I had been a regular customer at this salon for quite some time, but eventually stopped going because the manager and her daughter, Wendy, were consistently rude and dismissive. After about a year away, I decided to give it another try since it's conveniently located near my home.
During this recent visit, I asked for a gel manicure. The technician strongly insisted I get "gel builder," even though I specifically said I didn't want it. She claimed the color I chose was only available in that product. A week later, the gel completely lifted off one of my nails.
Today, I returned intending to get another gel manicure, fully prepared to pay for it. However, the moment I walked in, the staff started speaking in another language, seated me, and began accusing me of lying. They insisted they would never have used gel builder and implied it was somehow my fault. I calmly explained that I wasn't looking for a free service, I was willing to pay, I just wanted to avoid using the same polish that had failed the week before.
At that point, the technician aggressively tossed my hand back, and the manager told me they would not be doing my nails. The entire interaction was unprofessional and deeply disrespectful.
I have never left a review before, but felt compelled to share this experience. This place is extremely rude and treats customers with blatant disregard. Save your time and money -- go somewhere that values professionalism and basic courtesy. read more
