the coats of nail polish already on my nails. I tell him that is not I wanted & to just remove it all. He's supposed to do the gel removal process of taking off the polish, buffing, & filing my nails, but he leaves after sloppily scraping off the polish. I ask him if he's going to fix my nails & he just ignores me & starts working on another customer's nails. Aaron, the manager, is sitting next to me & I tell him that I am VERY UNHAPPY & want to leave. He tells me that he'll have another tech do my nails for me, free of charge. He insists that he wants to make me happy, but I don't have time. At this point, I've been at the salon for over an hour. Although the manager wanted to compensate for the male tech's rude & unprofessional service, I will not be coming back. read more

Total Nightmare. I came here before my vacation trip to get a full set. An older man ( I would say gentleman but read on) attended to me. I asked for a full set short, almond and nude pink. Instead I revived a square full set with several wounds. The worst on my right thumb, you can see from the photos from the day of and the next day that it only got worse. Should I have walked away when the man used his gross large thumb nail as a tool... yes, but I didn't and now I'm full of regret that I didn't wait the twenty minutes for Bella's quality service.
